  • Everyone's Favourite Space Spreadsheet Game is Getting a Board Game - EVE Online

Why the hell is such a big company still using kickstarter? Are they so afraid to release a board game from a well known video game. Plus every fan of space themed board games will buy this

Hah, do I. Yes, I do! So, from UT99's soundtrack, a song I rarely see put in the big OST videos since I believe it comes from a map added much later in the game is Isotoxin. I'd suggest looking further into all the artists that worked on every UT track you can find, there's lots of good stuff to find.

Additionally, there's the soundtrack of Unreal, the predecessor to UT99. I'd describe it as... the soundtrack of UT outside of a night club. Definitely a very similar vibe, just a lot more chilled out. Here's All Hallows Sunset, for example.

Something I've found very recently that I've listened to enough it has entered "My Mix" on YouTube is the remastered version of the Deus Ex soundtrack, which was composed (and remastered) by the same folks who did UT99! Here's the song Conspiracy Theory (Versalife and Majestic 12) off the remastered album and here's the OG version of Versalife for you to choose which version you like best, although I think both are great in their own way!

As a random bonus, I've also recently found the soundtrack to Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2, which I used to play like an animal in the early 2000s. It's definitely not UT's genre, but if you did play NFSHP2, you'll find it just as nostalgic. It actually works pretty well for IRL driving as well, I've found: NFSHP2 OST

I spend countless hours in UT2003 (OG and 2004 too to a lesser degree) but I never realised that you can have more than 2 teams!

Clear terms and expectations can prevent misunderstandings crossover grid and conflicts down the line, fostering a positive landlord-tenant relationship.

  • Loken + Fanottem is just Hilarious (Control Warlock)

    Quote From DragonDraena

I just played against a similar deck, and I used a fully infused Sylvanas to steal Sargeras.

When I used one of his available abilities, the pair of 6/6 minions appeared on my opponent's board - yikes!

Is that how all stolen Titans work, or just Sargeras because of the portal?

Yes, without portal you cant do anything with sargeras, quite literally since he cant attack until he exhaust all his abilities.

Its funny, because if your opponent plays sargeras and spawns a portal, and you steal it, all abilities used by the stolen sargeras goes directly to your opponent's portal. Meaning, its actually detrimental to steal sargeras unless you want a board clear.

What a throwback. These fast old games still have my whole heart. Unreal Tournament, Quake, Sauerbraten, et cetera. Even games like TF2, without the speed aspect. You're spot-on about music being a neglected part of multiplayer experiences nowadays. In my limited experience, I can only think of Rocket League, which isn't quite the same since the OST varies. Dedicated music still has a place in brawl games and MMOs, at least.

Speaking of music, this soundtrack is pure 90s gold. Thank you for introducing my ears. Little echoes of Moby, SSX, all these bits connecting together as I listen. D'you have any other soundtrack suggestions? New Spotify playlist idea unlocked.

  • Animate Dead hates everyone

Unless you can prove it over a large sample size, it'll all sound like tin foil hat stuff to me.

Im taking that youre playing the priest deck in tavern brawl. Otherwise, why even bother with Animate Dead, or in fact, Astral Automaton at all. Ive read from reddit that Storm Giant builds are simply better.

  • Is there any way to build Blood DK so that it counters control/copy Priest? Any Tech Cards?

Unfortunately no. Control priest is favored against any control deck that doesn't feature a convincing win con, because they practically have infinite value.

You can theoretically build against control priest, but you'll need to sacrifice some early game for greed. The usual strategy is to have Rivendare, Warrider in your ETC and put Obliterate in your deck so you can rid it yourself.

Put more draw in your deck instead of discover, which will help get that rivendare quickly. Helps with the win con too.

Just be aware that amanthul can poof deathrattles away, so you'd probably want to have more ways to kill your own stuff.

But at the end, theres a good reason why blood DK cant beat control priest and thats because focusing on beating it makes you vulnerable to other decks. Most blood DK players more or less accept that they're going to auto concede against priest.

Holy balls, used to be my game of choice back in the day.

  • New Neutral Minion - Watcher of the Sun

I've tested it on a slow control priest deck and... Feels good to play, holy spells usually fits on that archetype, but Inventor's Aura makes me cry a lot.

That card have all the things that you want on a control priest deck: self healing, value and a little body to deal on early.

  • What Are You Playing? August 2023

Personally I had a rough start of July, but then I have been getting a lot of free time this days. Played Hearthstone and Pokemon Masters EX during this whole time.

Tears of the Kingdom/Advance Wars Reboot Camp/Pokemon Scarlet/The Messenger have taken most of my free time during the start on my switch as I was away in a long trip and could not get to play on my PC. Also played more pixcross than I would like to admit on my weaker laptop as well as Pirates of the Caribean at worlds end, Mini Metro and Motorways with their new maps.

