if you thought the first few chapters of galakronds awakening were too easy, you can rejoice and relish in the fact that chapter 4 is anything BUT easy. most of reno spells are HEAVILY skewed to his favor, making it not unlikely to see 2 or 3 frost novas in one game. but he is a literal joke in the face of heroic galakrond. EVERY SINGLE TIME this fucker invokes he summons nothing but a mere 8/8, and that as early as THE VERY FIRST FUCKING TURN. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT GUY'S CURVE. IF HES NOT BUSY SPAMMING YOU WITH HIS 8/8 DRAGONS, HE'S THROWING OUT ALL SORTS OF OTHER BIG DRAGONS (notably waxadred) AND ALL THE "IF YOU INVOKED TWICE" WE'VE ALL COME TO LOVE. YES, EVEN OUR OH SO BELOVED SCION OF RUIN. what's that? you wanna play doomsayer and a bunch of taunts? well THOUGH LUCK, buttercup, with his hero power being a repeatable Flik Skyshiv, and his weapon he has from the very beginning (which he has more of in the deck) ensure you wont have a board, EVER. your only hope is to have a fuckload of freezes and heals ready, along with some way to otk him, because you sure as arent gonna get through that 150+ health naturally. im not saying they shouldnt make the PvE matches challenging BUT THIS? THIS IS THE PERSONIFICATION (perdracofication?) OF OVERKILL!!
Vargoth imo is not needed since you have enough pressure for blocks. Research project is a really nice card for the deck and it punished draw-heavy decks at the same time, but I'd say licensed adventurer is to good not to include (synergy with the quest, flamewaker & cyclone).
You can try to add 1 or 2 research projects instead of questing explorere perhaps. Project has great synergy with flamewaker, cyclone & apprentice while questing is a steady body vs aggro which also allows you to draw(unless you finished your quest, which happens really early in a lot of games). I personally like questing more since I face a lot of aggro on the higher ranks.
well then they're even more braindead, because by the time he gets a weapon worth fingering you're already dead...and then he just makes a new one anyways
not to mention he ALWAYS get a perfect opening.
It's literally the opposite of fun, you just have to get lucky. It's Maloriak all over again.
Honestly this is the kind of shit that makes me want to quit the game alltogether. Just a complete lack of playtesting
alright, someone tell me which absolute fucking retard designed that Togwaggle bossfight on heroic. It's literally impossible to beat, he just shits out candles and beats your face in without a counter.
wow, this card sucks in so many levels. I'm a main mage player, and i was really exited when i heard about a new hero card for mage, but, omg it's so awful. The most consistant mage deck at this moment is highlander (and it has no hope against hunter), so i included in that deck but, in the matchs that i hit ten mana, because you usually win or lose before that, the card does almost nothing, just pass the tempo to the oponent and the hp made me lose twice, and i have play it five times. :(
Quote From frankyI'll give you a practical example why this card needs some changes. I had a game where opponent was with a full board of tokens/creatures max power 2. He was at 15 health, I was at 5 and I only had 1 unit on my board. I was gonna lose, as simple as that. I dropped Ledros, I attacked, I won. It's kinda not fair.
She Who Wanders would have basically had the same effect, no? :-) Perhaps it would have taken a few additional rounds, but I'm guessing it still he had no way to recover from that play effect.
Indeed, but that would have to be 2 turns later, where I would be dead already. And that would be 2 more cards to draw, where he could draw Decimate and Blade's Edge and in that case he didn't even need to attack or a board at all.
That's why I gave a practical example, and not an assuming one. Because when we enter the realm of assumptions, everything is possible ;)
Surprisingly enough, HS Divine Shield works the same way, it also blocks only the portion of the damage equal to the minion's Health. I wonder what kind of coding is behind these effects that they are coded the same way.
I agree that Barrier should block entire dmg output of any unit, Overwhelm obviously being the most imporatnt one. Maybe it technically does that, just the poor/weird implementation of the mechanic counteracts that.
Drain i think is just a "confusing" implementation again, it seems that it is basically "Deal X damage, Heal your nexus for X". Heal is not conditional upon the damage dealt, but in 99% cases you would think so, cause it makes sense from how the spell resolves. It could be improved upon, i agree.

For the rest, i cant agree, that is just your personal "feeling" on how you percieve the cards with their flavor, not really based on how the game mechanics work. Which is fine, but i dont have problem with how that works myself.
As a Hearthstone player, this card makes me think if Anub'arak was a good card, what would it's effect be? Granted the effect can be very effective in the right situation, in HS the 9 mana minion slow is often one where you either 1) have a powerful effect with an immediate impact or 2) use it as some sort of combo piece. Otherwise, it's usually too slow.
In essence, Ledros is kind of like this. The low health means it can die easily, but it has been given a very powerful effect! I have played him some for this effect alone, but have yet to play him with my opponent at 1 HP. Didn't know that was the result. However, now that I know that I'm not really sure how I feel about it. Going from 1 to zero isn't really cutting in half, it's dealing 1 damage. Perhaps the solution is just to specify "cut the enemy Nexus health in half, but not less than 1." So ultimately you get the same effect, rounding down UNTIL the opponent is at 1 HP.
But also, unless this becomes a very common strategy with people abusing the power of Ledros to win games at an impressively high win rate, or unless the entire meta of the game is forming around stopping Ledros, I'd say leave it. The Runterra team seems set on frequent balance patches and will likely make a change when, or if it's ever needed.

The E.V.I.L. side battle where you fight Anduin and Sylvanas was the most fun I've had in an adventure in a long time.

Which card are you going to miss the most from the upcoming rotating sets and how would you replace it?
Whizbang the Wonderful
Largely what kept me going when I couldn't make a good deck. Love him to see him added to Classic, but I know that's quite unlikely.
Which card are you going to miss the most from the upcoming rotating sets and how would you replace it?
Bomb warrior is from RoS I know it's been forever since we saw bomb warrior being played.
Legends of Runeterra - Top Decks for the Week
That Avarosan Frost Midrange seems interesting, but I'm missing Katarina and one Ashe.
Guess I've to find the time to do a couple of Expeditions.

When does the patch arrive?
Previous patch notes have released at 2:00pm ET, but I can't confirm that will always be consistent.

Slyvannas is still the leader of the horde in hearthstone? I don't know the current canon in WoW but surely she's no longer part of the horde right?

Agreed, the final chapter did not disappoint.
Now if only they'd finally tell us what E.V.I.L. stands for. Currently I'm just running with the assumption it stands for Every Villain Is Lovely.

Guess if/what Riot will give refunds for nerfed cards
In case you all missed it from an article earlier today, there won't be any refunds for cards that get changed.
