This year I completed all the achievements by following the achievement strategy of out of card, I am proud of myself, thank you for the achievement strategy provided by out of card, I will continue to support you next year.

Happy new year everyone! I'll share a couple of my favorite Hearthstone moments from this year:

The first one was a day during Sunken City when I hit Legend in both Standard and Wild in the same month, which I had never done before as a primary Wild player. I didn't really plan to do it, I just remember falling in love with Control Shaman during the first months of the year and playing it until it was nerfed. In that period I also played Beast Druid in Wild, one of my favorite decks of all time.

One highlight of the year was surely publishing my custom expansion on the fan community forum. I was also very hyped the day the Death Knight assets got leaked, revealing that the final expansion of the year would contain a new class (despite the fact that I was rooting for Monks!)

My favourite moment is the first expansion Voyage to the Sunken city. It's trailer, vibe, atmosphere of the expansion, meta and collosals so cool.

But the best thing of course is CRAB RAVE that I'm still listening while training and on my Ipod))

Accidentally queing into ranked with a jank "Oops! All Lifesteal" lifegain-and-defense absolutely-not-serious casual deck and finding out, for the very first time, that the entire meta was burn decks and getting a pocket of 4 players in a row utterly tilted that they were at least two damage from winning the game by burning me down from full life, all while I'm saying "why is this trash winning?"

The random assortment of cards I put together in 25 seconds and didn't play with any care was more successful than the grand plans I had for clever and interesting decks.

But, as sad as that is, playing the Unexpected Reno against someone working way harder than me for the win was sublime. Stupid, but sublime.

Prince Renathal would be my favorite. It does not stop kills from hand but helps, atleast

Does it have to be favorite moment from Hearthstone? Oh well, I hope you don't mind but my favorite moment was when I stopped playing this addictive game in Castle Nathria back then. Let me be honest, that was the single most joyful experience that I felt because I no longer have to grind and grind thru hours of gameplay just to get XP enough for gold and for the next expansion every single day.

Now I can actually enjoy other games, so much that I actually finished MGSV, RDRII, Farcry6, and other fantastic games with the limited time I have. 

I want to win too, but I hope this weird favorite moment is not gonna be disqualified just because it's not what everyone like. *fingercrossed*

This one seems quite doable also for people who don't have Mark's persistence. I got an OTK on the second try and I might have gotten it on the first try if I had saved the Coin in that game.

Most of the rest of the disruption cards should never have been printed, IMO. To me, they are just there to prevent me from being able to execute my plan. In addition, disruption cards should have a decent chance of being dead cards (and Armor is a great example of this). It should be at least a bit of a risk to include them in your deck. But many of the disruption cards have a very low inclusion risk - they are just too good against nearly anything your opponent is doing. Both goblins are a fantastic example of this problem.

Two other examples: why would you ever not use Debrii if you're playing a zoo-type strategy? She causes a huge headache for your opponent, and she's neutral or even good for your own deck. And Daredevil? Literally every deck should have him in it. He gives an absurdly unfair advantage. (Incidentally, did you know that Daredevil reveals literally every card the person is playing, even if should be hidden otherwise? Whatever they do, you see it, even if it's behind the Invisible Woman.) I do own him, and I was using him often until I uninstalled the game again yesterday, but it felt super unfair to have such an enormous advantage over my opponent.

Both goblins actually do have some risk in them. If you play those two against a destroy deck (Which is very common in the current meta), they're just extra noms for Carnage and more reduction for Death. You're essentially spending resources helping their gameplan. They also can be sent back an opposing Odin, or blocked by a Cosmo, or they can just fill the location if they read your deck and come to a conclusion that you have a goblin in your deck.

I never thought Debrii to be that much of a headache though. Yea she's annoying, but not like escape worthy IMO. She's also not a neutral play. The base power for 3 energy cards is 4 power.

Daredevil is an interesting one, because yes you do get a big information advantage over your opponent, but it actually makes your plays a lot more predictable too. If you have daredevil on board, your opponent can prepare for the upcoming 5 energy plays (Prof-x, Gamora, Aero) from you and play around them.

My favorite Hearthstone moment of the year and probably for a lot of other fellow HS players was the introduction of Prince Renathal. It brought a whole new dimension to building (XL) decks and the extra health also meant control decks would make a triumphant return.

Not really a favorite moment, but a highlight was the glitched March of the Lich King Standard packs giving out signature cards

I have no idea what my favorite Hearthstone moment was, but I did have a question. If you were going to get a package for the newest expansion, you probably would've gotten it by now, right?

Mine is a bit generic, but also genuine, all the reveal seasons in general :  the hype preceding the launches of new cards, the miscalculations and misjudgments of their relatives impact, the expectations of new metas shaping up and various archetypes getting supports; with an honorable mention for the introduction of DK as a playable class - those were my favorite moments of 2022!

Honestly, my favorite Hearthstone moment this year wasn't even connected to me: I just really enjoyed watching Regis' stream during the Death Knight Showmatch. Seeing him kick butt with a BFF deck was somethin' else, pulling wins from nowhere and carrying Team Frost to victory. Regis had next-to-no expectations about doing well, but he ended up being MVP of the whole tournament.

All-in-all it was fun to watch, and it was...ahem...cool to see him do so great. He's kind of become my favorite streamer over the course of the year, so that was a nice way to cap 2022 off :)
