I tried the rogue poison deck on the front page but it gets absolutely demolished by minions paladin. Is there a new minions paladin list floating around? i think the idea behind minions paladin is to get super lucky and topdeck insane tempo on every turn. seems pretty good as you just play the best shit on curve for 5 turns and then make people concede. sure is a hell of a lot better than a strategy where you have to make informed decisions and play smart.

There was no such time. The entire issue is that, if you are not a male, you don't have equal opportunity even when you're the best at playing. Also, you get shit on by troglodytes in any gaming space you choose to play just because you are not a male.
Like it says in the title, this is my crossover creation, bringing Legends of Runeterra's champions, Landmarks, and other cards to Hearthstone. Some will be rather literal translations, but many will be reinterpretations of what was originally presented. I've only just started today (4/20/2021), so bear with me :) Eventually it is my hope to make a "Runeterra x Hearthstone" expansion as well, moving Hearthstone characters to Runeterra.
A big thanks to Demonxz95 for his Legendaries of Runeterra Weekly Card Design Competition theme, which directly inspired me to expand the project beyond just my one Lissandra card. I started by writing down my general idea here, on this sticky note:
Champion placement is mostly gameplay-related, with the rest down to personal preference (like placing the three Freljord "sisters" in Shaman, or all three Ascended in Paladin). I chose to implement the Dual-class cards to make things more interesting, but I kept the original Scholomance combinations out of simplicity.
The Champions
I don't have the non-Legendaries created yet - let alone all the Legendaries in general - so I'm just gonna list what I have here for now and clean it up as I continue.
Landmarks
Landmarks have become a major part of Legends of Runeterra, so I felt I should at least try to implement them. Hearthcards has the unique "Locations" feature, so I figured why not utilize that? Landmark is a keyword, so I can mess with it via Taliyah and other cards. Hopefully this description makes sense:
Essentially, when you play a Landmark, it counts from 1 to 2 to 3 before it goes away, triggering each effect at the appropriate time. 1 is a Battlecry, 2 is at the start of your next turn, and 3 is at the start of the turn after that. For example, here's my sole Landmark so far, the Vaults of Helia:
(It's supposed to be a Warlock/DH card, but DH is not implemented for Locations so I had to make do.)
As the Vaults of Helia card progresses, it shuffles more and more Soul Fragments into your deck. Pretty straight-forward...at least I hope so.

As someone who's tried Lissandra out in a few different ways, I'd caution anyone against forming opinions from that one specific deck. It's actually extremely difficult to summon a Watcher without Ice Pillar or Matron shenanigans.
So in your logic, minorities and women should hide from public eye otherwise they deserve to be hated? You feel lucky living in Russia PROBABLY because you're not one of the minorities and could enjoy privileges at the expense of minorities. One well-established fact is that Russia makes life HELL for LGBT and ethic minorities. Minorities gain no representation in Russia not because there's no "political correctness bullshit", but because it's politically correct there to oppress minorities.

Baron Geddon became a cool card again, when he got the Elemental tag and DK Jaina gave him Lifesteal :)
I also rediscovered my appreciation for him when Toxic Arrow released and I finally had access to a (admittedly clunky) board clear ;D

The world is a complicated place with many dimensions. No single group of people universally "has it better". There will always be ups and downs in each persons life individually regardless of who they are. What those ups and downs look like will vary depending on many factors. No problem like this is ever black and white.
Concerning representation in the media, obviously we don't want to only see only one group of people all the time. Diversity is important. However, having diversity for no reason other than the ability to say "look at us, we support diversity!" is bad. This is called Tokenism, and it's not the same as actually supporting diversity.
That being said I think blizzard made a good move here. Something that I think a lot of people missed is that people don't get into this event by passing a test, blizzard decides who is invited and who isn't. If you are in the event it is because blizzard asked you to be, not because you have some kind of qualification. Blizzard picked some people and later realized that they were been biased in who they chose. So they changed their mind and decided to be more fair.
I am not talking about feminism as a whole, since as I mentioned that is a highly complicated subject with many layers and many factors to consider. But when it comes to the people blizzard chooses to participate in these events, women do not have equal representation. Saying that women don't have enough representation across all different forms of media is a controversial statement which is both hard to prove and disprove (like I said, there are a lot of layers to this). But just by looking at all of the people blizzard has asked to play in events in the past, it is irrefutable that they don't ask enough women to participate.
It is perfectly fine to only like certain streamers, and to not watch the event because your favorite one is not present. But consider this, Kripp is already a well established personality in the community, this would be just one more event for him, and would it be really that much "special" to see him in this for you than him streaming? Maybe, maybe not.
But another streamer might get a chance to shine and someone else might discover them and they could become their favorite streamer. Why not give a chance to "underdogs" on a platform like this? It is the perfect opportunity to do so. Kripp doing what he did actually supports this mindset, and if you like him, maybe you can consider seeing it from the other perspective too ;-)
This is definitely better, though the T-Hex himself ultimately just amounts to being an 8/8 with Taunt.
And I do still believe that you shouldn't use an existing set watermark. We're making cards for characters from another franchise, so having them located in an existing set doesn't feel right.

Link is right. I have never played League of Legends before. It seems that the ability is based on JudgementBADCARDNAME which happens to be Garen's champion spell, so it does fit the character.

I feel like Taric would say "Whenever a minion attacks this, set its Attack to 1". As Link pointed out, it does make him very difficult to remove with any type of minion combat.

Really nice flavor, but I concerned that this is basically just a Neutral hard removal on a 7 mana 7/7 with Taunt (and even better since it also effectively Silences the minion).

but every deck has hard counters. this is a system that has thrived in MTG for decades, tho i guess comparing this 2 games isnt exactly fair.
control warlock has a polarizing match spread. there are decks out there that can have a nicely even spread, even with one hard counter. thing is these best decks are either tempo hyper aggro or midrange. those are the ones that have a shot against most match ups from what im seeing.
u need to embrace all archetypes, not just the control variant, or else the game is gonna piss you off. i was once like that, only control always. i decided to play the others and i still enjoy the game.
yes control has a more precise feel to it. not just playing green cards thinking a bit before u play card and open your browser . but alas its what we have, we need to adapt or im afraid that u will never enjoy the game again.
Also, as you have stated, its not really a big deal for blizz to just break 2 extra slots. Yeah, that poster is going to look really weird, but they can do that. But if two streamers comes up and says they're taking a break, then its really blizz's call on this one, and evidently they made a choice to replace them with two female streamers. Its not about two women pushing two men off a cliff, its about two men stepping down and blizz replacing them with two women.
I think its more about the setup of the event, the format - can you add 2 more ppl to keep the structure flowing? - or the time requirement, adding 2 ppl could add half an hour to the event, or 2 hours, the time tables are relatively set, players have their own time tables they have to adhere to etc. Production has been figured out for this many players and this many matches etc.
Yes, everything can be adjusted, but probably not as easy last minute, as some might think. Maybe they simply accepted the offers from both Kripp and Regis and there wasnt really much need to add 2 more, if these two wanted to make way for someone else. I do not claim to know why it couldnt/wouldnt be 2 more instead of 2 replaced, but it for sure isnt as simple as "just add 2, done".
I have to say, Jia’s well-thought-out explanation (and the charts) helped me understand the problem in a more real way. Thanks for sharing them, and for working to make HS a positive community for all.
