I appreciate the call out on my new Val’anyr list! As the guide states, it’s still a little bit of a work in progress so take it as you will. The main reason for the Libram inclusions is that in many matchups the Heal 8, 8/8 taunt libram helps me to live long enough to pull off the Val’anyr on copying minions stuff the deck is designed for.
Getting to Legend is a grind. Seems like it's much faster now with the multi-star system, but if you aren't someone with the 11 star multiplier, when you run out it still feels like the old ladder. I only had 9 and ran out at Diamond 10. I'm still sitting around Diamond 6, but after the Outland launch I have been playing with a few experimental decks rather than just the most powerful DH deck.
Had a bit of the same, playing highlander mage: started at bronze 10, cruised my way upward towards diamond 2 but now swinging between 2 and 5 for a couple of days.
I agree with you that the token should have +2 attack while at full health. I dunno, maybe the pack tactic mechanic kinda forced the stats to be 'just' 3/3 whatever the condition there is. I'm just guessing here.
that's always been the case. I don't know what kind of data collecting algorithm they use but it's complete garbage at the start of any expansion.
Often times the "highest winrate" decks displayed still show cards from previous years or clearly pre-nerf lists.
There's also that one time where they Highest Winrate list of a particular deck had a lower winrate than its overall winrate, which...how does that even happen?
Just in general I don't really trust Hsreplay's stats, at least not the free version. Their tier lists almost never accurately reflect reality. VSsyndicate is a lot better (even if they occasionally come with a lot of biased takes)
I've definitely noticed issues like this. Like I just clicked through to "Highlander Hunter" from the meta page, and then on "Best Performing Deck", and it shows a deck with Zilliax in it still.
I think it's always taken them a few days after an expansion or a nerf to sort out the new meta decks. One time, they basically blocked all the stats and said "coming soon" (possibly after Rise of Shadows came out). The way they've done it this time, there's definitely some inconsistent data, but at least you can access it.
If you skip the "Overview" sections and go straight to searching for decks, there's a "Last 3 days" view which might help. They'll also probably sort everything out in a few more days anyway.
I've noticed while playing Highlander Hunter that there is an unusual interaction between Pack Tactics and Overconfident Orc. When your Overconfident Orc is summoned as a 3/3, the game considers him not to be at "full health" and he doesn't get the bonus +2 attack. It seems to me like the token should be a 5/3 while he's undamaged, since the wording on the card says "while at full health".
Does this seem like a bug?
Trying to think of other examples, like if you played Sunkeeper Tarim on a board with a Tar Creeper, it would still get its +2 attack and show as a 5/3 while defending. And of course an enrage minion doesn't get its enrage bonus when a 3/3 token of it was summoned. (I just tried this out with Spiteful Smith and the 3/3 token does not buff the weapon while undamaged.)
I went on to HSReplay this morning to check up on the latest Demon Hunter lists. They have the win rate of the most played version of Tempo Demon Hunter at 57.4% in the list view, but that same deck list in the drilldown's "Overview" section shows a 63.8% rate, and specifically a 62.9% win rate against Warlocks. Given the fact that Warlock has access to Sacrificial Pact and is at the top of the HSReplay rankings, I don't really see how that could be true.
I'm not sure if this is just an odd fluke with how their drilldown views handle trend data/what they include in their win rate averaging, but it's very confusing.
In the days of 25 stars from rank 5 to legend, I often found an inflection point at the bottom of rank 2. I found it pretty easy to get to rank 2, but often got knocked back from there. HSReplay had stats on each of the ranks from 5 to legend as well, and you could see the breakdown would show both the popularity of most decks and their winrates vary quite a lot, especially at the top 2 ranks. This was ages ago but one example I can remember was Even Shaman after the nerf to cube warlock. The deck had a great winrate up to rank 2, but then it went to sub-50%, and that was reflected exactly in my success.
Sometimes the meta shifts day by day, even hour by hour. If you're winning more than half your games, you can eventually push through. I don't think it's necessarily luck (although that's obviously a huge part of everything in HS). And your deck may not be bad, just maybe need to tune it for the local meta you're facing.
Major side effects to commonly-used (non-experimental) vaccines are extremely, extremely rare. If you care to assert otherwise, cite some published, peer reviewed evidence.
The fact about vaccines is that they made everything you enjoy about the modern world possible. Why have we never had a pandemic like this before in our lifetimes? Vaccines. That's why.
It took a brand new illness to make us have to worry and protect ourselves from possible infection by a disease we have no vaccine for yet. But before vaccines, massive outbreaks of deadly illness and widespread deaths from it were a common occurrence.
Vaccines do immeasurably more good for humanity than the extremely uncommon bad that comes from side effects.
Those are the facts of the situation. And this pandemic will not fully resolve until we have herd immunity to Covid-19, thanks to wide spread, affordable vaccines that are being developed even as I write this response.
So I've noticed some kind of jo-jo effect when playing ladder. It starts by climbing from diamont 5 diamont to diamont 3/2 without any major problems and then I suddenly start going back to diamont 4.
Does that mean that I'm unlucky or that the deck is actually bad and I was just lucky to get that far?
So... Demon Hunter... How does this affect the class creation Competitions? Or are they getting fused into one, where you must design an expansion that also introduces a new class?
And not to be a nag, but any idea when the big competitions are coming back?
We are working on preparing a Big Comp, but no ETA right now. Demon Hunter shouldnt present any problems for these, if anything, it might make the class comps a bit easier, depending on how we are going to go about it. Class competitions are going to get more robust with each HS set released as has been the case in the past, so eventually something will have to be done for the sake of the comp's length and the amount of cards needed to be designed. It is going to take more and more time and work to design a new class, if you would like to design full set of cards from each expansion.
But like i said, we do have something planned, so stay tuned :)
Based on what you've posted, your answer should be "yes", you are waiting for the confirmation to pop up considering you've stated the site says "your collection is updated".
We haven't had any server-side errors log from the collection management page since the last update went out with fixes midday Friday. Do any errors appear in your browser's console after you click on the import button?
I was able to successfully import your collection without errors. The steps I took to do so are as follows:
Visit the collection page.
Click on JSON importer.
Paste your blob into the provided field.
I click on the blue submit collection button below the JSON field.
A top-right notification appears stating the collection update is queued.
I wait some time
A success (green) notification states it was successfully updated.
The importer still doesn't change/update my collection at all.
Happy to try a reset, or similar, if it exists?
Are you waiting for the site to return a confirmation notification before leaving the page? You should get one at the top right corner. D
No, I'm waiting for my collection to update.
I manually added some cards before the importer existed. Now, no matter what I import, nothing changes. I see two pieces of feedback: "You're in a queue" "Your collection is updated".
I click on the PROGRESS button, and nothing has changed. I come back the next day, and nothing has changed.
So... Demon Hunter... How does this affect the class creation Competitions? Or are they getting fused into one, where you must design an expansion that also introduces a new class?
And not to be a nag, but any idea when the big competitions are coming back?

I have buccaneer in my collection: https://hsreplay.net/cards/2715/buccaneer
Should '2715' be in the JSON output on HSR? Because it isn't. So maybe that bit if js doesn't output the whole collection?
