This card is absolutely insane on paper, but Demon Hunter doesn't really have any good class-specific targets at the moment. This card basically lives and dies by what good targets we get if any.
Yikes, this has the potential to be a problematic card. Thank goodness Coilfang Warlord is an 8-mana card...
I hope the devs print some playable deathrattle minions for this archetype. Right now, there aren't any good deathrattle minions that this can pull out that I'm aware of.
EDIT:
Okay, I checked the good deathrattle minions in standard that this can possibly pull, which are:
I haven't really checked the deathrattle pool, but a fairly-statted body with a tutor effect is nothing to sneeze at. Right now it might not see play, but if DH gets access to some wicked deathrattle cards in the future (whether neutral or class cards) this will be a staple for a new archetype.
Eh. Looks like a late-game bomb whose detonation isn't all that worth it, because employing a watch post strategy seems incredibly weird. I'll be pissed off if I unpack this as one of my legendaries.
Board clears with a body are almost always good, and Xyrella is a good one despite the healing condition. Priests have lots of cheap heals like Renew, Desperate Prayer, and those 1-mana heal-5 cards whose names I forget. Even playing this on turn 6 after healing yourself with the hero power is good enough to stymie some aggro decks.
In many cases this card will just deal 6 damage from 2 cards on board and that's pretty good as a win condition. Even in its unupgraded form, its still just Blessing of Might, which is already a decent card in of itself.
My point was just that I thought you didn't realise that you could attack face and still get the buffs. It's probably still a win-more card, but my thought process was that in an ideal world, in an Aggro/Enrage Warrior vs. Control matchup where the control player doesn't have the resources to fight for the board early on, they'll be relying on stalling until they can get a big board clear and swing the game. This card just makes stalling harder for the opponent, and it allows you to keep putting pressure while not committing more minions or spells (you improve your board state for "free" since it costs no resources). This way, after a big removal card, you can reconstruct the board with the cards in your hand. Again, this is the ideal scenario. Chances are it's just a win-more card.
I think the problem with these is that you are spending mana to do nothing until your opponent does. A meta in which these are playable will be board-centric, and if you get behind playing a 4/6 is going to get you to lose the game. Of course, you will have other minions, but these are dead draws otherwise. I also think that it is better to wait and see to make a decision, but given the current context of cards being printed, I think these cards are terrible. These could be released right now, and they would not have a lasting impact after the weekends.
Also, I think you have overrated Ogremancer, lol. I might have missed it, but I have not seen that guy pop in HSreplay or anywhere else before.
Edit: Thank you, TIL that Ogremancer wasn't packfiller.
It shouldn't be too difficult for Paladin to get some minions to stick via Divine Shield or general swarm ability, meaning this could easily represent a significant amount of damage in the mid-late game. In the early-mid game it can be paired pretty well with Animated Broomstick to provide intense board control.
Without taunt, this card is wholly reliant on Animated Broomstick to actually make an impact on board. Its usage will depend highly on whether watch posts make the cut, and while I think that it will, Kargal Battlescar might still not see any play.

It's obviously not enough, so for this archetype to work it needs more support/good deathrattle minions.
Eduquesa Reveals a New Forged in the Barrens Card - Kargal Battlescar
What an awesome mechanic. Great concept for something original with lots of potential to build upon in the future.
a lot of hate for something different that is not deemed immediate or reactive. T

Nine damage for 1 mana is fantastic. Paladin is the new Druid (or Shaman).

Should be good in a Tempo Warrior deck focused on medium Rush minions. This thing will enable Warrior to trade VERY favorable into token decks.
