In wild you have better cheat cards that come out a lot sooner such as Voidcaller and Skull of the Man'ari. And by turns 9/10 you have things like Bloodreaver Gul'dan or N'Zoth, the Corruptor to swing the board. I don't know exactly what you could do with this in standard, but my hopes for the card are low. Things like Dimensional Ripper, or The Boom Reaver didn't work too well in warrior partly because of their high mana cost. Cheating out a 10 mana minion on turn 10 isn't that impressive. Granted, this card does only hit Demons whereas Dimensional Ripper can pull any minion. This means that there isn't as much of a deck building restriction for the Warlocks as there is for the Warriors.
that's the thing though, they had go really hard into the whole lackey spamming thing because their entire deck depended on the hero power. I'm suggesting we make it so that's less important.
P.S. (Notice I don't play the guy couple of times in the end because not enough mana... I suppose you can squeeze in one more +2/+2 on edwin with Waggle Pick)
Interesting card, but i feel like it simple is still too weak, which is kinda funny. The best class that can use this is Mage with all their cheap spells, and twin-spell cards. Also it's only 1 dmg, so it's basicly just a Elven Archer, and Elven Archer sees like 0% play? I feel like this might be more of an arena card? Arena players LOVE pings. But i feel like even in arena it might get overshadowed a lot, mainly by cards such as Fire Plume Phoenix, if it's in the arena rotation.
The only other deck that might CONSIDER using this is Raza Priest in WILD. They LOVE being able to play cheap cards multiple times, so that they can go FACE with their hero power even more. But even then, they still need a bunch of spells in their hand/deck in the late game. Doesn't see that practical to me.
Look, we all know that Quest Mage can be very swingy and uninteractive. But please consider these:
1. It's not that OP. There are clear counters to the deck. It starts slow, and that's why Pirate Warrior stomps all over it. It's just the Rock-Paper-Scissors nature of all metas that it beats your Big Shaman which is even slower. Take the loss and play another game. Hope for a deck that you counter.
2. There are real people playing those decks. They are just following an effective strategy. There's nothing stopping you from doing the same.
I don't see this card being played. The benefit isn't worth the setup. Nobody wants to hold a rush minion in their hand any longer then they have to. And there aren't even that many good rush minions to play this with.
Great with Playmaker and Steeldancer. Warrior used to love playing Darius Crowley as removal/board presence, and this is arguably a better Darius Crowley. Sure it might have less survivability, but Darius Crowley also gets removed pretty much right away, so i still think +1/+1 for a weapon > +2/+2 stats (-health for trading). And it also works kinda like Captain Greenskin So i guess you dont NEED to run the pirate package to get a similar effect regularly. But it might also get runned ALONGSIDE Captain Greenskin in order to buff your weapons even more.
I get your comparison with Crowley, but it is kinda a faulty one. Crowley was good because of the extra stats he got from the trades, so it kept being a constant threat and also harder to remove than this after it attacks. That isnt to say that Krastinov isnt a great card, but you wouldnt run it for the same reason as Crowley. They can end up being used in a similar way sometimes, but you wont just drop this whenever.
Probably want to add something like Cobalt Spellkin for additional spells to work the author with.
Diligent Notetaker for more spells. Maybe there is something in the author after all, but probably not in quest shaman. I might just tank my rank with some experimentation myself.
Its really just missing that final piece of the puzzle ever since Shudderwock left standard. Maybe there's something better down the reveal schedule for quest shaman.
Does it regain the spellburst after returning to hand? It does, right? Then it's quite interesting. If it was just a one time bounce Elven Archer, it wouldn't be very good. There's some possibilities here!

Good value card. Immediate trade + Weapon buff is pretty cool and Warrior has some really good weapons to utilize with this. I'm a little doubtful of this in Rogue though. They don't have too many good weapons to justify this and just buffing the Hero Power dagger doesn't look very good. Warrior gains a lot from this card but Rogue needs some better weapons to use this effectively.
I really like the concept and big decks are some of my favorites but 9 mana is a lot. We need better demons to justify this in standard. It could be pretty good in Wild though so i'm highly interested in this one!
New Warlock Minion - Archwitch Willow
I wish this would have been the dual class with Demon Hunter, to make Pit Lord a bit more relevant.

New Shaman Minion - Totem Goliath
Interesting card. It could be either an unexpected success or pure crap, but I’m sure someone will find a use for it, even if only for meme decks.
New Neutral Minion - Pen Flinger
Not a copy and it resets the spellburst

forgot about Cobalt, but you're right, that's another great addition.
It's really just an idea at this point, at the end of the day it probably needs at least a few more pieces to work in any capacity.
Pen Flinger
I suppose here is a meme I was talking about:

Archwitch Willow
She's kind of costly in my opinion

Going to go well with the rush reborns!
