This is such a wonderful card to be made.  I love these "for the rest of the game" effects.  None so far have been overwhelming or really abusive, but have added a lot of flavor to the games.  

This one in particular though, I am thinking that it will see more use in Wild than Standard, unless we start seeing things like Lightning Bloom again

Seems like the payoff card for a non-quest overload shaman.

Needs a really good big spell to be worth it.

Once per season players who haven’t completed Series 3 will be able to claim one free Series 3 card to help them fill out their favorite deck and take a step closer to completing their collection. Now you can save your tokens for Series 4 and 5 cards! You don’t need to wait long for these updates, both of these changes will be in our next patch!

One of the developers provided important details on Twitter about this over the weekend. You will no longer be able to buy Series 3 cards from the shop, only Series 4-5 cards, meaning your free monthly Series 3 selection will be the only way to pick up specific cards from that group.

This is slightly worse than the present situation. While you're working through Series 3, you currently gain enough tokens in a month to get one Series 3 card -- so that part is functionally the same in the new system. However, you get 3,000 tokens when you initially unlock the Token Shop, or the equivalent of three Series 3 cards. That will no longer be possible.

You think this is great 2nd turn card?

Wrong!

You need at least 1 overloaded crystal so it's 3rd turn card.

I'd like to praise the creative thinking of using hearthcards custom cards as the promotion thumbnail for reveal season  👍

It's very easy to jam a follower curve into every single deck in LOR.

Oh I'm gonna build a dragon deck let's include laurent protégé, goat, and the 2 mana dragon challenger.

But ask your self before you auto pilot every single deck you've ever built.

Can you do better?

Can you take your meme and elevate it.

Can it go beyond what it should.

Can it be flexible, durable, and capable?

Can it come back from losing situations and respond to lost causes?

Thats why LOR had spells!

They're great little things that are designed to help you respond to all kinds of situations.

So before you auto jam your follower curve into every single board spam deck you build.

Ah that flavor text made me chuckle inside. We all knew this type of mechanic was coming thanks to Death Beetle and if control ever see the light of day in standard again, this might be a good tech card to start with.

That's kinda harsh, considering that this is the first expansion past rotation. And this is hardly an exhaustive look at the neutrals anyway. Cards like Festival Security and Frequency Oscillator are solid cards on their own right despite being neutral while Pozzik, Audio Engineer looks very much like an auto include, at least for this expansion.

Its true that a large percentage of neutrals tend to get ignored in constructed, but that's the nature of card games in general. A small percentage of cards sees play, the majority of which are filler cards, for other modes like arena. Theres only 30 cards per deck, not every card can be a world beater.

Extra durability on a weapon is usually good.

This is so easy to kill, it will probably barely slow your opponent down.

Certainly looks nice if you can play a 1-drop on turn 1, then this on 2. Might not happen enough for this to be amazing.

This art is all kinds of wonderful. And I like that Team 5 wants to stay focused on board-based strategies. 

I guess this will go in whatever deck runs The One-Amalgam Band.

I'm not sure 2 attack lifesteal will be very useful, especially since you can't drop this, then buff it the same turn. So that leaves handbuffs. Also, this is a Lucio reference, isn't it?

Does this really need the condition on the battlecry with that cost and stats?

Well, this could lead to a lot of early game face damage.
