Ah well, yeah, kinda :P  I "let" Pezman win the fight last winter by stopping throwing snowballs in the end, so yeah, I had some flakes stored heh :)

Still can't believe that you all predicted DK with great accuracy! The new milestones were unfortunately not as expected, but there is still 2 new portraits to obtain and therefore, we are back on the grind! I does feel like it will take for ever to get 500 and a 1000 wins with DK, but mind you, it took me years to get all the other class to where they are at, so it will also take time to complete DH & DK.

As for updating about my progress, I'm still working on Druid - closing in on the last 100 wins - and DH is now getting close to 200 wins! And .. oh well, I'm like 5 wins into DK's journey so lets not focus on this one just yet!

So out of the final third of the Darkin expansion we've seen an unprecedented amount of bulk carda released.

For the first time ever this extends to actual champions.

The like of ryze and angel girl are unplayable, and of course they are its written on the cards.

Do a bunch of unnecessary counter intuitive crap maybe win the game.

So what's to stop a LOR player from running Plunder a three decades old archetype still sitting in A tier?

What's to stop them from running ramp the only good freijord archetype since the pop dancers mini event?

What's to stop you from running Annie a meta defining control and aggro card that released with bard?

The reality is these decks are good, they may not be the best but they balance payoffs, synergies, and deckbuilding requirements in a satisfactory manner.

Thats something we are seeing less and less of in LOR moving forward. So maybe LOR can take a page from Snaps book smaller expansions with more meaningful cards.

Because at the end of the day unlocking 1 card like the human torch who compliments a pre-established archetype is 10 times better than unlocking 100 cards that do absolutely nothing.

Am I the only one that just drops in Nozdormu and clicks "Complete My Deck" every month? I also give it a name like "esdrctfvyguh" but that might be a stretch that someone out there does that as well.

actually any deck is good. Just remove the less useful card and replace with the dragon.

Vargoth, Elekk and Farmer are very smart deckbuilding choices!

For Vampiric Blood achievement, if you have at least 6 corpses on turn 6, making a combo with Archmage Vargoth speeds up the progress by great margin in Wild. 20 Health gain in 1 turn is no joke, I must tell. I also used Educated Elekk to shuffle said spell more than discovering via RNG.

For Blightfang achievement, Tomb Spider is also a card that helped me find it in Wild. Northshire Farmer allowed me to shuffle more of Blightfang and I also used Body Wrapper to try finding DK spidey.

The fun part is that it doesn't really matter how much you lose. It's about strategy and how to know when to give up early instead of wasting points. Similarly, it matters to snap when you know you can win.

I've only seen one deck that really wrecks me whatever i do, and it's the discard one with Hella. Unless they discard that particular card, it's usually a loss so i retreat in turns 5 or 6 most of the time.

This worked like a charm: ran right into a DH running Relics. I banned the Relic of Phantasms, obviously, and they banned Glacial Advance, leaving Icy Touch to finish denying them the ability to do...well, anything lmao :D
