If you can afford to play Imprisoned Vilefiend on 2, then getting a 3/5 on 4 with rush is pretty good. The fact that this can help you retake the board in the midgame certainly makes it interesting, but if you want to take control of the board in the midgame, why not spend your second turn playing a minion that can help you to do that immediately?
Take away the invoke and it will be literally the worst card ever printed in hearthstone history.
Imprisoned Vilefiend on the other hand potentially swings tempo on turn 4 and leave you with full 4 mana crystals to develop your own board. That's a far cry from Devoted Maniac's impact on curve.
Reminds me a bit of Devoted Maniac. T4 „deal 2 Damage and Invoke" is good enough to see play, so maybe People will at least try a t4 „deal 3 and leave a Body"?
I really don't know how I feel about this dormant mechanic. It will require a lot of planning from you (while building your deck with dormant stuff) and from your opponent (when deciding how to deal with your dormant minions, once they pop out).
I believe it will make for some nice plays and strategies and I am happy that so many dormant minions are neutral ones and not stick to a certain class (DH, for example).
This one has sick stats for t2 and it will make immediate impact on the board... on turn 4. And it's a demon. So far so good. But is it good for aggro? Or for tempo decks? I don't think so. Maybe control decks? Just play it and let it rest for a bit? Or is the whole dormant cards some sort of niche shenanigans? The more I think about it, the more I get confused, so I guess I will just stop thinking about it :)
Pretty meh. Don't think that a Tempo Deck wants a 2 Mana do something later. You can play it on t2 and give it Blessing of Kings or Power Infusion on t4, but outside of that it's a terrible Topdeck.
Firelands Portal for 5 is a great spell. It's gonna be pretty tough to run a deck that's got no minions (especially because a deck full of spells probably wants at least King Phaoris and Kael'thas Sunstrider), but you could always just run very light on minions and then draw aggressively through them. Mage certainly has no shortage of draw power.
A 2 drop with rush, but dormant for 2 turns. Basically, played on curve this is very strong. Its essentially a turn 4 rush with full mana crystals to work with.
Works very well with paladin and new priest, because they can buff this thing into high heaven on turn 4 and swing tempo, just okay with the other classes.
Played outside of curve however, this thing is plain mediocre. Top deck this thing and its essentially draw nothing.
Apexis Smuggler doesn't need to be great to see play. It's got vanilla stats, curves right into the mage secrets, and supports Mana Giant. One or two good secrets and/or one or two more pay-offs for playing cards that didn't start in your deck could make this a useful tool in Mage.

I don't think they will make death knights in HS, since there are already some death knights as heroes. I say it wouldn't make sense. But monk will for sure have a class if dmh goes well
Q: So hoarding packs before major nerfs will be a good dust strat if you have a good collection (Editor notes: This is a comment about the new duplicate rule). A: There's a caveat here: once you receive a card, you'll have it marked for "collected" purposes. So if you disenchant a card you've received, it's still considered "owned." So you can't exploit the refund system that way. There's a great benefit to this though: If you don't like a particular card or class, you can disenchant them and not have to worry about getting them in future packs.
So does that mean that the first time I get 2 copies, I disenchant them, open up packs, I'm not guaranteed to get the cards I disenchanted earlier back?
Yes, these two cards you disenchanted are still considered as “collected” and will not show automatically for next packs
In WoW lore, Demon Hunters are exactly that, hunters of demons. They do have Demon allies, yes, but they ally with them strictly in order to bolster their army and be able to hunt even more demons.

I really like this card, either its good or bad card, this can be atleast a nice quality of pack filler.

Demon Hunter - what's in a name?
I think for gameplay reasons this is not the case for dhunter in hearthstone.
Priest is Getting an Overhaul! An Analytical Dive into the New and Changed Cards
I believe Blizzard has said they intend to revamp more classes in the future, but in smaller scale than Priest. We'll see what ends up happening.

No.
Demon Hunter - what's in a name?
This is a WOW class and not something the HS team made up

We are only missing death knight and monk.. if demon hunter is a success I think we will eventually get the other 2.

tks
Bilgewater&Shurima
You missed some:
Bilgewater could also add: Illaoi, Nautilus, Pyke, and maybe Fizz and Tahm Kench
Shurima could also add: Rammus, Renekton, Skarner, Taliyah, Xerath
I think I also saw someone say on these forums that Bilgewater is going to be the next new region but I could be wrong about this.
Demon Hunter - what's in a name?
...demons ;). That pretty much sums up their lore.

This would be an option under the user profile, that if selected, hides the big spoiler splashes.
So, by default everyone gets them. I think most people do want them, and all the seo juice will work just fine.
I'm Code, BBCode!
Do any of the shortcodes have any optional arguments?
Demon Hunter - what's in a name?
The Demon Hunter class is not a class that hunts demons. It is a class that uses demons to hunt.
Does this mean there might be a Demon Mage, or Elemental Mage?
Feels like Demon Warlock might fit better?
Or am I just overthinking it, and they just wanted something that sounded acted really SMOrc-y?
"Face Hunter was popular, lets use DEMONS and make it a whole class."
