Thank you for your feedback. I realized my Mage card would only make sense against certain type of opponents (token decks mainly), so I scrapped the idea. I feel like I'm gonna stick to Mage though for this competition. This is waht I came up with so far:
The first version felt too weak so I added some damage. Unfortunately the text now is 4 lines long, but I think the flavor is there anyways =)
Edit: Third version added for flavor-overkill... Seems too weak though -.-

Thez - Nice effect. Could see play in any 1-Quest Warrior, which is good because nobody in the right mind would play both quests in the same deck.
DescentOfDragonsOp - Still feels strong, but not OP anymore. Other than that the effect seems pretty boring…
Inconspicuosaurus - Definetley the second version! The minion might die in your opponents turn and usually you don't get to cast anything during that time. No need to change that.
KANSAS - Racing Minecart is simple, but I like it a lot. Just needs a Token =) Morgl the Oracle has a nice effect, but please do NOT use the same exact art as the hero… Zealous Priest is insanely OP. Those are better than vanilla stats with potentially POSITIVE card text!?
shaveyou - I very much prefer the Priest card. Excellent design. Makes Priest Hero Power useful. Sorry, but why is there a Monkey in Paladin? I hate it, but that is just personal preference, not bad design or anything^^
Cg8889 - The Paladin is the most interesting of your cards imo. For the wording I'd prefer "Deathrattle: Add a random Blessing to your hand."
grumpymonk - I love the art of your cards. Especially the Murlocs, because it can be really hard for the card and the Token to fit together so well. That being said Amber Rager technically is missing two Tokens, and Tricks of the Trade seems dangerous to me, especially when the majority of your hand is discounted to (0).
DestroyerR - Very unique effect. Also good thinking to make this an aura =) Seems balanced to me.
Thonson - First of all the flavor of this is off the charts. People will struggle to understand why this has Reborn without your explanation though…
CapnMunch - Good thinking. Looks like it would be fun with Dr. Booms Hero Powers…which is the main issue here. You would play this with Dr. Boom, Mad Genius and not with any quest.
Xarkkal - There's a general problem with Choose One cards where theoratically you need to make at least 2 tokens (in your case 3) for the card to be complete. The effect is really nice though. The Murloc as well. I don't know if one would ever play Battlecry-Murloc-Shaman, but it sounds a lot of fun!
Nirast - Too much text. Also that has to be the most generic card name I've ever seen…
bananenparty - Very nice. I especially like how you use one Quest as a requirement instead of trying to complete both Quests. If you look to improve the card I'd search for some better art. The current one kind of vanishes in the Rogue-black frame.
Fairly safe rule for those with thin wallets is to disenchant after they rotate out of standard. That way there's a much less chance you'll get a copy from packs since you're much less likely to open those packs anyway.
But if you're not fishing for dust, then its best to sit tight with those legendaries in your collection. Its really down to how desperate you are for dust that you'll start cleaning up cards that are currently* trash tier. There's plenty of reasons to hold back if you dont need the dust. Millhouse Manastorm may be trash now, but if team5 starts revamps classic, then he's suddenly worth 1600 dust for nothing.
Rabid Saurolisk looks so exciting! Most deathrattles do appear on beasts as well so this card alone helps you transition nicely into either deathrattles only or beats and deathrattles :D I'm keen!
Only thing I'm unsure on is, if we can use him if we haven't bought the tavern pass?
I would say general good practice is to not disenchant anything unless you need the dust right now, so certainly wait for when you have something specific you want to craft and need extra dust for.
Once at the dusting stage, I would first look at cards you personally don't ever expect to make use out of. This could be weak cards because you only play competitive decks, but it could also be strong cards that just don't line up with your play-style. E.g. if I needed dust I would get rid of Mecha'thun long before Millhouse or Lorewalker Cho because I know I sometimes mess around with those two but just don't enjoy Mecha'thun decks at all.
This is all made more complicated if you suspect a card might get nerfed one day, which should make you keep it even if you are never going to use it.
