Obvious support for big Paladin. I dont know if I hope they get the tools to make it work or not. Added bonus of not only healing but getting some minions ready to play once you hit the mana for them. Plus, more minions in hand makes your buffs that much more effective.
I was playing Deathrattle Ress shadow priest in standard against a questline warrior. (The things this game makes me do in order to play a control deck...) I barely managed to hold on for the majority of the game, and managed to turn the game around into my favor despite The Juggernaut giving them lots of value. But then it happened, the questline warrior got Bulwark of Azzinoth from The Juggernaut 3 times IN A ROW, which helped them stabalize the board back into their favor. So right now you might think that this comment would better fit into the salt thread, but luckely not. Because i BARELY managed to win the game with only 1 health remaining! (And no armor) That was the closest game i've had in months!
I think this will become a commonly used card. It can help enable the heal requirement for Protect the Innocent and just overall give some good protection anytime a minion is on board.
This is one of the few cards in the set that I don't think are going to be played. Turn 5 play and then breaking it the next turn to get a minion down is tough. You would want a large minion that doesn't have a battlecry to miss out on. I just don't see this being worth it in big paladin.
I think it gets run. It might not often see full value in play, but I think it is good enough to help stabilize a board that the off chance of double minions is fine. Yes, two 5/5's on turn five is nuts, but just one is good. Two 5/5's on later turns when it is easier to combo the healing is still good.
For the sake of wild, I'm glad this isn't an odd cost card. Does paladin have a viable enough zoo type deck to make this good. How many minions do you need to summon off it to make it a worth while spell? You obviously don't play it on four, unless you are running a 'cute' deck. Do you run it in the questline deck to play in the mid to late game after the hero power is upgraded?
I think this will be plenty impactful. Depending on the prevalence of Paladin secrets, this could be critical draw for some of the new spells in the set. If you manage to draw Vitality Surge with it, it has suddenly become a 'thin your deck by two cards and gain health equal to the cost of a hopefully big minion that is now in hand'.
This is strong but I don't think it's as strong as everyone is making it to be like Triferian pointed out you only start getting the value on turn 5 and beyond ( Unless you cheat it with Mayor ) so that makes it to slow for the current Poppy decks. I think it will see play in midrange style deck with something like Yordle Smith
If it is connected to this expansion at all it is entirely possible we might get a void being here...it somewhat reminded me of Vel'Koz but he doesn't have an eye lid. It could be that I'm over thinking it though and it is just art to make him look impressive as he battles a massive beast.
I'm thinking this is just a tad slow to make the cut. If you need the healing that bad, it will be hard to maneuver the board to get that critical 2 health on the enemy side. I want it to work, I'm just not sure that it will.
I hope this works...it seems cool and I like the idea behind it. The issue is that I don't think this gives enough pay off for the cost of recall. You are paying a card in hand after all in order to send something back to your hand. This is so easy to disrupt as well since your opponent can wait to use removal only when you are about to return something to your hand. No slow speed removal sees consistent play other than thermogenic beam after all so they can easily just say "if you don't wanna bounce it back to hand then I won't shoot it with my mystic shot" or whatever. Anyway I have my doubts, but I like the concept none the less.
Holy cow, imagine this with just one tick from Blessing of Queens. This is a must keep in hand from the mulligan and you just watch the buffs roll in on it. Wow. I've never been much of a paladin player, but I might have to go back to craft some of the key legendaries to make this deck playable.
This is going to make Paladin a tough out if it gets to late game with any kind of meaningful health total. We already know Paladin has a decent amount of heal to use to sustain through the early game. I think they become the most viable control class with this card being included. We obviously preclude the inclusion of any other higher mana weapons. Without weapon hate, there should be no reason to use any other in the late game.
Recall is the obvious support for Kennen, but this also works well with tokens, like Sand Soldier, Spectral Rider, Spiderling, and Blade. Wonder if there'll be a deck to use him like this.
This has great synergy with Dancing Droplet make your elusive hit for 3 and recall it to draw 1. But I can't think of anything, else got to see the rest of the recall cards to decide if this worth using or not.

New Paladin Spell - Hold the Bridge
I think this will become a commonly used card. It can help enable the heal requirement for Protect the Innocent and just overall give some good protection anytime a minion is on board.
New Paladin Weapon - Cavalry Horn

New Demon Hunter Spell - Field of Strife
Useful for getting the board from opponent, if you manage to clear on the first turn and leave some tokens can be used as a finisher too
Kennen: New Bandle City & Ionia Champion Reveal - 4 New Runeterra Cards Revealed
Forget about Kennen: what is that giant Void monster he's fighting?!? D: Somebody call in the Doomslayer!
New Paladin Minion - Brasswing
I'm thinking this is just a tad slow to make the cut. If you need the healing that bad, it will be hard to maneuver the board to get that critical 2 health on the enemy side. I want it to work, I'm just not sure that it will.
Hearthstone's Upcoming Alterac Valley Faction War Legendary Questline Requires Over 300 Games to Get Golden Card Rewards
"Knowing that we're likely to encounter an even number of Alliance and Horde opponents"
Nope! I played about 10 games today and 9 of them was against Horde. The Horde Legys was just waaaay better it seems like.

New Bandle City Card - Grumbleslug
It's decent if get out of Bandle City Mayor but you probably don't main deck this.
New Paladin Hero - Lightforged Cariel

New Bandle City Card - Minion
On bright side, infinite value on the other hand it's a slow engine with below average stat line. SI has better cards for the Slay package.
I suppose it better for The Bandle Tree since Bandle City Mayor can discount it giving you a recurring cheap or even free chump blocker.

Recall is the obvious support for Kennen, but this also works well with tokens, like Sand Soldier, Spectral Rider, Spiderling, and Blade. Wonder if there'll be a deck to use him like this.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Warden of Chains
Can stop aggro, but by itself it doesn't have a good statline
New Demon Hunter Spell - Flanking Maneuver
Wow, very powerful card, not just in big demons but as a standalone card
New Bandle City Spell - Cloud Stance
This has great synergy with Dancing Droplet make your elusive hit for 3 and recall it to draw 1. But I can't think of anything, else got to see the rest of the recall cards to decide if this worth using or not.
