    Thunder Adrenaline is Rogue/Shaman. Sorry if it looked like another class, but it follows the rules, aLabaster doesn't so I'll drop that.

    I can't wait for Shyvana!

    Yeah Demacia should get a nice bump after Shyv appears in-game. I hope she comes in October.

  • This Week's Hearthstone Tavern Brawl is "Blood Magic - Standard" - Pay Health to Cast Spells

    Built a Spell Druid similar to past builds, but was worried it was going to lack the big payoff damage like last time this brawl was out.  I saw another Druid and assuming they’d be using the same tactic (the brawl had just opened up) I played a Fungal Fortunes and then passed.  The other Druid WAS using a similar deck and as I suspected, he couldn’t do enough damage turn 1.  So I watched as he basically gave me the game, and started my turn 2 with about 10-15 hp, a Swipe in hand, and an opponent at 2 hp.

    EZ Game!  Why worry about killing your opponent when they just kill themselves?!

    Choose by your game style. Tempo, Combo or Control. Personally, I'll try Leona with Garen, Swain and Sol.

  • Dragon Focused Decks

    I personally haven't played much dragons yet, but I love that they are in the game. The Fury mechanic is a lot more fun in practice than I would think given how basic it looks on paper. I can't wait for Shyvana!

  • Book of Heroes Datamined - The Mage Adventures of Jaina Proudmoore

    I'll never understand why they nerfed her cleavage.  Anyone who is offended by that shouldn't be playing a game based about killing your opponent which is based on a game where you kill a lot of other people.

    This picture even with the cleavage covering is better than the garbage portrait we're getting.

    Hey, everyone. It's good to be back :)

    • Crew Cook gives support for the Miracle archetype of both classes, while also giving some Healing for Rogue and some OTK potential for Priest in Wild with Auchenai Soulpriest. I don't like that it doesn't fit Priest at all in the flavor department.
    • Serpentine Fang gives some hard removal to two classes that usually struggle with it, but I think that's alright because they need to use their HP and take face damage in order to use it.
    • Feed the Swarm combines Rogue's bounce effects with Hunter Deathrattle triggers. The card might be too weak, though.

    Anyway, some feedback for page 3:

    @Demon

    Show Spoiler
    Very solid card. In fact, I won a very similar competition at Heathpwn (post split) with a card with the same effect, but yours is more balanced. So, I guess this one will do very well here, too.

    @TheHoax

    Show Spoiler
    I like the card, but it doesn't feel very Paladin-y, even if it would be good for it. I guess I'd make it Discover a spell from your class, instead of a Mage one. Otherwise, cool card.

    The third version feels to similar to The Curator, so I'd go with any of the other two. Out of those, I think I prefer the 4-mana one.

    About the beard color, all of them are cool, but I guess the third one gives him more Shaman vibes. Dunno XD

    @KANSAS

    Show Spoiler
    Two Fireballs are a lot of damage, even if you pay a huge cost to get them. I think this card would be bonkers in aggro, especially in Warlock.

    Flavor-wise is cool, although I'd give him a name related with fire, since it's the element in which both classes intersect.

    Finally, 'hero' should not be capitalized.

    @bigcums

    Show Spoiler
    Right now it seems stronger in Rogue, since they have more ways to enhance their weapons than Demon Hunters (which empower the Hero). I dunno, it seems like a pretty dangerous card overall, but I'm no expert on balance (in fact, I don't even play the game anymore).

    Also, some minor aesthetic mistakes: she should be named Glaivemaster Thylaea; and the word 'Attack' should go capitalized.

    @BasilAngus

    Show Spoiler
    I like Sanctum Defender a lot, but the artwork is quite bad. I think you should have a good chance of winning if you replace it with a better one.

    Very cool card, I like it a lot. I was wondering if it would be broken compared to Valeera the Hollow, but then I remembered [Hearthstone Card (Time's Up!) Not Found] is a thing, so this one shouldn't be a problem (especially since attacking with it right away will remove the Stealth).

    The main issue is that the artwork you picked is pixelated as heck. You might want to change it for something with higher definition.

    @Neoguli

    This card doesn't feel like a Warrior card at all. You say both classes benefit from summoning tokens, but I don't think Warrior is a swarm class… I don't know, if you tweak its flavor, it might fit Hunter or Warlock as a secondary class.

    @Hordaki

    Show Spoiler
    Very solid card. I think you could get away with slightly better stats. I think a 4/3 statline (or even 5/3 or 4/4) should be okay.