Ultimately it is a game so all that matters is your emotional state, and any decision that you do not regret is in some sense correct. Unfortunately you cannot know what you regret until after you do it, hence why I suggest targeting cards you don't like from the start.
Well, part of the problem is that you are using murlocs, but not murloc synergy (well, I'm lying, you are using Toxfin, which has murloc synergy); you are using only dragon synergy. You can use Skyfin and Tasty Flyfish without any other murlocs and use good Rogue tempo cards instead, or remove some dragons/dragon synergy and put some murloc synergy (Coldlight Seer and Murloc Warleader, for example).
By the way, in my opinion Tasty Flyfish is best used if you have some dragons you can play on turn 3, maybe Faerie Dragon.
Lady Vashj seems like a diffrent take on Elise, probably she will end up being on similar power level, which is low T2 at the moment, which is fine. Playable for sure.
Maiev I am afraid will be garbage. I am not sure how she is gonna work, so that is what I assume: you press hero power button on turn X for minion Y. On turn X+1 you see 1 less minion in tavern, because one is dormant. On turn X+2 you get minion Y with +1/+1. The problem is, that 2 turns later you are probably on higher tavern tier and you don't need that minion any more. +1/+1 will hardly matter. Unless there is some specific strategy meant for her that I cannot see yet, I think we are looking at T4 here.
Kaelthas is the best out of these 3 in my opinion. Significant buff that lands where you (kind of) want it to. It will make double buy with 5 gold always good, because of the buff, and then on the 7 gold turn you get another buffed minion with tavern upgrade. +2/+2 is no joke, I think Kaelthas will be strong T2.
It's very true that Quinn doesn't trade well in most other 5 drops (or even 4 drops), but you do want a lot of scouts in the deck to trigger MF's levelup faster.
Having in mind the new extended duplicate rule, I'd like to ask you what's your opinion on disenchanting the bad legendaries that you have.
Since you are now guaranteed that you won't open them again (soon), do you think it's a good idea to disenchant the ones that never saw play? I'll gladly D/E my second Millhouse Manastorm which I opened again right after I D/E him in first place...
Not that I need dust for something specific but I ask as for the general "good practice" advice. Because previously it was to keep the legendaries no matter how playable are they, so that you don't open them again if you open more packs from that set.
Furthermore, I'd gladly D/E any 4 non-playable legendaries to craft one T1 legendary from the crafting guide.
After following the competitions for like three years now, I've finally had a shareable idea for a card. I thought of a card that benefits from holding other class cards and directly helps the Caverns Below. (can be also used after completing the quest to flood the board with cheap 4/4s) Here it is:
Flavour-wise I was going for kobolds as they are known to spread like rabbits and flood opponents. Also, thanks to Togwaggle, they were the Rogue's class identity last year. I'm not quite sure about the name though. First I thought of "One Man Army" (as this kobold could become an army in quite some time) but of course this one's not a man, it's a kobold ^^
So, what do you think yhould be improved? Thanks for your help <3
I didn't had enough time to play yet (University projects :( )
But I saw some game play with a lot of mf/Quinn decks.. My question is the following: why Quinn? Seems like she is there just to take a champ slot, why not run gp or garden as better 5 drop.
I mean the Quinn level up is kind of bad... And her stats aren't great either.
I agree with meisterz39 about the article's tone, I think you should separate opinion posts from news post, this is by essence a policy change, a news post, it would better if you made a small news post and then made a comparison more in depth post about the change (I mean it's less spammy than the riot's reveal season with 4 news posts per champion).
I agree with everything you said actually but I want to point something about the gold cap and gold per win actually.. that system is the worst.. I am aware they have plans that by the end of the year they are revamping the system as a whole but 6 years, really?
the amount of gold given for *wins* is pathetic, you need to win 3 games (at least 30 minutes of play on average in the best case) to gain 1/10 of a pack price or 1/15 of arena price that's pathetic, and they even CAP it? you are playing for hours and all you get in ONE pack..?
