Dear site staff, any chance that a link, showing additional tokens for my submission, Hamuul Runetotem, can be added next to my entry in the finalist phase? The card submission system didn't allow all 10 of them to be added. They are in this album: https://imgur.com/a/hufht4P which was included in the submission description, but those aren't included in the voting phase. I believe it is important to showcase them, as it helps in understanding all of the options, as well as all possible combinations having their own unique name and art for more flavour.
Short answer: No, your submission stands on its own.
Long answer: The way our current submission system works isn't very friendly to entries which include a lot of tokens. Another one of the finalists had to sneak in two tokens as one image for what is realistically quite a simple design. That finalist - and your own entry - are a bit of a grey area, since technically they're subverting the rules put in place on submissions.
These rules are there for a good reason. Realistically, your entry doesn't need all the extra tokens to be understood, and allowing all of them to be added would unnecessarily bloat the entry. Since our system is entirely automated, we would have no way (currently) of hiding those extra tokens, meaning that your entry would fill the page.
Now, a different system for submitting tokens is high on my priority list for improvements to the WCDC. Ideally I'd like them to be hidden come the initial voting and finals; probably in a spoiler which can then be revealed, to save space. That won't happen until next Season at the earliest, however.
Until that time, submissions must stand on their own. Anything in the description will not be featured in the finals. We'll be looking for feedback at the end of the Season, and a couple of things I'll be specifically asking about include the number of tokens allowed per entry, the description box featuring in the finals, and how people feel about additional materials being present in the description at all. For the rest of the Season, we would ask that people try and keep their submissions to just the single card and additional token or two.
It gives you Demonic Blast for the rest of the game. When it should normally run out, it reverts back to your previous Hero Power, which is also DB if you used Meta with Vargoth. It's the deck's main solution when forced to fight long, and goes really well with Beardo.

Quote From HellcopterJust keep in mind... shuffling Zilean over and over into the deck is a bit toxic thou, as it cannot run out of cards and its somewhat impossible to get rid of him. Maybe his second form should not have Last Breath.
Yeah that adjustment is probably not a bad idea. The normal Rewind obviously will not shuffle a zilean into the deck, its just the signature card, that zilean transforms into when hes on the board.
Although I think that milling is still possible because you dont have that much card draw to consistently redraw zilean after death and maokai will obliterate all champions from your deck. And milling without maokai doesnt make any good strategy at all.
Also, there are already ways in LOR to prevent running out of cards ever.
Ah yes, Half-Life Alyx isn't a Half-Life game, how could I be so naive? God forbid a company tries new things. You say they should concentrate on what made them the company they are today as if they aren't already doing that.
Valve is a company built on innovation, first and foremost. Their flagship titles (Portal, Half-Life, Team Fortress, and Counterstrike) all revolutionized their respective genres. They created the single most used PC game platform available at a time when the concept didn't even exist. Just recently they've developed some of the most revolutionary VR technology alongside an amazing game and open-source engine to go with it.
They created Artifact not just because they wanted to cash in on the card game craze, but because they wanted to innovate, and you can't possibly say that Artifact didn't innovate when Legends of Runeterra's gameplay format is essentially just a simplified Artifact.
Now they want to right their wrongs. They realized that Artifact was a failure in its current state, and instead of just abandoning development on it like most big companies would do, they buckled down and spent the last two years rebuilding the game from the ground up to make it up to those like myself who really enjoyed the gameplay but had their experience ruined by the pay-to-win nature of the game.
Y'know, the people who memes and complaints about Paladin having no identity and meanwhile we have Shamans here having absolutely no direction at all in their new cards and I don't see people meming and complaining about Shaman. At least Paladin's stuff, messy as the flavor can be (which I disagree a lot but that's for another day) all converges into one solid gameplan which is Midrange (and sometimes Aggro). What the fuck do you do with Shaman right now? Control? Aggro? Burst combo? Who the hell knows?
I kind of agree with most of what you said. Classes should be different and should have their own strengths and weaknesses but all of this should be taken with a grain of salt.
For the Shaman situation, my only guess is that Thrall was so oppressive for the most part of the Year of the Dragon that people don't really miss him. If there are other classes in dumpster tier, then Shaman is probably the one that will receive less love from the community.
Honestly I wasn't even talking about strengths and weaknesses, I'm just really and absolutely miffed at the whole stupid "Durrr Paladin bad no class identity messy hehehe" circlejerk that's everywhere. Here, Hearthpwn, the damn main Hearthstone subreddit, all of that. Just seems so stupid that people harp on whatever new thing Paladin gets in on either because "REEEEEEEEEE Paladins aren't supposed to be about this!!!!111!" (Secrets/Mech/Murlocs) or just people whinging that Paladin should stick to an archetype. Which, yeah, they do. Midrange and Aggro. They just happen to have semi-different flavors now and then.
Untapped Potential has single-handedly made me fearful of playing against Druids.
For whatever reason (*cough* my own incompetence *cough*) I can never, ever beat this form of Quest Druid. I think I've faced it about 20 times now with a range of different decks and have only won once with a Highlander Hunter. When I see Untapped Potential on turn one, especially followed by a coin, it makes my blood boil. Hidden Oasis thwarts every chance I have at lethal. A well-timed Emerald Explorer, perhaps already buffed by Embiggen or which discovers Ysera, Unleashed ruins my day.
But worst of all... is Oasis Surger. This card, on curve, fully powered by Untapped Potential, thwarts my lethal, ruins my day, and gives me nightmares. I completely, utterly--and wholly irrationally--hate it.
Side Note: Have I mentioned that I hate Oasis Surger? Because I really, really do.
I still have recent memories of Mage being busted in Wild. While I haven't played as much of HS as I'm now playing Runeterra (even instead of my dear League of Legends for some reason), the dominance of Mage was irritating - you basically were FORCED to have Loatheb or else your opponent would easily Archmage Vargoth and Time Warp you with little to no counterplay. This was mostly because I enjoy grindier decks like Galakrond Priest and Shudderwock Shaman (you can even check my profile for N'Zoth Dragon Galakrond Hybrid) that once got featured in Wild Weekend Decks). Even in Runeterra, I'm particulrly fond of quirky, truly infinite value decks that unfortunately don't seem to work well.

