  • New Druid Spell - Rising Winds

The card draw looks relatively nice, and while you probably won’t choose the minion too often, it’s decent on curve

  • Out of Cards Reviews - Galakrond's Awakening #1

I keep having to remind myself it's not if I pack or craft these cards, it's when we get them.  So they will end up in the collection.  It's been so long since that happened :)

  • [Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)

    On the board I'm staunch.

    Like an inverse of old.

    I'm about to launch.

    Ready the cannons and go!

  • Four New Card Revealed From Galakrond's Awakening, Including a Familiar Face!

Is that a Shaman Legendary weapon I see in there? That's extremely specific; I'm thinking bullshit, but you never know *shrugs*

It's been confirmed that the "good" classes are getting an extra three cards in the first wing. Considering the Reno hero is a mage card while the other two legendaries have been neutral, I imagine these three "bonus cards" for the good classes are going to be the hero cards, and the four legendaries they mentioned are all going to be neutral.

  • Ionia Region Strength (And is Deny Overrated?)

Honestly, I think of Deny as a more balanced version of Magic's Counterspell. Yes, it's going to seem slightly weak if you are coming from a Magic background, but its limitations actually make the game stronger overall.

It's obviously a strong card, but not a panacea. That is a good thing. I would not want to play this game if it were stronger, even though I do intend to play some Ionia, and I do expect to use Deny in most Ionia decks.

I was super-excited when I saw some streamers trying (and failing) to use Deny in the middle of a resolution stack. You can't do that in Runeterra, and I'm SO glad this game doesn't get as fiddly with technicalities as Magic. That kind of thing just slows down the gameplay way too much, and the tiny layer of added strategy doesn't justify that cost.

maybe they meant 4 new class legendaries + the other 2(?)

Either way, we're getting 35 cards and we need the class cards evenly distributed, meaning at most we're getting 27 regular class cards.

Out of the remaining 8 we could get 4 Hero card + 2 neutral legendaries + 2 more randoms.

Or maybe the Hero cards count towards the class cards, which still leaves us with enough space for neutrals.

There'S no way they just  make a single hero card (or at least legendary) for one class and leave the rest neutral, that would be absurd.

I don't see the point tbh.

Quest Druid doesn't really need it, you usually have better things to do than playing 3/2s or drawing a single card for 2 (Breath of Dreams already does it better)

Even after completing the quest it's basically just a slightly better Questing Explorer. Every other deck really doesn't need it either.

It's not a bad card, it's just kind of redundant.

    very specific information

  • Eye of the Storm

I think this would be good if it summoned two 5/6 for 5 mana lol

  • Four New Card Revealed From Galakrond's Awakening, Including a Familiar Face!

    Someone leaked 8 more cards.

  • Four New Card Revealed From Galakrond's Awakening, Including a Familiar Face!

You can craft cards from adventures only when they rotate to Wild. If you want to use them know, you have to get the advanture, and you just get them as you complete the chapters (no need to dust). That´s how it worked so far.

  • Four New Card Revealed From Galakrond's Awakening, Including a Familiar Face!

    Agreed.

  • Four New Card Revealed From Galakrond's Awakening, Including a Familiar Face!

Tombs of Terror and Dalaran Heist are terrible value for your gold. You are losing 400 gold for every wing you buy. If you are new I would suggest focusing more on packs and Galakrond's Awakening.

  • Four New Cards Revealed From Galakrond's Awakening Including a Neutral Legendary Lackey Synergy!

    Quote From h0lysatan

    Cap here.

35 new cards only craftable from dust, or from buying the whole adventure. (gold or cash)

There are 4 wings. each wings consists of Good & Evil side

    Each wing cost 700 gold.

The 1st half wing is free (Evil side) when it's released. But the other half (Good side) you have to buy for 700 gold.

The rest of the 3 wings cost 700 gold each wings (Good & Evil both)

The total cost is 2800 gold. / $20.

Ok so if you purchase the whole adventure then you get all the cards, is that correct?

    Thank you for enlightening me.

  • Noob incoming !

    Thanks for the informations

  • New Shaman Spell - Eye of the Storm

I doubt we will see this card being included in decks but sometimes you might pick it of ethreal lackey or get it with hagatha.. it's a great spell to teach the elemental with swampqueen hagatha as well.. so no, 0 inclusion in decks but it's existence will have impact.

  • Four New Card Revealed From Galakrond's Awakening, Including a Familiar Face!

    No, you can't.

Actually, if you value cards more than content, you should stop buying Dalaran and Tombs since they just reward 3 packs per wings, while Galakrond's Awakening's value is much higher (e.g. 28 gold for 4 Legendaries and much more)

  • Legends of Runeterra - Change to Weekly Resets?

LOL I didn't badmouth Riot, just stated my own personal enthusiasm was diminishing and related what I experienced.  I stated it doesn't bode well in my opinion, but never stated Riot was a company that no one should ever support (or whatever you are assuming I feel regarding Riot).  I only expressed concern that there was conflicting information (and yes, I checked forums and website articles and determined that others had some luck where I had not) regarding the messages delivered by Riot to me via the registration emails and what was reported by other users (which, I believe, should be taken with a grain of salt).

I would also suggest that your assumption that I am "very obviously desperate to play" LoR is also misguided, as I don't think I am ever desperate to play any game; I have on this website recommended caution before jumping on any hype train.  I also have not "lashed out" at anyone, either individual or company (not sure where that came from).  To be honest, the only person I think that has "lashed out" at anyone here would be your first sarcastic comment directed at me.

Your free to think this however; I hope the experience is rewarding and that LoR is all you hope it will be.  I hope it exceeds my expectations as well, although I am not as confident as I once was.  I hope that final statement is one you do not find offensive, for yourself or on Riot's behalf.  Be well.

  • Four New Card Revealed From Galakrond's Awakening, Including a Familiar Face!

So I'm a new player and I don't plan on getting this adventure any time soon (almost done buying Tombs of Terror and Dalaran Heist). Can I craft these cards without buying them?

  • Four New Card Revealed From Galakrond's Awakening, Including a Familiar Face!

I like how its an epic battle of dragons, good versus evil, while the whole world looks on with baited breath and clenched teeth as two sides clash to decide the fate of the world as we know it.

here's a giant parrot with an orc sitting on it.

  • Galakrond's Awakening: Arena Impact

Sky Gen'ral Kragg - 1 - Like Grand Lackey Erkh, this will only be draftable if you're at the end of your draft and you've ended up with the support for it.

Arcane Amplifier - 5 - Solid stats with a powerful ability as a common, and multiple copies on board will stack the damage you can do with your HP. All topped off with elemental synergy. Really strong card.

Eye of the Storm - 5 - 15/18 for 10 mana at a time in the game when overloading 3 is largely insignificant. Another common card that should be easy to get in every Shaman draft. Yikes!

Rising Winds - 5 - Great for it's versatility and the twinspell makes it incredible.

  • Reward Even Though I Lost + Gold Donut?

In a game just now I got a crown for coming in 5th and I'm curious if this is a new thing or just a situation I've never seen before?

Relevant variables: I and another player got knocked out on the same round. They placed 4th and me 5th. I lost to a dead player, them to a live one. However, the "ranking" screen had what looked like a little gold donut (it had sprinkles which is why I'm assuming it wasn't a halo) floating over my hero's head and I still was awarded a crown.

Is this a thing? If you get knocked out and get 5th the same turn as someone else who gets 4th you still get the reward? Or does my losing to a dead player have anything to do with it?

  • New Druid Spell - Rising Winds

    Pro

I like it. The versatility it provides can be used in a variety of decks (that may or may not be competitive tho).
