There's lots of comparable cards, either as 1 mana discover something spells with no body, or 1 mana 1/1 (or 1/2 in the cases of Pharaoh Cat and Sky Raider) minion that adds something randomly to your hand. These are often good but never over-the-top unless you are just fed up of randomly generated cards, which is fair enough.
Spell Thief is the best of both worlds, but the combo trigger also makes it awkward since it often cannot just be thrown down on turn 1. As a result the 1/2 body isn't as impactful as it has been for similar cards in the past, and neither rogue nor mage makes the most of small bodies late on. Rogue already has lots of them as Lackeys, who also never turn up on turn 1, and are also made fair because of this.
Addressing the greater availability of board clears in rogue: you are overstating how reliable these will be to get. In Standard mage only has Flamestrike, Blizzard, Arcane Blast and Flame Ward if you are feeling generous. Because mage has decent AoE in the basic and classic set it rarely gets given more, which is the complete opposite of priest historically. Between Fan of Knives, spell damage and Blade Flurry (which is relevant in burgle rogue lists running Bazaar Burglary), it is only Flamestrike that really adds anything beyond what rogue could do more reliably if it wants to.
Re quest mage in Wild: sure, it is more fuel for that deck, but I don't think that deck will care much whether it was a 1/2 minion or just a normal spell that discovers a spell. Plus that deck is already well over the tipping point and adding cards like this now is relatively minor compared to what was added in Rise of Shadows.
Despite it's inconsistence, the effects are strong enough for this to be very playable. It's also cute and fun card, you can imagine all sorts of background stories for this shy little fox. :)
This is very, very good. 6 end of turn damage can be huge and this time it comes with bodies. Played on an empty board (like after Plague of Death) it's a total of 12/14 bodies with 6 face damage for 8 mana. Consistent and strong, 5/5 from me.
Bonkers nut balls. Honestly, the power level in these first bi-class cards is a little through the roof. Lots of nerfs are going to be coming again with this expansion.
Not sure how to evaluate the druid card. Looks like Embiggen on steroids but hella slow. This plus Embiggen plus the boatload of ramp druid has, may push Big Druid back in the meta.
I like the second card, it feels like a weaker but more flexible version of Magic Carpet. Will try it out in zoo decks.
As a Hunter main I am so in love with this card it's not even funny. This is fucking beautiful and exactly the type of card that is needed to help bring back Beast Hunter.
Now that is a spicy Dragon! Highlander lists are going to love this.
What ever happened to less resource generation across the board? But here, have a Neutral resource generator so everyone can have a bunch of spells that didn't start in their deck!
Have you considered just adding the dual class cards to the class roster (listing them twice). Seems cleaner to me instead of 10 additional categories with 4 cards each
Honestly I don't see this being very good. Reminds me a lot of The Glass Knight, which looks interesting on paper, but in application on the game board, the effect doesn't benefit you and is too easy for your opponent to play around. Maybe the Spellburst will make this different and I'm wrong, but right now I'm not sold.
Disgustingly good, another card I see getting nerfed. More Discover effects in a class that isn't supposed to specialize in generating resources, and reduced mana cost of the next spell played. Important to note, it's "next spell", not "next spell this turn". Play this on turn 1 and throw out Innervate and Overgrowth on turn 2.
Spell Druid is going to be even better this expansion.
Don't know what to think about this... There are a lot of good 1-drops, especially non-neutrals, but this card will be inconsistent at it's best. You want this in your mulligan or not at all.
New Neutral Minion - Wretched Tutor
I'm not sold on this. But in the right deck with some cheap spells, why not? Maybe a new removal tool for Warlock?

New Neutral Minion - Onyx Magescribe
Very interesting, could mean a lot of vaule for the right decks. On the other hand, it's slow and you need to have spell to activate the Spellburst.
New Neutral Minion - Cult Neophyte
There you said something important, aggro decks could run this to mess up their opponents removal. If that doesn't work, this is just a filler
Scholomance Academy
I was thinking the same thing about the druid spell, but then a wild Kal'Thas appeared.
New Neutral Minion - Transfer Student
Despite it's inconsistence, the effects are strong enough for this to be very playable. It's also cute and fun card, you can imagine all sorts of background stories for this shy little fox. :)
New Warrior Minion - Troublemaker

New Warrior Minion - Rattlegore
Pretty scary actually! Cool art and concept. But it doesn't affect the board in any way when played so I doubt it will make it's way into meta decks.
New Neutral Minion - Onyx Magescribe
Good stats, its a dragon. Seems really good! Basicly a "better" Cobalt Spellkin.
New Shaman Minion - Diligent Notetaker
This has pretty high potential. Especially for Spell shaman of course, bot for other archetypes as well. I will certainly try it out!
New Druid/Shaman Spell - Lightning Bloom
Bonkers nut balls. Honestly, the power level in these first bi-class cards is a little through the roof. Lots of nerfs are going to be coming again with this expansion.
New Mage/Rogue Minion - Wand Thief
This is absolutely disgustingly strong. Nerf candidate.
Scholomance Academy
Both are interesting cards.

New Hunter/Druid Minion - Shan'do Wildclaw
As a Hunter main I am so in love with this card it's not even funny. This is fucking beautiful and exactly the type of card that is needed to help bring back Beast Hunter.
PS: I can't wait to see the Hunter/DH legendary.
New Neutral Minion - Onyx Magescribe
Now that is a spicy Dragon! Highlander lists are going to love this.

New Neutral Minion - Cult Neophyte
I think we will see this card a lot more than some people think. Aggro has very little reason to not run this.
Or we won't see it at all.
-Grade A quality review that said literally nothing.
New Shaman Minion - Diligent Notetaker
A very interesting tool for Spell Shaman. Hopefully it helps, because poor Thrall needs it bad.
New Paladin Spell - First Day of School
Hey, Paladin needed more 1-drops other than Aldor Attendant lol
Jokes aside, something tells me Hand Buff Paladin support is incoming.
Scholomance Academy
Have you considered just adding the dual class cards to the class roster (listing them twice). Seems cleaner to me instead of 10 additional categories with 4 cards each
New Paladin Minion - Goody Two-Shields
Honestly I don't see this being very good. Reminds me a lot of The Glass Knight, which looks interesting on paper, but in application on the game board, the effect doesn't benefit you and is too easy for your opponent to play around. Spell Druid is going to be even better this expansion.
New Priest Minion - Frazzled Freshman
Buff target (Hello Upgradeable Framebot) or Inner Fire combo piece. Fair enough, since we desperately need some diversity among priests.
New Paladin Spell - First Day of School
Don't know what to think about this... There are a lot of good 1-drops, especially non-neutrals, but this card will be inconsistent at it's best. You want this in your mulligan or not at all.
Darkmoon Faire as Expansion 3 in 2020 - Is Blizzard Really Teasing us Hard or is it Deception? Old Gods?
Rise of Shadows: Rise like a *phoenix* perfect fit.
Saviors of Uldum: Features the reborn mechanic. Coincidence? I think not!
Descent of Dragons: An all out air battle over Northrend. And you know what else that flies and is associated with fire? That's right phoenixes!
New Paladin Minion - Goody Two-Shields
This could be pretty good but need support. The Glass Knight had a similar mechanic but never really worked.
