lol, just got to legend again with this Galakrond Warlock today. I wasted almost all Evolve Shamans on the way, but probably some of them were less experienced with that deck.
I would still like to see some kind of nerf to that Shaman deck though. Most probably hit Boggspine Knuckles hard.
I'm only playing in casual to complete achievements. I feel it's the worst game mode so far. While the idea is nice, the matches get really long and changing. And they are mostly playing the same.
At least arena has variability in the card choosing.
2/3 taunt is above par for 2 slot Fallen Sun Cleric is gr8 4 it's cost, played it a lot Zealot is powerful, Pure > Libroom Good buff+cycle already proven problematic, Pally has good buffs btw Secret Mage works fine w/o Conjurer & 8/8 on turn 5 is proven strong esp on 2 bodies Foxy -1 ATK than vanilla doesn't make up a turn only 2 mana gain Rotating soon not a point, Brann shows it perfectly, secret hunter's underplayed in wild Phase Stalker strong since release, keeps face hunter tier 1 end of season Libram is core to trading up in midgame and outvaluing lategame, designed 4 recycle 3/2 divine shield is a good card on 3, and spellburst added b/c class exclusive Warblades nerf pushed Tempo DH to Aggro which Hunter already overpopulates Thanks for the criticism, hard to read though.
Anyone else sitting on packs waiting for this? I already unpacked or crafted most of what I want from Darkmoon Faire, so my 12 packs or so from special quests (plus the warrior pack from Garrosh's story) are going to net me most of the mini-set, I hope.
I´m sitting on 30 DMF packs atm, plus the one warrior pack. Someone said having around 30 should be enough for all the commons and rares, so I should be fine.

I've also lost several games due to running out of time and having an important minion left in my hand, or positioning horribly. But at the same time, there are turns where you level and buy the perfect minion and you have 60 seconds left... So I simply blame myself for not being fast enough (and I'm not trying to do anything near the stuff that Dog does with Khadgar shenanigans!) and try to adopt a 90%-approach: sometimes making a suboptimal optimal decision in turns where I feel time is short to buy myself some seconds, so at least I can finish my turn.
I can't count the times I've lost because of my turn timer since the patch. Just now, i lost the final match, with a 160/154 golden Whirling Cyclone in hand, and the message "too late, your turn is over" on my screen.
I honestly don't get why so many players gets tilted over the Dread Corsair issue when its obviously only a problem when they cheat mana and get the weapon online on turn 2-3. At turn 5, and with shaman's early game being largely nonexistent, in most cases many decks can deal with one random 5 drop, even 2 wouldn't exactly be too much.
I agree with setting Hoard Pillager to a deathrattle. A smart way of denying shaman its bs reload value while maintaining the essential power of the card for other decks.
I liked a proposal for Boggspine Knuckles which I saw on the forums: rather than making the effect a battlecry (which would just make the card unplayable) make it a Battlecry and Deathrattle. This would keep the value of the card as it is, but it would hinder the reload effect of Hoard Pillager
Agree it's the combo with Hoard Pillager that makes it as bad as it is now.
I liked the info on the process but I've said it before and I stand by my comment... Magara needs a belt or some sort of color along the center of that outfit. I spent way too long thinking this was a dress.
I agree that this should be their first attempt. It would also prevent 0-Cost Dread Corsairs being played alongside it, which is a huge deal tempo-wise. Changing the effect to Battlecry or Deathrattle would just kill the card, as would a mana cost increase, although I personally would mind since I hate the evolve strategy.
Changing Hoard Pillager's effect to Deathrattle also sounds like a smart nerf that Bomb Warriors could've also used in the previous meta. It's also more flavorful that way: she hoards the goods until she's forced to give them up. But I'm ok with just Boggspine nerf (at least for now).
I'm definitely expecting it to arrive in a couple of weeks as well, at the same time when the Duels update is supposed to happen. No official word about it yet but Blizz employees are just returning from holidays.
You haven't seen such a strategy because it is by design inconsiatsnt and has many flaws.
Why would you go the noxus route with survival skills if you instead could go with demacia For Demacia! going wide. Noxus isn't good at going wide and especially not going wide and big at the same time a deck like you have in mind would need several turns to build such a board and if you use survival skills on turn 8 its not that great anymore (especially if your opponent answers it with a ruination)

Secret Mage works fine w/o Conjurer & 8/8 on turn 5 is proven strong esp on 2 bodies
Foxy -1 ATK than vanilla doesn't make up a turn only 2 mana gain
Rotating soon not a point, Brann shows it perfectly, secret hunter's underplayed in wild
Phase Stalker strong since release, keeps face hunter tier 1 end of season
Libram is core to trading up in midgame and outvaluing lategame, designed 4 recycle
3/2 divine shield is a good card on 3, and spellburst added b/c class exclusive

I agree, the big patch after 3 weeks suggest we will get the miniexpansion.
Also, new cardback (for February) needs to be patched in in January, so this is when we should get the patch.
