Welp today was one of the worst I've ever had - wanted to take a break from laddering by fooling around in Casual with some more fun decks I've not had much chance to use since launch: Spell-Only Mage, "Sneaky" Rogue (secrets + stealth), Big Spells Shaman, "Enrage" Warrior etc.
But alas I forgot the Golden Rule of Hearthstone: Casual on a weekend is reserved for tier-1 decks to gold farm. I seriously went 3-21. Of those, the one and only non-tier 1 deck I saw was one guy running that Raging Worgen OTK Warrior deck.
I'm so seriously tired of making the same complaint over and over: make Casual a place for fun and memery. PLEASE take the gold rewards away for any wins earned in Casual so that people will stop using it to farm (or "train" or play "without the stress of the ladder" or whatever self-justificatory bullshit they want to tell themselves). I just want to get a chance to use my garbage legendaries and try to treat this like a fun game and not a fucking grind.
Nice effort and here's an upvote from me but you actually forgot the best one: Cho'Gall! The infamous two-headed ogre would make one of the best alt heroes for the warlock class. Don't ya think? If that's really the case, expect some hilarious quotes. :)

I think the way they view it is that if you need an auto-squelch option, you're admitting that there's a reason that someone would never want the emotes on; to them, auto-squelch is basically saying that emotes are a bad user experience, and shouldn't be in the game.
I don't agree with them about auto-squelch, but I can understand not wanting to essentially endorse the idea that emotes are a toxic part of the game.
Yes, please. Don't like have to always just save decks elsewhere and then delete an old deck & copy & paste/import a different deck in when I want to play something that isn't currently saved into my actual game itself.
I have 0 HS friends. All my friends on Bnet only play other games. Anyone I have added in-game only adds me to yell insults about my mother because I beat them. Maybe a clan/guild system would be really good for the social aspect of the game?
Its not surprising to see dhunters up there on the top, but the nerfs will serve only to slow down their game against control and do nothing to reduce its ability to outright tempo out nearly every other deck that requires a board to succeed, except perhaps egg warrior. Surprisingly the real culprit here is Warglaives of Azzinoth, which when paired with Twin Slice can single handedly destroys any aggro-midrange shaman, hunter, rogue, paladin, and other dhunters.
Also, the real reason for removing the Glaivebound Adept for Blazing Battlemage is so the outcast mech, specifically Skull of Gul'dan, dont get blocked out by an expensive card. So many games can be decided by whether you play skull on curve or not. I'd keep skull in my hand whenever possible, and when its at outer left side of my mulligan I didnt even need to think.
Maybe the hit to Altruis the Outcast will slow down its winrate, but I doubt it.
Res priest is good, very annoying to face, and with dhunters being so good at its job we're not likely to see anything that can take on a late game galakrond priest, whatever the version. Mostly its because it outvalues just about every deck listed, and when it doesnt that deck will face a poor matchup against dhunters. The nerf to sacrificial pact means warlock can play Lord Jaraxxus now, which can outvalue priest, so there's still hope somewhere for a pure handlock deck to be tier 1.
Paladin...well, the buff will do nothing. I've been losing all my ranks playing paladin this weekend, and man its weak. Like very weak. I've tried nearly everything short of removing the librams, but paladin's extremely poor early game and draw just can't be papered over with amazing healing and its late game is atrocious versus priest and druid. So no. Even with the buffs, I'm afraid its too late for poor Uther. I'd go so far as to say that quest paladin has a better chance, if only because its late game is less bad.
Galakrond evolve shaman may be a better choice. Totem shaman is a little 50-50 for me. Absolutely crushes druid, but loses badly to dhunters, warlock and rogue. Too bad the totems themselves have no attack until buffed, so your opponent will take endless value trades against you while you struggle to build up a decent threat.
I have to say, that though the meta game is hardly as polarizing as it was early on, this meta is surprisingly a bit stale for me. I'm off for some big dhunters, and perhaps even tank my ranks with paladin again like the masochist I am.
Regarding auto squelch, they should let the player decide themselves whether they like the lines or not. Personally, I find them distracting and want a proper auto squelch.
Luckily on PC I can use a third party plugin. However, for mobile, it get really annoying to manual squelch. Sure it takes only a second.
It's like every time you play a YouTube video, dark mode get turn off and you have to manually turn it on for every video.
Other card games already have that option. I don't see why not? It's not just an issue of toxicity but distractions.
Spell Mage got me to Diamond 2 this week. I guess I'm the last one who didn't notice everyone got off that bus. Definitely felt that struggle against Resurrect Priest. I should probably give in and play that one but I find it so boring. Egg Warrior sounds intriguing and I've got some dust to throw at it...