    @Pokeniner

    Show Spoiler
    Unfortunately, your cards don't fit the criteria for the competition. You must use combinations not featured in Scholomance, and both Druid-Shaman and Mage-Rogue were.

    That said, all your cards can be adapted to other classes:

    • Both versions of Addrenaline Rush could see Druid swapped with a different class. Hunter maybe? In any case, change the flavor slightly if you do this.
    • Keymaster Alabaster could be Rogue/Hunter, but you'd obviously need to use a different character.

    Overall, the most interesting card to me is the second Addrenaline Rush, but it really feels like a pure Shaman card. So, I think I'd go with Alabaster.

  • Blurphylactic

    Thanks! Worked first try, though I’m guessing it might not work against faster decks—it took me a while to build up a killing combo

    Ardin - I like the original the art best, because the other two blend in with the frame too much.  The first version requires some bookkeeping that Hearthstone currently doesn't have (it supports only costs and stats, not keywords), and the third version is not as exciting as the others, so I would go with the second.

    You could change the wording a bit to make it clear that the elemental bonus only applies for the turn for the second version and not like the first version. They both say "the next elemental Rush" and I initally thought they worked the same in both versions. I can't think of a better suggestion, sorry.

    KANSAS - Love the design!

    Some small suggestions? Personally, I don't like seeing hero capitalized unless its says hero power, but that's just me being picky.  I managed to get rid of the orphaned text by removing the word and, separating the effect into two sentences, and shrinking the text. That might explain why you didn't feel too sure about the ability.

    bigcums - Attack should be captialized, and it should say "your weapon's", like Phantom Freebooter.  It also affects itself, it that's what you intended.  Reminds me of Steeldancer a bit, which I really like.  It could be scary in aggro decks, but I'm not sure.

    BasilAnguis - Sanctum Defender needs a comma after the second divine shield.  Arcane Blessings is too RNG for my taste, and not in a fun Yogg kind of way.

    allthehype - It's a little awkward that if you activate the outcast effect, you wouldn't be able to attack the same turn you play it without losing stealth.  I recommend activating the stealth effect at the end of the turn.

    Neoguli - I’d like to see this work, but how does this work well with Warrior, exactly?  It is because they have a lot of rush minions? Not bad, but I think the bonus could be tricky to keep track of doing the game.

    Hordaki - I like it. I don't really much to add.

    Pokeniner - I like the first version of Thunder Adrenaline best and Keymaster Alabaster wouldn't work for this challenge, as rogue/mage is not allowed, though I really like the card personally.

  • Week 1 of the Forbidden Library - Mega Wild Bundle, Battlegrounds Updates, Disappointing Jaina

    The last event was much bigger, because it was the only non-expansion update in its phase, while in this phase we will still get at least a whole new mode.

    Xavius? The new Illidan xd

    Oldest set, cool effect but doesn't work.

  • This Week's Hearthstone Tavern Brawl is "Blood Magic - Standard" - Pay Health to Cast Spells

    Demon Hunter is completely broken. With Blur all spells costs nothing and DH has a lot of card-drawing spells, as well as spells that give the hero attack. They even have silence to deal with taunts.

    Hey! I'm back everyone! Here's my 3 ideas for the dual class cards!

    Or this:

    Give me your thoughts on each idea.

    Keymaster Alabaster isn't allowed because it uses an existing combo found in Scholomance (Mage/Rogue). Even if it was allowed though, I would highly suggest against it as the name is already taken by a card named Keymaster Alabaster, in the same set no less.

    Thunder Adrenaline is a decent idea in theory, although there's too much Overload on both versions for it to be worth it.

    In this discussion I’d like to avoid all talks of Aurelion Sol, because that’s not what I’m talking about.

    I’m curious what are your guys thoughts on the dragon cards? I had been a huge super frustrating losing streak, and then built a Demacia / Targon deck focused on Dragons, Striking opponents, and Rally. I have had a lot more wins against decks that had been destroying me. So I give them a thumbs up but I’m curious on your guys thoughts?

  • Branching Out - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

    This guy is meant to boost evolve decks for Shaman and bring them to Rogue, a class with plenty of tokens to take advantage of it with.

    I'll try to come back and post feedback later after I finish some assignments I need to get done.

    Facing down turn 1 Guardian Animals into Guardian Animals into Survival of the Fittest felt a little demoralizing. Or at least, it would have... if I didn't draw Twisting Nether.
