Hero Skins have been removed from Hearthdle Wild.

Same. Please just keep this to cards you can put in a deck. I thought it was broken when I had narrowed it down to a 0 Mana, 0 Attack, more than 0 Health, and Free card, until I decided to just try searching for one of the hero skins. What is the logic of the Hero Skins set being Wild only anyway? You can use all those hero skins in Standard as well.

I think it was an oversight. I think each day it just picks a random collectable card, and you can collect hero skins.

Edit: And I failed. Since I had no better idea than going down the list, it would've taken me around 40 guesses to get it right.

  • Hearthdle (Wild)

Not sure how I feel about hero skins being in this. There are so few hints that you are just randomly guessing once you know the class but something else is missing to narrow that down.

  • How and why are Hero portraits now in the database :D This was unguessable.

Aggro has been running rampant with the lack of board clears. DK can counter it but warr / druid might get hit when the first patch of nerfs come in.

Hey bananenparty, sorry for the delayed response.

The future of Out of Games is not AI written content as per our editorial standards.

Truthfully though, AI isn't going anywhere. I don't think that AI has any business writing for us, a communication medium should be by humans for humans. I can't trust what an AI writes; I can't even really trust what a human writes most of the time either lmao.

I didn't need to use a graphic, I did to add a bit of splash. Getting a human to make art, you'd be talking about a piece that would be hundreds of dollars to make and a multi-week process as there is back and forth and a waitlist to get art made. And even then, you might get swindled and someone just ends up using AI for most of it anyway these days - I've had that happen before.

AI is innovation though and it definitely is the next big change up for us humans. We are still so early on in the development, things are rapidly evolving and getting more optimized; These companies are betting on things getting more optimized because the current rate, sustainability is debatable. I see AI just as we saw the industrial and computing revolutions. I am excited to see where things head as long as I can still talk to humans and interact with humans without them relying on an AI to tell them how to communicate. That's my biggest fear, that we actually lose some humanity.

As far as the planet is concerned, AI so far has been useful to a degree, unlike Bitcoin. Bitcoin has dont nothing good for anyone other than allow people to launder money and trade illegal goods. Cryptocurrency is a true burden on the planet. Sure, someone making an AI reel/short with garbage nonsense isn't doing us any good, and one could argue the random pieces of fruit that are having ... relations ... on TikTok and Instagram is a debatable good use of the compute power (I'd argue if its just done for entertainment, its fine, we need entertainment).

And for the record, I'm not the biggest fan of all of it, but I sure will be seeing how tools can be used to improve productivity because at the end of the day, the world appears to be moving in this direction and if I'm left behind, I'm afraid of what that means for me being able to live and I don't want to be a fearmongerer, but I think everyone should be playing around with stuff, especially while there are generous free tiers available.

This was a bit of a weird place to talk about this, this would have been a topic better suited for the feedback realm, but I appreciate you opening the discussion and providing feedback even if we aren't perfectly aligned. I do want to reiterate though that AI-generated text has zero place here on Out of Games and we regularly ban people for using it. We have tools to help us write better headline and other search engine necessities, but everything you read in our articles is written by us for you and to my knowledge, I've used Gen AI for a single thumbnail on our articles and that was to make something splashy for our leveling system announcement - and then of course the Dle game thumbnails.

TL;DR: I am always pro-human, but I am also of the opinion that we can co-exist with our machine friends if care is taken.

  • WOW, so sorry, but they blocked YouTube links on this website. How do you expect people to make decks on here, LOL.

I am your only user dude.

  • If you want to skip through the leaderboards, it does it in steps of two when you skip back (today it shows even numbers, yesterday you could only see uneven numbers) and you can't skip forward.

@Fluxflashor An Out of Games game on Steam? That's certainly a thought to behold.

As for me, I finished Hotshot Racing.

And like... It's a good game, but there's so little content involved in it. The driving is really fun, the tracks are really cool, and the side modes are fun to mess around. But it's all pretty much over after 2 hours. The remaining game time was spent trying to grind to unlock and buy all of the character customization options, and it's very obvious that all of those things were only put there to justify the game's short length.

And now I've started yet another indie racer in my library. This one @Nirast recommended to me. It's an Outrun clone, but your car has a spin attack (ala Crash Bandicoot) to get other cars out of the way.

The OpenTTD community is also really pissed about the game no longer being free to get on Steam or GoG because Atari rereleased the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe, which is great... but then they had to be dicks and force the OpenTTD team to comply. It was probably either that or have to stop OpenTTD entirely, so I'm really glad there was at least some agreement possible, but it's still a really unfortunate situation. Unlike OpenRCT2, you don't need the original TTD assets to play OpenTTD, so being forced to have both is entirely unnecessary.

Well, not much progression in RV There Yet on the weekend as I expected to get, but I did manage to sneak a bit of WoW in last night (Midnight) to get a few weekly things done before today's weekly reset.

I've been keeping up with Pokedle and a bit of Hearthdle over in the Out of Games Arcade (these count, right?). I'm looking forward to launching an actual game through our Arcade portal. I'm not making any promises for a timeframe, but I do want to start a beta test in April to gather feedback.

For what it's worth, the philosophy behind the Arcade on Out of Games is that it will always be free to play. We might do beta tests with PRO members or if anything ends up releasing on Steam as a paid game, its possible the version on the website will instead be a browser-playable demo. That part I'm still trying to figure out, but really anything you see in Arcade, you won't need to pay to play.

It has been such a busy month so far with the website, so not a ton of gaming time still lol.

  • Site Update Notes - March 17, 2026

Added a few more updates that went out after this thread went up.

  • Nintedo Adds a Handheld Boost Mode to Switch Games Running on the Switch 2

This is SUCH a great move by Nintendo. I never even considered they could make the original games just think they were docked to get that performance boost that the dock gave them. There aren't many Switch 1 games that I'm still playing, but it will be a nice little treat should I revisit anything in the collection.

Saving notes to friends is a nice little quality of life thing too. Not that I have a ton of friends of my Switch because I just don't see the point unless you are actively playing games together, but it would be nice to write in a little reminder of why I'm friends with someone "random" lol.

  • Hearthdle (Standard)

I love all the innovation you bring, but why do you have to use ai graphics?!
Is this the future of oog? Will you let the next few articles be randomly generated as well?

AI is neither good for the planet nor good for our brains, it doesn't scream charme it screams capitalist boot-licking. Now, I know it's so easy to use and you have so much stuff to do that it fulfills a dire need, but your website is made from people for people, not by an algorithm for an algorithm. This is a massive turnoff for me and I really hope those are filler graphics.

  • Pokedle - Kanto

Added a Kanto only version due to requests. I can't say that we'll add Pokedles for all the generations, but who knows?

  • Since the first Daily was a

    shouldn't

their attack and durability be classified as attack and "health"?
I also went through the card library and saw that on every weapon page the durability says zero, while locations say "health" instead of "durability" so maybe there's a larger mistake to fix somewhere in the database…

Can't believe I still got it in four guesses ^^

  • What Are You Playing? - Majestic March 2026

@Demonxz95 Hilarious that people are using the February thread haha.

This month I've played a bit of World of Warcraft in both Midnight and Burning Crusade varieties. I've also had a solid session of "RV There Yet?" which is an incredible game and I hope I get to finish the first level tomorrow.

I'd love to get into Fire Red and Leaf Green, but Pokopia might call my name though. I've been much busier though with website things so less time for games!

  • Thanks for the explanation and correcting your expansion order :)
Looking forward to the dailies starting tmw!

Edit: And I just saw that you added a textbox if you hover of the expansion title! Great addition!
