To be honest, I haven't played much of Even Shaman. This deck is more aggressive than midrange. It's5 probably less reliable than Even Shaman, but more explosive.
I stopped playing Runeterra because games were kinda long and I did not enjoy them much. But I have to say that I really want to play with the new faction. Pirate warrior and rogue are my favorite deck in hs. Not becase I love aggro but because I love pirates. I'm really hoping to have fun with pirate in Runeterra as well.
Personally I think it's fine as is; adding more rules to the card probably will never happen because Riot wants to keep it simple, and a better way to introduce more diversity in shadow isles (imo) is with cards like Maokai.
I play it in Egg Hunter, where you'd expect it to be at its best, and even there I'm sometimes hesitant to play it, as it will eat your Devilsaurs and Nerubians that you went through the trouble of popping. I imagine it's even worse with Cubelock. Yeah, it's nice to eat your own Voidlord, but you only get one back instead of two from the Cube and you might incidentally end up eating your Doomguard that you wanted to stay on the board.
I do not play LoR, but I a, not a fan of balancing cards in this way. If a card is too OP in a certain situation, then you shouldn't change the card to say "this doesn't work in this specific situation".
If Glimpse Beyond is too powerful at instant speed, then maybe reduce it to sorcery speed so that it can't be played as a response to another instant speed removal spell.
Respectfully, it's very clear you don't play LoR - you're talking about balancing it in MTG speed terms. There are three spell speeds: slow, fast, and burst. Slow and fast map well onto sorcery and instant speeds respectively, but burst speed works like an instant that automatically resolves rather than go on the stack.
But even more importantly, LoR has rounds that are shared in a way that MTG turns aren't. Whenever a player takes a slow action (casts a slow spell, plays a unit), priority switches, and a player can rally their attack on their opponent's turn. So, there are a lot of times when you can't afford to kill your own unit as part of a slow spell because it opens you up to attack, even if you have the mana to summon more units.
I actually did play a bit of LoR when it first went into open beta, I just couldn't remember exactly what the different speeds were called.
My balance idea wasn't meant to be taken seriously, it was just an example to show how I would balance it.
I need your help. Today i played ladder a bit (I am silver 3 right now) and i am kind of tilted after a few games. First: This is no salt thread, I really need some help. I play HS for quite a while now and started to "main" Shaman, because its the most flexible class (in my oppinion).
So after a few "Dragon quest Highlander" games today I faced only 3 decks: Face Hunter, Demon Hunter (Aggroversion) and Galakrond Rogue.
I have no problems with these Rogues, most of the time I just out-value them with my HP. But... I have a hard time versus those (Demon) Hunters. They have soooo much value with just 2 or 3 mana, that they outtempo me since the first or second round. And everytime it seems like I have a Comeback, I am at 15 HP (or less) and they can give me everything face without worrying.
Now my question: What is the best deck versus those classes? (Without joining them....)
I just think of changing to Totem Shaman again, but they will clear them very quickly.
Way back before it was nerfed, it was playable because it could target a minion to transform, but the rng could still screw you over. After the nerf, it became a complete Randomonium because you have no idea what will be hit andhow.

Correct, only one ladder counts as first time.

Has anybody tried playing Teron Gorefiend in Cubelock? It is basically a Carnivorous Cube that hits everything on your side of the board.

Hmm - if you've already earned the rewards climbing the standard ladder, there are no rewards awaiting you climbing the wild ladder, correct?

This is a rare sight, a wild deck that I have all the legendaries for. Going to have to craft the cubes, but that warlock deck might work well for me.
