  • Demon Hunters Have Big Demons and Little Tokens in Fractured in Alterac Valley - Hearthstone Card Review and Theorycraft Deck

    Pro

I'll have to look him up thanks

  • New Priest Minion - Spirit Guide

    Pro

Well-costed Taunt that also draws two cards when it dies? Sounds pretty good to me. Great way for slower Priest decks to stay alive against aggro, while having enough Attack that it can actually threaten other decks. This is a very good minion for Control Priest, we'll see if the deck can make its presence felt.

"Kurt Rushell" is probably referring to Kurt Russell, a famous actor.  He starred in The Thing, Hateful Eight, and several Fast & Furious movies.

  • New Hunter Minion - Stormpike Battle Ram

    Pro

We're probably going to see some kind of combo deck that abuses the Cost reduction with Revive Pet and other stuff. Hunter Combo decks usually aren't much more than memes, but I'm excited to see what people come up with.

  • New Hunter Spell - Ice Trap

    Pro

Good Counterspell for Hunter. Doesn't fully deny the spell, but it does waste Mana and wasting your opponent's Mana is usually really good for aggressive decks. Rinling's Rifle is a lot better now (and it was already pretty good).

  • New Warrior Minion - Glory Chaser

    Pro

Good card draw for Taunt decks. There are a lot of decent Taunt minions that, if Warrior wanted to try it out, I think the archetype could be pretty decent and at the very least could draw lots of cards.

  • New Warrior Spell - Shield Shatter

    Pro

Very strong AoE for Control Warrior that like to stack up the Armor. It's a 5 Mana combo with Heavy Plate at the very least, so I think there's a real chance for Big Warrior to try it out and be pleased with the result.

  • New Demon Hunter Minion - Battleworn Vanguard

I've found Demon Hunter cards particularly tricky to evaluate in the lead up to this expansion. I can't tell if I just don't play the class enough, or if it just hasn't settled down into a smooth identity yet, but something about cards like this makes my brain shut off and just go 'I guess it's good?'.

  • New Neutral Minion - Herald of Lokholar

    Pro

Card draw is good, and if there's a specific Frost spell that you want to draw then this can tutor it right up for you. I'll go out on a limb and say that this minion doesn't see play in Standard.

  • New Neutral Minion - Ice Revenant

    Pro

Big lots of stats. There are some cheap Frost spells, mostly in Shaman and Mage, that maybe they want to mess around with the new Questing Adventurer. I suspect it won't be enough of a payoff to be a serious build-around.

  • New Neutral Minion - Irondeep Trogg

    Pro

It is cheap enough that you can weave it into any turn and, if your opponent doesn't have AoE, it could be rather annoying for them. In this day and age of Rush minions and Weapons, I don't think that we'll see it get too ubiquitous. Token Demon Hunter could take a chance on it, as at the very least it could summon another copy before it dies to an AoE to discount Ur'zul Giant.

  • New Neutral Minion - Tower Sergeant

    Pro

A slightly cheaper Frostwolf Warlord. I don't think this is good enough to beat out Traveling Merchant for its spot in any Token or Swarm decks. so I don't think this will see play.

  • New Neutral Minion - Kobold Taskmaster

    Pro

Good for decks that want to play a lot of spells or find extra ways to buff their minions, but I don't think those kinds of decks are lacking for spells to play. Maybe decks that care about Hand size?

  • New Neutral Minion - Reflecto Engineer

    Pro

Very niche. Could be used in a combo deck, or in aggressive decks playing slow decks that run big Taunts with a lot of Health. Probably something that could be done with Augmented Porcupine and its ilk.

  • New Neutral Minion - Gankster

    Pro

Could be neat if you need to disrupt a Combo deck (btw, lines up nicely with Efficient Octo-bot), otherwise it doesn't feel like it should be any good in tempo decks unless they care a lot about Stealth and don't want to run the dozens of other Stealth minions in Standard.

  • New Neutral Minion - Corporal

    Pro

This could be really scary in handbuff decks (I'm thinking Paladin, specifically thanks to Bolvar). This probably has a chance to be the best 2-Drop in Arena, and I think there's a good chance it finds a home somewhere in Standard. Is it a bit of a win-more? Sure, but it's not just win-more, it's win-a-lot-more.

  • New Warrior Minion - Scrapsmith

    Pro

Good for handbuff decks, good for Taunt decks. IT's a solid Taunt minion that gives you more Taunt minions, which makes it great with Glory Chaser. I don't think Taunt Warrior is likely to be stronger than Quest (at least, not right now) but it could be a fun time if you're tired of jamming the very best decks.

  • New Warlock Spell - Seeds of Destruction

    Pro

Yeah, shuffle some stuff. Cool. Has synergy with Fel spell stuff, I think, but otherwise it's a bit of a Tempo loss for some 3/3s that show up eventually. Maybe it's good, I'm just not a fan personally.

  • 6 New Ionia Cards Have Been Revealed for Runeterra's Magic Misadventures Expansion

I don't think it's that strong we already have a five mana burst speed spell that give two units (The Time Has Come) and it doesn't see any play. Nine lives looks only slightly better.

  • New Shaman Spell - Frostbite

    Pro

This is a very good card for Tempo Shaman decks. Unlike Cult Neophyte, your opponent can't wait out its effect: they have to spend two more Mana on their next spell (regardless of when) if you can trigger the HK. If Elemental Shaman can find enough other card draw to replace Primal Dungeoneer, I think this card should be included in those decks.

  • New Neutral Minion - Troll Centurion

    Pro

That's a very large minion, and let's be honest: You probably aren't triggering its HK very often. So it's an OK 8/8 with Rush, likely only going to see play in decks that are playing it with ways to either discount it Cost or get it into play early.

  • New Neutral Minion - Bunker Sergeant

    Pro

This could be decent against swarm decks, except most minions have more than 1 Health, so unless you've got some way to deal that extra damage this probably won't cut it in a Control deck. Now, if we're talking about using this in a Tempo deck to beat other Tempo decks, maybe you've got something there. Probably a bit too niche, but I could see it working.

  • New Ionia Card - Pathless Ancient

    A 2 mana 3/3 doesn't cut it but a 2 mana 4/3 is getting a lot closer to viability.

It most likely wont be played before 3-4 however and at that point a 2 mana 4/3 starts to become less releveant.

It's decent at it's job but not great
