Oh well... my former Core Set changes sped up my speedrun to 10 appearances. :D

The pattern I found out is that it usually is a card from the Freljord expansion because of the snow related theme 😉

Oh no - I failed to impress an NPC.

This snow related event usually "borrows" cards from the Freljord region, so that is just a small fraction of them all. Unfortunately, there is no filter option available to only list the collectible cards so I indeed had to browse through all 194 cards of that particular region.

For the first two Snowpocalypse events, I did click all the Runeterra cards before I noticed the recurring pattern. I do not play that game and there were fewer cards released back then. I reckoned Fluxflashor did not mind the extra site traffic I was responsible for 😂

Another year gone by with amazing and remarkable gaming content from this site. Congrats guys for the take on of Marvel Snap content and still keeping up to date with the regular card game news. Here's to 2023 and the excitement to unfold. All the best and take that well deserved rest.

Lor is still a better game in my oppinion.

But Snap is faster, it's easier, and there are no hard counters.

Like say I run ramp into an ezreal deck in LOR it's basically gg because all that dmg is burn.

But in Snap once you have your meta silver surfer deck built (not me imo) you can basically just play and win any game if you want.

Or death wave, or she hulk infinate or whatever toxic late game deck your card collection will allow.

I'm personally not seeing a reason to buy the season pass. Last pass season, Black Panther, isn't exactly ruling the Meta or even showing up in games.

BP had a very short window of viability and I occasionally see him pop up in decks. I liked playing Zola on BP since he proc'd a second time when he was duped by Zola. That said, outside of the Zola combo, I don't know if he's that useful. Maybe Wong if you can dupe Wong into another lane or also play White Tiger

the reason I actually like Snap is partially because I've had to adapt and build to my collection so many times. I'm fairly far into pool 3 and still missing some of the heavy hitter meta cards but I've done ok climbing by doing some research and playing different archetypes.

I still haven't got Death or Hela or Patriot but I've had a decent amount of success playing Disrupt and counter decks. 

I also have been playing Jayce/Lux the deck is definitely a lot better since there aren't many aggro deck wich are this deck's bane but I don't recommend using Champions' Strength after it's nerf to 9 mana the card is clunky to use.

I just found this forum and I've been trying to find places to talk about Snap that aren't reddit.

I wrote a handful of early game guides (and one guide on Apocalypse) but they're on a different site. I couldn't see any rules about promotion so I just wanted to ask first so I don't step on toes. If the answer is no that's totally fine. Just thought a guide to early game cards and decks might be helpful to anyone who is starting out and I spend so much time thinking about Snap, I just wanted to share and discuss my lists.

tbh I don't find SS to be overwhelming compared to some harder to block combos. SS and Brood are powerful for sure but they're also pretty telegraphed and that's where smart retreating can make a big difference.

that said, I find it's the patriot into mystique into ultron that is wrecking house more often for me. if they're spread into different locations, not even enchantress can really stop it.

if you think someone is planning a SS drop, play Cosmo into one of the non-brood locations and watch them run out of options quick. that's how i've been handling it personally.

For that specific Runeterra clue, I recall you saying something about clicking all the cards.

Dude I went virbranium in pool 1.

Because the card pool was equalized.

I'm not impressed

I played two decks - Prof. X and Omega Red - from Bronce to Plat.
Even with an Omega Red win streak from G41 to Plat 52.

And it was all about "know what you do and snap correctly".

I like these games !

Quick Rommaths is not so easy ... we need to remain alive until turn 9 at least ...

I'm deep into pool 3, but I still lack some of the crucial cards. I'm not willing to buy season passes, so no Surfer. I haven't opened Patriot, Human Torch, Hela, Dracula, and others I'm not remembering.
