I havent had much success with control oriented decks so far, aggro/tempo decks suit me better for now.
Fearsome is a powerful keyword, allowing you to deal some nice early damage as soon as t1 and t2, obviously there is Elusive, but Fearsome spiders are pretty good.
Overwhelm is also a very powerful keyword, letting you have some reach even if blocked.
Lifesteal minions are good, as already pointed out, since they give you time to turn the game around.
Barrier cards hasnt been working out as much as i would have thought, obviously when they work they work, but since this is not a HS Divine Shield, Barrier fades away at the end of the turn, it is more of a situational protective tool, rather than a proactive protection, which i think is a better design, but maybe im still a bit in the HS mentality expecting it to be more powerful in more situations.
Quote From frankyI'll give you a practical example why this card needs some changes. I had a game where opponent was with a full board of tokens/creatures max power 2. He was at 15 health, I was at 5 and I only had 1 unit on my board. I was gonna lose, as simple as that. I dropped Ledros, I attacked, I won. It's kinda not fair.
She Who Wanders would have basically had the same effect, no? :-) Perhaps it would have taken a few additional rounds, but I'm guessing it still he had no way to recover from that play effect.
There are plenty of ways you could have won that game with other cards if your opponent didn't have removal or purify. it's perfectly fair.
Board presence is not the only win condition, nor should it be.
Of course there were plenty of ways I could have won that match, but I didn't have those cards in hand, nor did my opponent had cards to counter my Ledros, as it happens in many matches.
Ppl lose matches because they don't have the right answers to win at the right time, or else, by your logic, everyone could win every match and every card is good as it is.... as long as you have the answers at the right time...
I never said that board presence should be the only winning condition, or else there was no use for burn spells to the Nexus, nor would Riot print burn spells targeting "anything", they would just target units (if board presence was the only winning condition).
Don't get me wrong, I understand your logic, but sometimes a Ruination saves your day.... but only if you draw it... if you don't... you can lose.
When I said "it's kinda not fair", it was what I felt, as the winning player, when dropping that card, it was way to powerfull on it's own... but obviously, that doesn't mean that there aren't cards to counter it, they exist... but you gotta have them in your hand, that's obvious.
The card is absolutely bonkers. It is what makes or brakes the aggro Wraith decks out there. Getting defending 3 power blockers down to 2 means they cannot block the fearsome units anymore. Plus it gives some spiders +1 power. Plus it can be used defensively to avoid lethal. All while having good 3/3 stats. wtf
Exactly, the attack debuff is just so huge. Lot of units can be droped to 2 or less attack, so they cant block Fearsome, and just debuffing in general will just make awkward situation for your opponent, cause they suddenly cant trade 1 for 1 with your followers anymore lots of times. Obviously in a spider deck its best but its pretty good overall.
Your 2nd point is interesting: You seem to mistakenly believe that a Barrier'd blocker absorbs a portion of the damage from an Overwhelm attacker. But in fact, the entire Overwhelm damage goes through to the nexus.
I don't think that's the case. I recently lost a game because I thought it worked the way you are saying, but not all of the Overwhelm damage made it through.
Overwhelm also punches through barrier--i.e., if he didn't have Judgement and you had blocked the Ancient Yeti with something and then gave it barrier, then your blocker would take no damage but your nexus would receive 5. (Not sure if that's as intended or not, but that's how it currently works.)
I'm pretty sure the blocking unit's health is still subtracted from the Overwhelm damage in the case of Barrier.
It's just that the damage assigned to the blocker is then negated (not the overflow damage to the nexus).

Commander Ledros is an healthy card by an anti-control point of view, but it also has too many other extras: bounces back in hand as Last Breath, has pretty decent stats and has Fearsome.
Since it's role has tech card is perfect, they should lower its statistics or at last remove Fearsome (so that it may be blocked even by little creeps) in order to limit its flexibility.
Then it's a good thing they are being upfront about their no-refund policy. You can decide for yourself if that OP Champion is worth the risk of a future nerf. Seems perfectly fair to me.

Thanks for letting me know. I was freaking out, because I still need to cast about 10 more spells for 100g + 100dust.
It was a rewarding event as usual. Nothing more to say.

Commander Ledros ought to round down

Legends of Runeterra Will Not See Refunds When Cards Change
Honestly this is a good thing
For one, there's no good way to do refunds in this game anyways since there is no such thing as a dust value.
Furthermore, if they actually did give refunds then we'd just have less balance changes. Moreover they#d have little incentive to keep cards playable.
Also we are more likely to get buffs and nerf reverts this way

I can't beat the first boss on the EVIL side. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but I can't seem to get any board control.
Legends of Runeterra Will Not See Refunds When Cards Change
Pretty much what i expected, the LOR reward system is pretty generous so far, we shall see how the game progresses when it gets older.
Chaos Gazer
I think this might fit Galakrond Warlock, over the Albatross tech slot perhaps?

Whew finally finished invoking Gal.... its a bit easier now lol.
The use of barrier and some spells
I don't think that's the case. I recently lost a game because I thought it worked the way you are saying, but not all of the Overwhelm damage made it through.
Explain to me how blocking works again?

It's the Eye of Agamotto from the Dr.Strange comic (the original one, not the version used in the MCU).

Demons in Hearthstone Battlegrounds are Being Nerfed this Week!
I just played my 1st game since Tirion was put in as a Hero and picked him. I was then offered Wrath Weaver & Fiendish Servant.
That carried my early game until I received both Mal'Ganis & Voidlord at Tier 4 & I easily won.
2nd match was offered Nefarian & once again the Demon tribe took me to 3rd.
I can see how Demons are op right now.
