I think its because there wasn't any hsreplay and hearthstone tournaments was at its infancy. You can only bring 4 decks, 3 very obvious candidates, and the last is usually freeze mage, midrange priest or druid. Its a bit like warrior in that there's absolutely playable lists out there, but is largely shadowed away from the big 4.
But for those who did, this was not a new style of shaman. Back in the day, it was known as midrange shaman. Feral spirit, flametongue totem on the early game, al'akir and doomhammer for the end. Looking at the midrange list here, the only difference was that windspeaker was in, lava burst was niche, and every shaman always fits in harvest golem.
I've always considered MtG the better game. and i still do. Doesnt mean im playing it, quiet the contrary, f2p model is something that needs to be balanced and yes LoR takes the cake there but then u need to compare other aspect as well.
At the end of the day HS is in a great spot specially for the last year or two even with the whole DH op thing and the tavern pass scandal. being able to adapt quickly and improve and coming up with new stuff is what makes a game great and HS is pulling out all the stops on that one.

I look forward to seeing news about concede shaman again. For those who might not had the pleasure, concede shaman was just two cards; Earth Elemental and Ancestral Spirit. Times have changed alot hasn't it?
As a matter of interest, how many medium profile non-male streamers are there right now? Players who aren't pretty much BG exclusive. So while we're excluding the likes of Slyssa and Sunglitters we'd also exclude Dog and Kripp.
In this sort of event I'd want to see less competetive (non grandmasters, so as much as I like Thijs...) constructed main players. Kibler has long been my favorite streamer and he is exactly the type these events need. I've not watched Allie in a while but she seems an ideal fit too.
In a game where we have no idea who or what is on thd other side it boggles my mind that people discriminate against the ladies. HS is gender neutral, so the community should be too.
Lvl 71 Tonight. All quest done. Nice with 20%boost and pass. I still think a month morer before i hit lvl 100. Do we have a reward track with how much xp needed from each lvl?

I'd greatly appreciate some quick feedback as I plan to submit soonish. I'm going with two cards to mirror Runeterra's Level Up mechanic. The Prince's effect is meant to capture Jarvan's great leadership as it is described in the lore:

What do you think? Is +2/+2 too much? I could make the Prince buff only Silver Hand Recruits if that is an issue, but I don't want to blatantly copy Level Up!. Is the alternative effect better?

For those who want to try it, NEVER take any card pool with holy spells, and if you can, add Sphere of Sapience for more consistency.
