This is pretty decent. Do we keep it in the mulligan for a one drop without any spell to benefit from it? I think so, it is still a decent minion even without spell cost reduction.
Ping Mage support? Early minion to help control the board for Big Spell Mage? Why not both? I like this card. We already know that free hero powers are powerful. Put one on a stick and add a freeze to it makes for something nice.
I think the Imp-credible Trousers is broken...literally. The Fel Rifts always appear on top of the deck, giving you two 3/3s the turn after you play any Fel spell. It seems impossible to deal with.
If Magister Dawngrasp is included in big spell mage, the arcane slot is going to be the one that you don't care about what is repeated. You will want to run this spell in that deck. It is also probable that you run Arcane Brilliance and Incanter's Flow as well. It still should be a an auto-include.
So this doesn't fit so much in the big spell archetype, but it does make questline mage a bit more reliable. Previously the hard part was finding enough minions to play your frost spells against. Now you have, not only a frost spell that doesn't need a target, but it also propagates itself giving fuel for the next stage, and it give you board presence. Not too shabby.
This is the card that makes Big Spell Mage viable. Without a card like this it will be too frustrating to have the fuel to make the deck work. Having this card makes it a much more consistent game plan.
I'm very much looking forward to playing this card. Big Spell Mage isn't going to run all the burn spells that we have associated with mage for the past little bit. Instead it is going to run the non targeted spells that will only benefit you. I think this will be plenty of fun.
This is an interesting card. It isn't quite a board clear as it does leave behind all the 1/1's, but it does guarantee that everything is reduced in power. Flamestrike obviously gives the traditional clear that you will want, but Mass Polymorph doesn't have to worry about the health being out of range or having a pesky deathrattle left behind afterwards.
I believe the cards are suppose to hinder/help your opponent. Unless using your opponents Hero Power disables it during their turn, this doesn't exactly match. I still think it's a good card, but I have previously had a card be disqualified because it only counted on a technicality, so you've been warned.
I don't think that was implied, but I guess it's open to interpretation.
This is basically an aggro matchup. Whoever goes first has a huge advantage, since removal -- especially mass removal -- is scarce. You also have many more murlocs with impactful effects nowadays (rush, battlecry for ping 1 or 2, etc.), so as long as you're on the board and are curving out, you will win.
So a Targons Peak list made it into the top 20. Yes really, now there are a lot of potential conclusions to be drawn from this.
Some are inevitable gonna be right and some will be wrong.
1. Targons Peak is an amazing tournament/ladder deck (wrong)
2. The deck creator teched his deck so well into the aggro meta that targons Peak performed well (correct)
So basically if you look at his list he includes every form of healing, area of effect, and frost bite availible to Freijord and Targon.
The idea being of course that if he can out survive every aggro player in the tournament long enough to get a 0 mana Asol after emptying his hand of control answers he will automatically win.
Turns out this was correct, aggro decks don't run removal, or card interaction or anything really.
They just go face, play things on board, and burn ocassionally.
So you slow roll Peak instead if high rolling it, you wait till you have like 4 cards to play it
Then you win.
So kinda goes into what I was saying all along, aggro isn't good, people just haven't been teching their decks appropriately into the meta.
Now do you need to run every single form of healing, frostbite, and aoe to win on ladder absolutely not, but it goes to show answers are availible to smart deck builders.
It's not too fast neighter it is too slow. It certainly is capable of making the recall arcetype more consistant and is really nice when draw as a multiple.
now this looks like really scarry unit for the likes of bladedance decks yet it doesn't have evasion and a deck using it will need something like Ghost to make it work.
For 4 mana it costs as much as a unit without protection these days may cost so... I am not 100% sure we will see this unit despite it being very powerful
I am so making a Kennen Recall deck as soon as I can... It will be awhile before I have three copies of Kennen, but maybe they'll give some free copies.. lol
New Mage Minion - Shivering Sorceress

Summon the same ally 5 times this game. Alright I am gonna build a Kennen blade dance deck, it will probably not be good but it should be fun.

New Bandle City Card - Rissu, The Silent Storm
The idea is cool but the storm cloud has too weird of a statline to be actually good imo so...
To me it's the typical cool but bad epic you get to see with every champion release
Kennen: New Bandle City & Ionia Champion Reveal - 4 New Runeterra Cards Revealed
I think some hearthstone plays will get quest rogue vibes right now.
This has not much to do with quest rogue but the condition.
I so far could see a recall blade dance archetype being a thing but let's see what ahri brings to the recall archetype first
New Bandle City Card - Thunder Fist
It looks solid to me.
It's not too fast neighter it is too slow. It certainly is capable of making the recall arcetype more consistant and is really nice when draw as a multiple.
Overall easy 4/5 stars
New Bandle City Champion - Kennen
Oh hi quest roque is it you again?
Why I have the feeling that the unit that gets summoned will end up being a blade token?

New Bandle City Spell - Lightning Rush
It's Mystic Shot added to a Recall for 1 extra mana.
I don't see this making sense outside of the recall archetype but inside it it sounds like a lot of value
