yes theres a new minions paladin deck that doesnt rely on the secret package. its an aggro tempo based deck

yeah i wouldnt try poison rogue not to mention is basically a buff weapon ignore everything else and go face. i mean they even run cloack of shadows just so that they keep ignoring the match and keep going face, like its the most basic of aggro, in comparison face hunter takes a bit more skill to it at times

anyways, if u have the dust or cards i would say Rush Warrior. its not full on aggro, it has its nuances to learn, especially vs priest since its a bad matchup and it tramples over face hunter if played correctly. it has a very even spread matchup. try it out if u can.

I had an Interesting fight with a Lissandra/Trundle deck  a couple days ago. I was using a dragon centric, Shivana/Sol deck. I found it to be interesting fight. I managed to pull in a win, and she was unable to pull in her watcher. I think The Watcher is a strong card, but it can be countered by cards like Detain, and  the Obliterate ability.

I felt like climbing to legend last night. First tried some variations of APM Mage, but I lost about as much as I won. Then switched to this exact Handbuff Paladin and got there with an 87% winrate. 13 wins and 2 losses.

Should also try this exact APM Mage list. Running 1 Ice Block didn't improve my chances much, but 2 might just buy me enough time.

"Tempo mage" lol, guys thats not a tempo deck, its alot better than secret mage and you gotta cut the ice block and mysteries if you want to be optimal. Also pure murloc shaman is wayyy better than even right now.

Will you also post the best decks in each format, regardless of whether they have new cards or not, at some point in the future?

Does Lis need to be married to Trundle like Nat to Maokai? Because if nothing is changed that is what it will be which I guess is fine. Still Shadow has the ability to draw so many cards you will get what you need. Then again I’m playing a stall deck but I can push Maokai and Sol well enough to crush them. But Ramp with the draw, with being handed the win condition just seems like overkill. 

So I’ll do what I did when Hush was even more bullshit than it is now. Play it help boast the win rate up gotta get that thing to 55% before they will even consider a nerf

I never thought how these Championship players are selected. I believed best players get an invitation.

When I play Hearthstone, I do not care (and do not know) who my opponent is - male, female, other, young, old, black, white, green (yeah, I mean orc), nationality, nothing.

I only see if he plays smart or makes mistakes, if he plays slow or fast and of course I'm very salty when he gets a lucky discover.

So I am surprised. that players were not invited based on skill. But I'm not an esport guy.

I agree with OldManSanns, it's actually kind of sad because Lissandra can't really pair with any champion other than Trundle because the synergy is just so much better than anything else. SI also lets the deck copy the Watcher tons of times, which is when it starts to feel unfair.

Great idea, I think there's a lot of value in trying to translate aspects of a card into another card game and seeing how the differences between those games impact your design decisions. My one piece of advice is that you should probably make a "Level Up" keyword to shorten text. For example, an Ezreal level up would go from:

"Once you've targetted enemy minions 6 times this game, transform me into Level 2 Ezreal"

to

"Level Up: You've targetted 6 enemy minions"

I can see on Shyvana you actually ran into this problem and just wrote "transform" instead of the convention of "transform into X" due to space restrictions, so I think it would be a helpful keyword. There's already precedent in HS from Quests, so I think it would make sense to add this as a kewyord, especially if you want to make Legendaries that Level Up (I understand not all your legendaries will or should have a level up).

Which hero portrait will you be picking up this time around? Nightslayer Valeera was my previous pick. Most logical would be to choose another portrait that I am going to use (to reach 1000 wins for my remaining 4 classes) instead of one that stays in mint condition.

Mmm... Even tought I see this, I also see Kripp, 1 month into the expansion, not even streaming HS for 3-4 days anymore. Yeah, for those people still looking to get a streamer to follow and support it's awesome. But for me, follower from 7 years, and sub from 3-4, it's not as good because I don't enjoy his Path of Exile streams at all.

Also, I'm very hapy people like Avelline made the cut, she is smart, cute and a very good player. But Slyssa in special doesn't deserve to be in any other event because now straight guys will have an impossible chance in events, while Bloodyface will have a reserved spot since there aren't any trans streamers that I know of.

If 95% of content creators are male, I don't understand how 50% of the tournament participants should be female. Slyssa literally doesn't even play Constructed. She went in looking for money and destroyed the already hard dream of males trying to be known in the game while making it even easier (let's be honest, it's a lot easier already) to be female and be known by streaming.

I really like the way they are spreading out the opportunities for qualification. Should do a really good job of making sure the top 16 really are the best tournament players in their regions.

I feel like casual already fills this niche? You can play whatever you want on casuals since wins and losses don’t actually matter. You could argue people ruin it by only playing meta decks but the exact same thing could happen here. Except unlike casual mode, you might be forced to play a meta deck, which is the opposite of what you want from designing this game mode

I love how when someone brings up any concept that is unfamiliar it just gets crapped on in any forum you post it in.

Let's try this once more:

This would be a mode that takes very little installation to implement that would bring a lot of joy to people that actually want to play cards that they otherwise cannot without going 1 win for every 10 losses.

Even if this doesn't sound appealing to you it would be a godsend for thousands of players. In fact you don't even know if you'd like it or not because chances are you have never challenged a friend and borrowed a deck to play against itself. Try it, it's a lot of fun.

Imagine getting the chance to play a deck with unsung (but fun)  cards likeImmortal Prelate, Lucentbark, Emeriss, my personal favorite, Tess Greymane or any Quest that was never able to compete. Especially when it's unexpected what craziness you'll run into.

It's good to have diversity in the game. Sometimes Ranked, Battlegrounds, Arena and Brawls (definitely not Duels..) are not enough. This would be a fun mode to dip into and see what insanity insues.

It's pretty closed-minded to call naw on the idea of a new mode especially one as easy to make as this one. There's no doubt it'd be enjoyed. I feel a lot of the community are more obsessed with winning than in actually having a fun time playing the game and that... Is just sad.

Also, just to clinch the argument you and I are being ripped off by not being able to feasibly use these cards we loved or would love if they were more competitive. Mirror Mode would breathe new life into ALL cards.

Finally, Reno Hunter sucks so not a viable option to play Deathstalker Rexxar in but cute try to make me look dumb. (whoops it was on Reddit where that comment was made not here, haha)