I feel so dirty, but don't care. Because finally for the first time, I can call myself a Legendary Hearthstone player! Finally hit legend for the first time with Aggro DH! Now I never have to make that legend push again!

I kinda liked the card, the overall feel was good (Art+character+setting), but the balance/playability is what bothered me. At 4 mana, it is probably close to unplayable, it is just super weak stat-cost ratio. Tho at 3 mana, i feel like it would be too strong. Also making it lower cost would just mean that you could just put this card in your deck and a quest and build a rest of the deck differently, having only Eternal Knight to finish the quest. With 4 mana, that would be sooooooo sloooooooow, not to mention the tempo loss every turn. I dont think even the best control decks would be able to afford that, but like i said, make it lower cost (and stat decrease wouldnt rly help to balance that), and it would become probably too strong.
Overall, your design was good, just the ability wasnt something that was easy to implement.
Mhm, I wonder how they envision this. Average HS player has like 3-5 friends maybe? lol ... and forcing you to make "friends", if it was a requirement, would not feel exactly great. But maybe it is a feature more aimed at PRO scene, or laddering with few friends / group of ppl? There could be something like "team chat" for more than 2 ppl at the time. The game isnt exactly "social friendly". Maybe they want to change that? Guess we will have to wait and see.
Did you check your collection? My free golden Legendary did not show up when I first openend the packs (only when I logged back in). You probably got those 2 Legendaries from packs, and the free one just sits in your collection. 2 is a low amount from 55 packs, but it is possible.

I actually just made a deck with Al'ar. Replace the Prime with something else you have, it's a pretty budget deck :)

Your card was actually the only card in the entire competition that I simply didn't gave a rating to.
The reason for this is that it's REALLY sketchy to judge this. The card would be either game-breakingly OP or utterly unplayable, and this is a characteristic that applies to all "infinite" cards like this. I really had no idea how I would vote for it, so I thought the fairest I could do was simply not vote for it, in return, not affecting its average score.
Did you check your collection? My free golden Legendary did not show up when I first openend the packs (only when I logged back in). You probably got those 2 Legendaries from packs, and the free one just sits in your collection. 2 is a low amount from 55 packs, but it is possible.

I've been trying to build a Control DH, but it's just not possible. Fingers crossed the next set has a heavy (and really good) big demons package for Demon Hunters, because otherwise I'm still playing a 9 class game.

Sylvanas fell to Arthas who later raised her as a banshee, but she formed the independent Undead faction, the Forsaken later on. Vereesa stayed loyal to the Alliance as a ranger.
Jarod and Maiev Shadowsong: Jarod is a great warrior and leader of the night elves and is honored as a hero among them. Maiev is a former priestess of Elune and the most famous of the Wardens, the jailor of Illidan for 10,000 years.
Arthas and Calia Menethil: Arthas was the promising young prince of Lordaeron, a Paladin of the light and Jaina's love interest. But he went down a dark path: he killed his father, Archmage Antonidas, Uther and eventually became the Lich King. Calia remained a peaceful Priest, but later Sylvanas killed her because she was the rightful queen of Lordaeron and the Forsaken. She was resurrected by Anduin as a special Lightforged Undead.
Brann, Muradin and Magni Bronzebeard: the first one is a member of the League of Explorers. Muradin was a friend of Arthas before he became a Death Knight, now he is the king of the Bronzebeard clan of dwarves. Magni was the king before Muradin, and he participated in a ritual to commune with the planet Azeroth. He became petrified in diamond, but years later he emerged as the Speaker of Azeroth.
Jaina, Taelin and Derek Proudmoore: descendants of the leading house of Kul Tiras. Taelin is a captain in the Kul Tiran fleet. Derek was killed in a naval battle, but Sylvanas resurrected him to use as a puppet. Baine Bloodhoof broke him free and he reunited with his family.