(*LOL, TFT, LoR and valorant) (sadly didn't saw that part on this site.. not blaming you the article was mostly about league..)
and.. they managed to battle them they were afraid of them as well but found out how to deetect them.. instead of punishing players by giving shitty rewards (10 gold per 3 wins and exp cap, and garbage exp rewards) they fight the bots..
I mean do you even remember HS have an exp system?
I find it difficult to answer this because I believe the only truly bad cards are those with little to no card text that have low stats (and therefore aren't exactly exciting enough to become a favourite). Everything else has a niche where it is great. E.g. I distinctly remember Anub'arak single-handedly beating control warriors in TGT. Heck, even Bolf Ramshield was central to a strategy in 1 tavern brawl where you could reliably get a 0-mana Tree of Life in your hand then play Bolf and Auchenai Soulpriest with it to win the game.
With that in mind, I am going to pick a card that I don't actually think is bad per se, but it being good, great, meh or disastrous is far enough out of your control that it just about qualifies as a War Golem with potential downside: Flame Leviathan. There are very few cards that put a smile on my face even when they mess up badly, and this beautiful tank never failed to do that.
In the finals, it is technically allowed to vote your own card 5 stars and everyone else 1 star to advance your own chances of winning. If every finalist did this, they would theoretically cancel the entire thing out, but it's unlikely to have everyone do that.
My suggestion was to simply make it so that finalists wouldn't be allowed to vote in the finals at all.
From what I’ve seen so far, non-finalists do this as well to the card they want to see winning. I’d suggest to change the finalist voting system to one where you simply have 1 vote to give to the card you like most, the one with most votes wins
I would like to see a top 3 voting system. So you have to pick your favorite, and then the next 2 best. Then we could have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner every week. Add additional site avatar borders/forum titles for each place.
This is quite possibly the worst legendary I've had the misfortune of opening. I couldn't begin to fathom what Team 5 was thinking when they made this card - an 8-mana 3/3 weapon that, if you were very lucky, offer you an untargeted effect that you actually want, or more likely offer you a targeted effect that *may* be useful provided it doesn't randomly hit you in the face. Finally, to add insult to injury, many of the spell effects aren't even "free" because the Overload keyword still applies. Blizzard needs to offer an unreserved apology and full dust refund for this POS.
I would say Tess Greymane, but she's a pretty good card i.m.o. However my favorite BAD card is definitely Academic Espionage. Gives you a lot of value, but i guess all that value isn't that useful when your opponents gets all SMOrc on your face. If only the meta had slowed down enough. (become control/value oriented when this was still in standard)
It's a card that helps both quests, even if one is more conditional, and the RNG is more controlled than normal. Not sure about the cost, I feel it's a bit expensive at 1, but I think it'd be OP at 0.

DestroyerR: First of all, thanks for the theme! Really cool concept that really puts the creative part of your brain to work. Nice job!
As for your card: The design is great, but I think it's a little broke with Baku. 1 mana gain 3 Armor is pretty darn strong. Also, the fact that you can just keep it in hand indefinitely is also pretty busted. Yes, it has anti-synergy with the Uldum quest, but with Un'goro, it's just broken. I'd say a 2 mana 1/4 or 4 mana 1/6 that also looses durability when you use your hero power.
Also not sure this is eligible, since it synergises with the rewards more than the quests themselves.
Thonson: I like it. No one will play it because no one wants to play a 4 mana spell that gives +2/+2 and summons a Doomsayer, but I really like it :p
For real, the card is balanced, helps your curve and has a really unique effect. It's great!
CapnMunch: Is the even cost intentional? Because this would have a really interesting interaction with Baku.
A little expensive and requires a lot of set-up to get the benefits. That said, it's an auto-include in any Dr. Boom, Mad Genius deck, since, if you avoid using the 3 damage, you get an AoE of 1, 3 1/1s with rush, 7 Armor and a Mech for 4 mana. And as with DestroyerR's card, not sure it's eligible.
Xarkkal: Marshfin Spellcaster is ok, if a little bland. Nature's Wrath is probably a little broken, espically after you complete your first quest (which, let's be real, will be most of the time at that mana cost). Not super fond of either, but the murloc is probably better.