Then when I got my hands on my PC I started tackling my backlog. One Piece Pirate Warriors 4, Warhammer Vermintide 2, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas - The Definitive Edition (Still not finished with this one), Borderlands 3 1st season of DLCs, Mother Russia Bleeds, and some DLCs I was still not playing from Total War Rome 2 and Attila as well as Finishing my first campaign of Total War Rome Remastered and Barbarian Invasion.

Also took a bit of a nostalgia trip to Black Ops 2 Multiplayer for around 2 hours.

With a bit of luck I will get access to Payday 3's closed beta and that will be what I will be doing during the weekend other than work.

Wanted to try getting diamond at least with blood dk but Control priest was one of the main problems.

Copy priest decks are so fucking dumb they endless amounts of copying, making it so they just beat any control deck without a hard win condition.

    Are there any counters?

  • Animate Dead hates everyone

Has anyone else noticed that, given the choice between Astral Automaton and Celestial Projectionist, Animate Dead always resurrects the Projectionist? I've played a handful of games now both as and against Automaton Priest, and this is what I've found. Not exactly optimal, is it?

  • YuGiOh Deckbuilder

Hello there, hope everyone is having a great day. I have a feature to suggest, as titled:

    • Can there be a deckbuilder page related to YuGiOh?

I have been playing YuGiOh - Master Duel since January 2023 and decided I would like to share my brilliant ideas here, especially with Treasure Panda. It might attract influx to the website because other YuGiOh related websites have crappy UI when it comes to deckbuilding and sharing, which can be a good consideration to add a "Deckbuilder" section within YuGiOh. I mean, even copying one from Hearthstone in this website and calling it a day should work like a charm to me because editing guide UI after picking cards within deckbuilder is perfect that no website can match to be honest.

I hope it will be considered to be added because we have deckbuilder of these games in Out of Games, so why not for YuGiOh as well:

    • Hearthstone
    • Runeterra
    • Mythgard
    • Marvel Snap

Thanks for reading and have a good day everyone.

  • Blizzard Details Diablo 4's New 1.1.1 Patch Arriving on August 8

Fixed an issue where Tusked Charger enemies could still damage the player after dying.

I have died to this bug so many times, glad it's finally fixed.

Overall a big W patch but tbh, 1.1.0 was the worst patch in all ARPG history so I guess they cancel each other out🙃

D4 still isn't in the clear. They didn't address the off screen kills (especially that bloody Corpse Bow) and on death effects aside from Death Pulse.

Also didn't they say in the live stream that they were getting rid of certain Nightmare Dungeon affixes like Cold Enchant and Resource Burn?

Edit: The following information is missing above:

The following Nightmare Dungeon affixes have been removed:

    • Resource Burn
    • Backstabbers
    • Empowered Elites (Cold Enchanted)

Link, after getting to read all your Baldgur's Gate content, it makes me want to check it out (would be my first BG game) but I have no idea if I'll actually have the time considering there is a million other things to do outside of playing games. Maybe one day when it goes on sale...

In my totally-unbiased opinion, I think you should drop everything you're doing and buy it. Once you, our glorious leader, have seen firsthand how amazing it is, we can work together to overhaul Out of Games into its true purpose: being the best Baldur's Gate wiki it can be! XD

No but seriously, the hope/expectation(?) is that BG3 will be the finest cRPG of this generation, so if you have any interest in Dungeons & Dragons - or just turn-based RPGs in general - this game should be worth the look. You don't need to play the first two games; they're from so long ago, I wouldn't judge anybody for not going out of their way to access them. Just think: BG3 is based on D&D 5th Edition, while the original two use 2nd Edition, first published in 1989. Watch a summary video on YouTube if you feel the need lol.

Overhaul  Out  of  Games?!?!?!  We  won't  tolerate  a  coup.  There  will  be  a  Riot!

Jokes  aside  (and  to  return  to  the  thread's  purpose),  I'll  delve - for  the  millionth  time - into  Rome  2: Total  War  and  I'll  also  try  Resident  Evil:  Revelations  2.  A  frined  convinced  me  to  have  a  look  at  its  Raid  Mode.  Neither  of  them  are  new  games  but  the  fun  factor  is  guaranteed  (with  Total  War,  at  least)

  • TITANS Recipe!

I also was paying attention... Festival of legends released April 11 and recipe brawl was April 12 https://outof.games/hearthstone/tavern-brawls/152-a-festival-of-legends-deck-recipe

I'm pretty sure they've always been at least one week late. I've been keeping an eye out for that for the last year and a half at least.

  • TITANS Recipe!

I must say, this release period was highly coordinated - new expansion release as we change to a new month/season/season pass - and now the recipe trials being available on day 2 ; it is all greatly appreciated
