That was really enjoyable - the plot twist wasn't that surprising - but going full circle with the story felt great. I personally preferred the one where Rafaam wins it all and narrates his glorious escape, but Reno's always entertaining!
Making every card viable is the funniest part to me. Every other card game has either given up on that idea, or struggle to make that idea work. Magic and Hearthstone has so many draft chaff and weird cards to cover the unviable cards, while Gwent just moves from meta to meta with every balance changes.
Good, bg's have been not fun since Tirion and the new demons were added. Before that patch, you had multiple tribes that could get you in the top 4. Now, you have to go for demons. I'm looking forward to a new meta with multiple viable strategies!

I played HS from the beta until a few weeks ago when Legends of Runeterra came out and I'm so glad I switched. RNG can make games fun, but HS takes it way too far. RNG should be like a little spice making matches different, not one of the main factors that determines how a match goes. I know some decks have little to no RNG, but far too many have it as one of their primary resources.
One of my favorite changes going from HS to LoR is that you can include 3 of any card in your deck. So no more highlander decks. No more hoping to draw that one card in your deck you need.
I have had multiple issues with it only counting a small portion (or none at all) of whatever I needed to achieve. I noticed that if I switched from playing AI to regular PVP it seems to not do that hardly at all, but still has a few times. It was way more prevelant in the first week-ish.
I try to avoid Champions that need a lot of support -- unless I know that specific kind of support is frequently offered in the buckets for that region.
For example, even though Fiora absolutely requires support, you know Demacia will offer you plenty of combat buffs.
On the other hand, you would have a hard time convincing me to pick Shen, as Barrier is not super easy to come by.

I feel the Ashe will be especially useful long-term since I don't see Frostbite ever being bad!

I think my daily quest didnt count somehow ...

Well, this way it's surely random :)

Lots of fun :)
Nice deck!
Legends of Runeterra - Top Decks for the Week
I own three Elise, two Hecarim, and one Thresh, so maybe that's a sign that I should be playing Dawnspiders 2.0.

For example: Dr. Boom, Blessing of Kings, Marin the Fox.

It's kinda funny to see Noxus used in control decks. I don't doubt the effectiveness; it's just not what you think of for that region.

oh and ofc his hero power only accounts for Standard spells...which are totally not rigged at all and never actually hurt him.
People actually paid for this shit and they couldn't even be bothered to come up with a realistic challenge.

How do you counter or at least live against the Elusive Decks?
Yet Riot does plan to do a balance patch once per month, so it makes sense to drill down on the most obvious offenders.
At the moment, Elusive is pretty near the top of the list, along with certain aggressive tools from Shadow Isles.
Given that there will be monthly balancing: If not this, what?
