The stat spread on this card make it useful in both constructed and arena play. The one thing I find interesting, not that it'll affect Druids all that much, is that Kodo's historically haven't been Beasts. So, if there are more serious Beast synergies incoming then any buffs would be lost the moment this card is damaged.
Again, I doubt this will be an issue. If you can get a second one on board from Menagerie Warden then you're golden.
The decission to allow selling of cards caused, that the cards could not be obtained by ingame currency only for real money (because otherwise would players make bot account to grind cards) which caused that the game was superexpensive.
Hey, the last two haven't been "useless freebies." Vargoth has been quite good in res priest at least, and Kael'thas had to be nerfed two separate times. Maybe Vol'jin ain't the best, but don't be talking bad about my boys from the past now.
So fine, the Durotar Grunt is fine to stay as a 2/4 because it's a class card, BUT at that point I would remove the text that has it grow when you reach 5 mana. It's one thing to argue for going beyond vanilla stats, and quite another to then also give it an up-side so it is way stronger than other 2-drops in the late game.
That's reasonable. I don't want to take out the upgrade though, so instead I'm thinking about making it cost 3 in its upgraded form.
I'm not going to budge on your over-statted neutral, Skeletal Orc Grunt, though.
I have a plan for this one that will hopefully make it more palatable.
By the way, I just remembered we already have a Goblin Sapper card (it's effect was a bit of a pun on how Sap works). We also already have DOOM!, Obsidian Statue and Spellbreaker, so those cards might want renaming.
Yeah, I did check for these, and it might be bias due to me not playing Wild, but I let it slide if the card wasn't in Standard. That said I'm sure I could come up with alternative names for them if I put my mind to it.
I personally take the opposite approach. Where I feel shurima is a very limiting region to play at the moment.
I was experimenting with running it with Ezreal or TF given all the card draw and draw fixing and I realized I just didn't have the necessary control tools.
I've seen people try to run it with Aphelios to do some meme stuff but it's arguable worse than what we already have.
Instead what you end up with is running regions like freijord and then splashing shurima for landmark synergy or running noxious for 5+ dmg support.
In that instance Shurima is just providing the champions more than anything else.
God that final fight was frustrating. What the hell is Frenzied Felwing doing in the deck? The opponent has no health, and even though you can attack him (good only for buffing Self-Sharpening Sword), you cannot discount the Felwing. Dead card.
New Neutral Minion - Spirit Healer
Seems meh, we'll have to see when more holy spells come out
New Shaman Spell - Chain Lightning (Rank 1)
Good spell damage support and early removal vs aggro
New Neutral Minion - Razormane Raider
Amazing arena card, will pick this :)
New Hunter Minion - Sunscale Raptor
Premium dire mole, will run this in my hunter decks 100%
New Neutral Minion - Blademaster Samuro
This card is really good, I can see it run in enrage warrior or priest with the lifesteal buff
New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
The stat spread on this card make it useful in both constructed and arena play. New Warlock Spell - Imp Swarm (Rank 1)
it seems ok, maybe an arena filler card? But I don't know about standard
New Priest Spell - Desperate Prayer
Auctioneer fodder, or auchenai otk maybe?
New Shaman Minion - Bru'kan
3+ spell damage is nuts, people will probably find some fun otk combo
New Neutral Minion - Peon
Seems like it might be run in decks like highlander hunter or maybe aggro decks aswell
New Neutral Minion - Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
Having a lot of fun with this in duel/big paladin! I think he'll be a fun staple of the meta as it's like a reverse dirty rat
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Vectus

New Druid Minion - Druid of the Plains
This card is gonna be super nuts in arena and duels too
Vol'jin Demon Hunter and Warlock Budget Decklists & Guide - Hearthstone Budget Deck Breakdown
I feel we need more Recurring Villain memes for sule's sake 😅
New Neutral Minion - Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
Hey, the last two haven't been "useless freebies." Vargoth has been quite good in res priest at least, and Kael'thas had to be nerfed two separate times. Maybe Vol'jin ain't the best, but don't be talking bad about my boys from the past now.
Hot Take - Shurima Needs Expansion Support
You can also use ritual of negation or remove the dreadway with cards like vengeance will of Ionia or concerted strike.
'Warcraft III'-themed Expansion
That's reasonable. I don't want to take out the upgrade though, so instead I'm thinking about making it cost 3 in its upgraded form.

New Neutral Minion - Peon
As mainly an arena player, would probably draft this without thinking twice
New Neutral Minion - Shadow Hunter Vol'jin
I'm having fun with Warlock Vol'jin, may not be the best card from a competitive standpoint, but as a card to just mess around with it's pretty fun.
Hot Take - Shurima Needs Expansion Support
Sure they can do their 9 mana shenenigans that aren't even guranteed... if they survived the 10 attacks phases before they earned it ^^
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Nope.
Riot must be hurting for money

Yeah it was pretty clear during the card reveal that Demacia was going to be insane.
Then on the top end you have carina/ledros control back in style.
Because you concurrent time lines into ledros and transform him into dreadway for otk.
Its basically the if I have 9 mana I win deck unless you have deny or hush.
