I've been playing Titans cards in Duels a lot and I gotta say, that Steamcleaner is going to be a necessary ETC target with those plagues that DK puts into your deck... they are ruthless in the long game
I won't be able to do this during this expansion cycle if I get unlucky, but I really want to try every Titan. I really love their design. Even if some are more usable than others. Having opened my 9 free packs, I got the rogue one so that is one less to worry about.
Algalon the Observer (because new Hero Power, see "rest of the game") and Flame Behemoth(Really enjoyed Magnetic during Boomsday and I think this will stick on me)
And for last, Loken, Jailer of Yogg-Saron. He seems cool and able to help a new control warlock (wich I love) to work.
About a new meta tyrant I hope Death Knight and Warrior do not become that so they do not get nerfed. Really like what they are going for this expansion. But I can't make any prediction right now. I think lots of cards have great potential.
The only brawl everyone wanted to play at my fireside gathering (TITAN deck recipes) would NOT even work because of some "error" that would freeze one player in character select.
Another shot in the foot for Blizzard to entrust their dying community with these events
Against those pesky Pirate Warriors, Muck Hunters are, in my experience, completely insane.
More wacky permutations are already forming in my head! Like unleashing Leeroy Jenkins's Bittertide Hydras, Fel Reavers, and Mortuary Machines slope in a full-scale assault!:D If the opponent's health goes to zero, then who cares about those drawbacks?!
This is a great point, the wild update represents a huge change to how we see Twist as players' collections are subject to change drastically, which is almost unheard of for wild cards. It wouldn't make sense to just do it for TITANS hype seeing as this will be the only skipped month; we will see both a new expansion and new Twist format once December rolls around.
I have an idea for Hunter myself, albeit for the Wild format.
Basically I want to use the powerful effects of Aggramar, the Avenger in combo with the infinite value of Stormhammer, sadly there's a bit of antisynergy but it can easily be circumvented by playing the weapon after the battlecry of the Titan resolves.
Given Stormhammer's dependancy on dragons I get to try the new cards you mentioned (Starlight Whelp, Time-Lost Protodrake) and I also get an excuse to put the old greed card Kazakusan in it. Maybe later I'll create an actual decklist on the website for everyone to try out.
I got that bundle too! Went almost F2P since I moved to Europe from Argentina because of currency exchange and not being able to work here legally yet (just paying the Tavernpass) but I could not resist that kind of deal.
Was having the same question but I did not dare to ask. Thanks!
Yeah, it did not bother when he started, I even found him really passionate about trying to get a conversation going as something good. But it started to get pretty intense in the end.
I saw it too, that is quite the bargain! Remember last expansion (or was it the one before that?) when Standard packs mistakenly had very generous rates of containing the Signature cards?
It's nice to see some hype and hopefully this will bump the thread!
I mainly play off-meta Hunter brews and am not sure the Titans class cards will move the needle much for me personally...other than throwing Aggramar, the Avenger in everything to start the season, haha. However, they've given us a lot of tools lately (e.g., Hollow Hound, Star Power) so I'm happy that fans of Face Hunter and secret synergies got some love.
Watcher of the Sun - Fits the theme of my current casino spell Hunter and the healing could be useful if they nerf Hollow Hound at some point
Algalon the Observer - I enjoy value / control decks, so swapping out an aggressive HP for something that can help you stall until the late game is appealing
Lastly, I'm looking forward to a buff to Prison of Yogg-Saron (trying to wish it into existence, haha) - Yogg and Reno are all-time favorites (e.g., played different versions of Reno Quest Hunter for most of the previous year) so I was looking forward to building around Yogg all season. Unfortunately, the current iteration doesn't hit the Yogg power fantasy, imo, and I'm hoping they give it a slight buff. For example, what if it would cast 1 extra (random) spell for each spell you've already cast that turn so that you could dial up the Yoggness?
May Yogg be with you all for all of your pack openings!
Just a heads up everyone: there is currently an offering in the in-game shop for 5 Standard packs for 99 cents. I went F2P a couple years ago and haven't looked back, but went into the shop today out of curiosity. Since I had some free Google Play money, this felt worth it.
Hoo boy, this is kinda silly, especially since it lasts multiple turns. And Paladin has a really good mech reload with Radar Detector still, chances they'll slam board after board with this.
You're never playing this as-is obviously, it's functionally a buff spell that's not a spell. 2 mana for a 3/1 and Rush isn't really tickling my fancy.

I am way too exited I think.

Then I want to try plagues with Helya, also Jotun, the Eternal, Odyn, Prime Designate (love "For the rest of the game" effects and how they wrap the whole match)
Algalon the Observer (because new Hero Power, see "rest of the game") and Flame Behemoth(Really enjoyed Magnetic during Boomsday and I think this will stick on me)

New Neutral Minion - Watcher of the Sun

Quest Trading - Play A Friend!
Battletag: Chillstyler#2147
Region: EU
Trade Only?: Yes, you go first!
5 Standard packs for a dollar?
I got that bundle too! Went almost F2P since I moved to Europe from Argentina because of currency exchange and not being able to work here legally yet (just paying the Tavernpass) but I could not resist that kind of deal.
Did Nifty actually get banned?

New Neutral Minion - Runefueled Golem
1 of in all of my Thief Rogues because better than the two alternatives

The archetype I'm most looking forward to trying is Mechrattle Hunter with Ravenous Kraken (+ Yelling Yodeler, Defense Attorney Nathanos) triggering discounted Containment Units, Mecha-Leaper, and the classic Mothership. Flame Behemoth also looks like a fun card for that deck.
In terms of Neutrals, the cards I'm most hyped for are:
May Yogg be with you all for all of your pack openings!
New Neutral Minion - Runefueled Golem
Lots of potential Windfury combos.
New Neutral Minion - Fate Splitter
Useful for copying self-AOE spells?
New Priest Spell - Serenity
Great, but watch out for eggs.

New Paladin Minion - X-21 Repairbot
Oh hi Mech Paladin, nice to see you pop into standard every once in a while.
New Paladin Spell - Inventor's Aura
Hoo boy, this is kinda silly, especially since it lasts multiple turns. And Paladin has a really good mech reload with Radar Detector still, chances they'll slam board after board with this.