I can honestly say that I have never hated any deck since naxx-era undertaker aggro, and even then I was just parroting what other people thought.
The deck that I like playing against the least is probably all-in odd DH, just because the matchup is over before either player can make many real decisions.
Despite the endless complaining of reno players, the mage quest nerf has actually been a big hit to the deck. If you play durdle.dek, you will lose to combo decks. That is just how card games without hand interaction work.
I hate Bloodreaver Gul'dan and any deck that plays it. You're gonna say "it's ten mana, it's supposed to be good", but with the heavy cheating of demons and cubing them, including that fornicating TuRtLE, you can slap it right when you have ten mana and have two voidlords, buffed voidwalkers, three doomguards and you're immune. It's mana cheating rewarding mana cheating. I know you should play around it, but you said unreasonable dislike.
And here's me with my distaste towards Galakrond Rogue. I always picture rogue as a class that has to spend their (limited) resources strategically, plays dirty and has burst element. Right now, sure, it demands resource management a but more than other decks, but it has so much value that you can win just by autopilot spamming and curving out. It simply doesn't feel like rogue to me, i tried it and haven't enjoyed it, nor I like playing against it.
I absolutely despise Quest Mage in all its forms. I don't like its gameplan of stalling and freezing every minion then delaying death with Ice Block until it can finish the quest and steal a win they didn't earn one bit. Its uninteractive, unfair, and unpleasant to lose against, and I really believe it should've been nerfed to 10 spells, not 8. It's honestly a coward's deck.
Whenever I manage to beat any Quest Mage, I hurl numerous "Threaten" emotes at them, sometimes even sending a friend request so I could insult them for playing it. That's how much I hate that archetype.

Good luck to all the finalists, what a creative week! Stormshape stands out for me as a particularly interesting concept.
On another note, I'm really glad Talon King Ikiss made it; I love anything C'Thun related.
