  • Shamans Can Now Use Their Hero Power If They Already Control All Four Basic Totems

Keep in mind that you can instantly get all 4 totems with Totemic Evidence. Before you would need to hit the button before playing this card in order to get 5 totems. Now you can do it either way. Just a little help to avoid misplays.

Felt bad farming all the new players in this TB (new players coz they only used basic/classic cards and actually played minions)

With all the totem support in the past few expansions, I'm glad Blizzard finally made this fix, better late than never

Oh my god, is that the one where you'd always have to jump across roofs and pits and you had to time it perfectly or you'd fall? That was brutal to 4-6 year old me.

Doesn't happen often  your totems stay alive long enough. It's a nice change though. Would have been a more interesting change if it would have been a RANDOM totem instead of a 5th basic one. After all you needed 8 mana to get them all four out.

    Imagine...lol

Or the disney genesis platformers, which is astonishingly well animated and so difficult you'll never guess it was mickey mouse fucking with you.

I played (and failed at) Aladdin when I was a kid. Good times.

One of these days I might have to make my own Retrospective about Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete for the PS1. They left a major impression on me when I was younger.

  • Suggested Decks for the Current Standard Meta

I've been messing around in Masters over the past few days (around 150-200 LP) and I just thought it might be helpful for others to know what seems pretty good right now, for my taste.

    1. Scouts - this really destroys some of the decks that rely on certain units, because of the many ways to apply challenger. And, of course, challenger works really, really well with Miss Fortune.

    2. Targon Elusives, ft. Teemo - this one can highroll pretty well, but man do you have to count out your damage carefully. There is high potential to just get overrun by your opponent before you can piece together enough elusive damage. And removal decks absolutely wreck you, if you're playing this deck. Side note - Teemo is literally just a 1-drop elusive in this deck, nothing more.

    3. Kennen Jinx - This one seems strong when I've played against it, but I haven't tried it yet myself. Relies heavily on flooding the board and then burning out the opponent. Any significant lifesteal will defeat this deck almost instantly.

Maybe it's removable, so she can put on a different arm when she needs to do daily tasks. But you'd never see that in the game, since the game is all about fighting (I assume).

A shame, because that game was actually quite popular when it first came out, owing to its IP and lauded digitalized graphics, sort of like rotoscoping.

To be fair to batman forever, it wasn't that bad a game. For a genesis game it was fairly complex with lots of weapon types, but implemented with button inputs like street fighter. I just happen to think the animation is funny as hell.

Oh well, if youre on for good retro games, perhaps the ducktales series would be up? That's one practically any 90s kid would recognize and played. Or the disney genesis platformers, which is astonishingly well animated and so difficult you'll never guess it was mickey mouse fucking with you.

  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - How The Sequel Put The Blue Furball On The Map

In regards to your comment on Batman Forever, I'm not really sure if we'd ever cover 'bad' games on this series. Of course, how good a game is varies from person to person in many different ways, but it's fairly uncommon for games to be iconic and worth remembering back of their lack of quality rather than their actual quality. It might happen one day by some of us as either a joke or as a means as comparison to a relevant flop, but just in general, covering games that are iconic for being bad games feels very counterintuitive to the goal of the series.

  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - How The Sequel Put The Blue Furball On The Map

Sonic 2 is fine, sonic 3 however requires you to have all the emeralds to get the real ending, and that's far greater a difficulty than sonic 2 ever was. I dont think Ive ever made it without cheats, but then again the sonic game franchise is something Im only willing to waste my time with in my youth, when I have less games and more time to burn.

I think my initial comment from your first post on sonic 1 still applies. At the end sonic 2 & 3 are good 'sonic games' but nevertheless remains a poor game in general. There are better platformers out there in the genesis age than these two.

Praying that your next article would be on batman forever. Now that's a game that's worth playing even today, because its so bad its good. Even today I cant go through the game without laughing at every corner.

  • Shamans Can Now Use Their Hero Power If They Already Control All Four Basic Totems

Even Shaman probably runs into this more just because you’re smashing that 1 mana button every time.  But the deck also has other minions to play, and other ways they generate the same totems.

It is weird when you consider Chisel didn’t care what basic totems were already on board.  And playing Odd Shaman you could summon the same totem every time with the upgraded hero power.

  • Shamans Can Now Use Their Hero Power If They Already Control All Four Basic Totems

I'm not sure I ever saw any of my totems survive long enough for this to come up. Though cards like Totem Goliath exist, and I'm guessing the game didn't care how the totems were summoned. Still, the change seems like a good a idea no matter how rarely it would be relevant.

  • Shamans Can Now Use Their Hero Power If They Already Control All Four Basic Totems

Great!  Now make it so the fifth totem summoned is the spell damage totem!

  • Shamans Can Now Use Their Hero Power If They Already Control All Four Basic Totems

Always felt dumb and needlessly restrictive, glad to see it fixed!

  • The Epic Store Games for the Week Are Here - Claim Homeworld Remastered Collection and Severed Steel Until Next Thursday

Severed Steel's gameplay embraces what I always considered a weird design choice with Samus' power armor: her one hand/arm is completely taken up by her signature blaster/missile launcher. That must be a huge pain in the ass to both wield and to accomplish other things like typing at a console.

  • Shamans Can Now Use Their Hero Power If They Already Control All Four Basic Totems

I think a core reason why this restriction was in place was because the foundation of Shaman totems in WoW.  If you had a Stoneclaw Totem in play, you couldn't summon a second one with the original one still in play.

Given that Hearthstone has migrated away from the basics of WoW and into it's own realm, this change is appropriate and needed.  Having this hero power stopped because you have summoned all the totems puts a hindrance on Shaman as a whole.  With all other classes that summon a minion, unless there is no room left on your side of the board, you are able to activate it.

I purchased the Tavern Pass for the Titans ... and I got the pass for the previous expansion !!!***@@@@!!

The latest Tavern Pass always becomes available when the new expansion launches, so it should not even be possible to purchase the new Titans Tavern Pass before August 1st. I always buy these on expansion launch day, to not miss out on any bonus XP and goodies.

Perhaps they are willing to refund this honest mistake.
