She only replaces minions, so the chaos is more controlled. The minions have reduced cost which means spells that guarantee to draw minions like Swindle or Shroud of Concealment will be better value-wise.
Its another one of those cards thats specifically designed for fun, which means any rating or review is fairly pointless. I will say though, that if Deck of Lunacy can be one of the scariest card in its lifetime, then this can as well.
But that's the issue isn't it. If it does get viable, it'll be immediately nerfed, because team5 understands that cards like these tend to divide opinion when it gets good. So the question would be: just why? Its not like rogue has crystalized in terms of variety, so where's that deathrattle support which Ive been clamoring for since the last expansion?
During the semifinals, Darroch and Jia mentioned that there would be an official announcement about the tournament structure for 2022 during the World Championship (December 18-19).
Speaking as a fan and viewer, I would love it if the following elements were included in official Hearthstone esports:
Integration of non-Standard modes: There are now 5 modes to play outside of constructed ladder: Arena, Battlegrounds, Classic, Mercenaries, and Wild. I think it would be interesting if at least some of these modes would show up regularly in top-tier tournaments. For example, during a Grandmaster season of 8 weeks, you could have 2 weeks dedicated to Battlegrounds or Arena. This would also be reflected in the World Championship (e.g. the first two rounds would be one of the modes used during Grandmasters).
Better synchronization between Masters Tour, set releases, and Grandmasters seasons: It looks like the game has settled to 3 sets and 3 mini-sets per year. There are also 6 Masters Tour tournaments per year -- what a coincidence! It would be great if each Masters Tour tournament would take place soon (1-2 weeks) after a release. That gives every fan the chance to see what the pros are doing with the new cards while everyone is trying to adapt to the new environment. Grandmasters seasons would occur after the Masters Tour for a 'big' set for those interested in seeing how that environment is evolving.
Fill out the dead months: Currently, there is a big 4-month period after Worlds where there is practically no high-level tournament (there is a Masters Tour in late January-early February, but that's it). To tie in my first two points, how about having a Grandmasters "off-season" that works differently from the rest of the year? It could be a team event, or dedicated to a non-Standard mode (or both!)
Arena: Considering that you have significantly more neutrals in your deck than in your average constructed deck and considering that neutrals are generally weaker than class cards, this is more than just a meme in arena. The synergy among those random minions isn't always there, but the same goes for arena in general, and the 2 mana discount on the minions is substantial. Not quite like the new Lady Prestor, but on a lucky day Cera'thine Fleetrunner could be just as strong.
Constructed: Will see play, but only as a meme and for the inevitable achievement.
Academic Espionage + Tess Greymane is sooo much better. I don't like the fact that it replaces all minions that should be crucial, be that in wild or in standart
I dusted my Call to Arms after they nerfed it, thinking I would never use such an Aggro-minded card. Never would have guessed it could work for bigger minions lol. I won't recraft them, but it's a cool idea nevertheless.
I really like how every hero so far does a million things on the Battlecry... except Bru'kan of the Elements. Every Hero Power is decribing a card worth between 2 and 3 mana and the Battlecry is, therefore worth 5-6 mana (maybe 1 more for the flexibility). Bru'kan looks the most balanced Hero of all so far. In fact, al three Hero cards for Shaman look very balanced yet flavorful in their own ways, which is good.
Bru'kan does millions things on the battlecry.
You can aoe the enemy minions, heal your board, deal damage to the enemy Hero, summon taunt minions... The flexibility of that card is really good.
Oh yes, he does, but not to the extent the other heroes do. Like I said, Bru'kan is the most balanced hero. Everything he does, he does well, but every other hero revealed so far (aside from Guff) does what Bru'kan does either better or cheaper.
When I say Bru'kan doesn't do a million things, it's not a criticism towards Bru'kan, it's a criticism towards every other hero revealed so far. Bru'kan is the good guy here.
Well, there's not really much of a card here to review, because its likely only ever played for memes.
I wonder whether this will yet again repeat the same problems Deck of Lunacy brought up next year when the cards are yet again thinned down after the set rotation. The key here is that the minions are from other classes, which means neutrals dont count, which also means the range of possibility is fairly small the higher up the mana you get.
Its weird how only rogue, mage and perhaps warlock, always seem to get these 'meme' cards as legendaries, when there are archetypes that currently require help. We had maestra the last time, and now this. Because a case can be made to print legendary support for deathrattle, shuffle, or maybe even pirate rogue but instead that one slot is taken over by a card which is specifically designed not to be competitive. I get that cards like these are meant solely for fun, but enjoyment can be gained from executing a niche, but competitively viable, gameplan as well.
It's a sequencing issue, because the battlecry resolves before you revert back to rogue. I'm pretty sure it does anyway; the animation for drawing cards with Stowaway (after using Wyrmrest Purifier) starts before Maestra appears to take away your mask. So there would be a chance that you'd transform minions into rogue ones if Cera'thine is the first rogue card you play. It sounds like each minion chooses its own class, so it would only affect 1 in every 9 of them, but that's still about 2 each game so it does matter.
It's like Deck of Lunacy but comes later and cheat less mana.
Maybe can fit in a Deathrathle deck to get some late fuel, the DR package looks midrangy and you can swing the game against any control deck that survive till late late game.
I fail to see how this affects Maestra. This is a Rogue card, as soon as you play it, the jig is up. (it changes Maestra, but I don't think the class swap is tied to the minion)
The wording is a little unclear by whether it changes class according to your hero's class, or by each card's class. Normally that wouldn't matter much, but with Maestra of the Masquerade being an obvious inclusion in the same deck, it is relevant.
Anyway, anti-synergy with Tess aside, it's nice to see them commit hard to a burgle card again. Lately their design philosophy has felt like it was backtracking the value generation of the Year of the Dragon a little too much, often at the expense of being able to have those games that HS has long been designed for: the ones that you actually tell stories about. That requires more cards like this, that nobody bothers to worry about how strong it is because it will never see meta play, but it will see an absolute ton of casual play. As @Jagu said below: it is an actual Hearthstone card, and let's hope there are more to come.
Edit: I also just looked at the art closely, and she's clearly a rogue since she decided the best way to 'capture' the Horde flag was to cheat the system by cutting off part of it and hoping that counts. Lol. I guess it explains how she's so fleet of foot.

This card looks like fun! Excited to play with it and see the laughs unfold.
New Rogue Minion - Cera'thine Fleetrunner
Meme fun card.
Same spirit as Deck of Lunacy but likely not as broken IMO. RNG Spells are better and the pool is smaller than RNG minions. It also costs 1 more.

Hate for this to be included in one of those achievements, when even I don't want to craft this.
