Thanks for featuring my list! I think I'll give that Totem Shaman list a try, it looks very fun.

  • Top Secret - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

I am a bit disappointed at the number of rogue secrets that say "When an enemy minion is played/attacks, it goes dormant for 2 turns". At first I thought "oh, that is kind of interesting" then "Oh look, these two submissions are very similar" and now there are four secrets like that.

To be honest I am pretty disappointed at the lack of creativity on a lot of these cards.

  • Neoguli's Custom Paladin Core Set Changes

I really like your changes. They do a good job at bringing some of the cards in line with the current design philosophy of the game while keeping things simple enough for basic and classic. That said, the wording on some of the cards should be updated.

Heroes Never Die should read: Shuffle a copy of the three highest cost friendly minions that have died this game into your deck.

Imprison should read: Choose a minion. It goes Dormant. When you have no minions, it awakens.

I personally would like all of these to be added into the game. Hopefully next year blizzard does something similar.

  • [LEGEND] Wild Taunt Warrior

I didn't record it, but I managed to climb to legend using this deck throughout all of diamond without much of a hassle, so I'd say around 70%.

  • Return of the King (Yogg Grinder Mage)

Usually, it's for the lulz of having double Reno's Hero Power, but also because, if for any reason, your Grizzled Wizard is gone, you can still match your opponent's hero power if you want to.

That being said, Finley can definitely be seen as a superior choice as far as price goes, and viability for other decks.

  • (Demon) Hunters everywhere (And some Rogues)

Egg warrior/nohandsgamer's warrior is probably the best choice for this, it has a good chance against the three decks listed, but be aware that this 'combo' deck is not easy to play. Its not a deck for the weak of heart.

You may have an easier time just playing dragon hunter, which can beat face hunter and rogues, but is about 49-51 with dhunters. Or if you're willing to just forget about face hunter entirely, spell druid destroys dhunters and rogues.

Res priest isn't good against galakrond rogues, and do not have a guarantee against face hunters and dhunters. Totem shaman gets wreaked hard by dhunters and rogue. Just cant keep up with tempo. Warglaives of Azzinoth just destroys totem shaman its not even funny.

But if you ask me, if you just want to rank up, just play dhunters. There's a good reason why they're dominating across all ranks. There's just no way to out-tempo dhunters without majorly teching against them, which will expose you to other matchups.

what is your winning rating in ranked games?

  • Fizz is Legend of Runeterra's Latest Champion - New Bilgewater Cards Revealed & Attune Mechanic

Fizz can still be dealt with through AOE, like Avalanche or unit skills like Avarosan Marksman, all the challenger units when attacking, all the elusives units when defending.

    Quote From brownhackwtf

No I don't want to play shaman only anymore. Maybe I try some other classes like Priest. Played priest back when Dragon priest was a thing in TGT. I think Res Priest is the way to go right?

since we are here to help only im not gonna go into of how i despise priest in general and Rez Priest is on the top of my list since barnes was a card.

Having said that i would say its good versus those aggro decks but its an absolute loss against rogues. the second bad part is that each match takes forever. ranking up with a rez priest takes days.

its your personal choice but i would recommend a highlander mage with a lower curve than the slower version.

EDIT: I can give u my personal list if you want but only if u have the cards. Amazing Reno steals matches on his own so if u dont have him, forget it. altho i did rank up to gold without him. and this was pre nerfs

  • Wild Weekend Decks to Help Climb Hearthstone's New Ranked Ladder - Get Those Freebies!

I...mentioned that exact thing in my first comment... He's useful, no doubt, but quite often I've found I'm in a situation where playing him will pop, say, two of my eggs, while at the same time taking down the Devilsaurs and Nerubians I already got from those eggs previously using Play Dead etc. So, often, playing Teron can make your board position worse, and you're quite literally putting all your eggs in one basket. If your Devilsaur Egg gets silenced, it hurts. If Teron gets silenced, it's disaster. You just destroyed 2-3 of your own minions with promise of more payoff down the line and now you get nothing but a 3/4 body. Unlike Terrorscale Stalker, Teron destroys your eggs, doesn't just trigger them, so now all your eggs are off the board and you got nothing to use your activators on if Teron gets silenced.

So, again, he is good. But he's not the end-all be-all for the deck and if you're short on dust, I think there are better legendaries to craft for a variety of archetypes that you will get more value out of than Teron. In the end, you can achieve much the same thing with Feign Death.

  • Fizz is Legend of Runeterra's Latest Champion - New Bilgewater Cards Revealed & Attune Mechanic

Well Fizz does seem annoying but he’s still vulnerable to Aoe. And in order to block spells the Fizz player has to always be casting spells, which might force them to play a Spell suboptimaly.

  • Fizz is Legend of Runeterra's Latest Champion - New Bilgewater Cards Revealed & Attune Mechanic

So because regular Elusives were already so much fun to fight, how about one that also dodges spells?

Well, I guess I made the right choice in quitting after all.

  • New Bilgewater Spell - Playful Trickster

Another rally effect but this is so restricted that I think it's ok.. since it removes an attacker and then if you removed it for the sake of avoiding a barrier then you wouldn't attack again..

TBH it's EXACTLY like in league with fizz's E, you can playful away to safety but sometimes you want to trickter(or wait enough to fall down) on them for damage.

playful is the removing part, while trickster is the rally part.

  • New Bilgewater Card - Coral Creatures

I think this one is the best of all the 3 revealed attune followers.

it gives you always what to do with that 1 spell mana.. reminds me of Babbling Book.

It stops a bad attack from happening and then lets you attack again, but then it's weird cause if the enemy used a barrier or a health buff then you wouldn't want to attack again so I tend to agree it's weird.. it's very situational.

  • Wild Weekend Decks to Help Climb Hearthstone's New Ranked Ladder - Get Those Freebies!

I know a certain moderator that would approve this plan.

It's-a me, Mario Link! I spotted one of these decks in Casual a few days ago, and we engaged in a Taunt-battle for the ages. Maybe not, because I won pretty handily with my variant, but still: it was fun and cool to see others playing a deck like this :D

Speaking on the deck itself, I'm not sure how I feel playing such wimpy Taunts. Presumably you do so to get Sulfuras out faster, but I managed the feat first in our game so I don't know. I like playing bigger stuff such as Scrap Golem, The Lich King, and Khartut Defender, but I can understand how that can backfire against faster decks (I know this first-hand, of course lol). I'll have to give it a shot.
