  • New Mage Minion - Mana Giant

Mage has so many card generation right now I believe this will easily finds way into cyclone decks.

  • New Mage Minion - Chenvaala

Priest had Dragon Soul which was harder to remove, but Mage has at the moment insane amount of cheap spells (and Sorcerer's Apprentice on top of it), so it can lead to very spectacular turns. I have high hopes towards this card.

  • Goboglide Tech

The idea of the card seems nice as to greater support the mech strategy in controlling the board more but I don't think it's going to be enough. Plus, the card itself isn't a mech which means it has no mech synergy when it's on the board already.

  • New Mage Minion - Malygos, Aspect of Magic

This can be crazy and exciting card to play, I like it. There are definitely better and stronger cards in the set, but when I see this at pack opening, I won't be mad.

  • Highlander Galakrond Rogue

    Quote From YourPrivateNightmare

I don't think you can run Galakrond in Highlander, as tempting as it may be.

You will only run 4 invokers total, meaning that for a fully upgraded galakrond you'd need to play all of them beforehand (and you really don't want to play Galakrond without fully upgrading him)

that also makes Kronx much worse, since you can't play him until you've played Galakrond.

That's why I have Spirit of the Shark + Cobalt Spellkin in the deck at the first place. I've thought that I may trigger twice battlecry minions and Cobalt Spellkin might give me [Hearthstone Card (Praise Galakrond) Not Found]. That's rng tho.

Also I've thought like that; Kronx Dragonhoof isn't in the deck because of creating a combo with Galakrond, the Nightmare but Galakrond is in the deck just because of Kronx Dragonhoof and lackey generation.

So the thought behind Galakrond isn't using it for activating a combo, it is there just because of the battlecry of Kronx.

  • New Hunter Minion - Dwarven Sharpshooter

This is ridiculous. Insanely strong card with premium body which can carry whole archetype.

  • Fire Hawk

Although having this as aggro against control of handlock can lead to a big attacker, the 3-health makes it pretty easy to remove, which isn't a thing you'd want with a minion you want to attack with.

  • New Hunter Spell - Corrosive Breath

Powercreep is strong with this one! (Cobra Shot cries in the corner.)

  • New Hunter Minion - Primordial Explorer

Statline is weak at this pricepoint (although poison can be a big deal ), but discovering a dragon is the real superstar here. In overall great value, bu only if dragon hunter is viable.

  • New Hunter Spell - Clear the Way

Pretty easy to trigger, good reward - definitively will see play. Quest hunter approves.

  • Scalerider

Seems pretty solid as an early game control to pick off small minions and to establish a solid minion of your own. The playability does depend on the playstyle of the deck and the class.

  • New Hunter Minion - Phase Stalker

My first thought was this is batshit crazy, just imagine - for two mana in every turn you deal two damage to your opponent, cast a secret and thin your deck. Also 2/3 for two mana is great deal. But there is little chance that it survives a turn and to trigger effect immediately after play you need to spent four mana, which is not that great. Anyway, still believing this will see some meta play :-)

  • New Hunter Minion - Diving Gryphon

It's beast, it's removal, it's card draw - overall very good card for Hunter. I believe we see this guy a lot.

  • New Hunter Spell - Toxic Reinforcements

I can imagine this can be really strong, as well as it can be absolute trash. Meta will decide whether hyperaggro prevail (and I have strong hunch it will).

  • Wing Commander

Seem to be a fine aggressive run in aggro dragon decks but then that means you don't want to be holding cards you can't play in the early game. With 1 dragon it's a Chillwind Yeti

  • New Hunter Weapon - Stormhammer

Solid replacement of Eaglehorn Bow for dragon decks. If dragons for Hunter prevail (and I hope so), this will be autoinclude.

  • New Hunter Minion - Dragonbane

I am slightly optimistic about this card. Effect is strong, body is solid and fact that its a mech is huge upside. Also it can go face, which is always good news for hunter :-)

  • New Hunter Minion - Veranus

This plus Unleash the Hounds results in rare Hunter board clear, but I'm afraid that Hunter control archetype doesn't have enough support.

  • New Druid Spell - Strength in Numbers

Only deck that can think about this is big druid, and even in here is it very unreliable. Highroll in its true form.

  • New Druid Minion - Shrubadier

Trees are friends! Druid now has tools to summon treants on curve from mana one to five. If treants don' t become a thing now, they never will (and I'm still pesimistic about that).

  • New Mage Minion - Violet Spellwing

Insane 1 drop for Mage. Arcane Missiles with a 1/1 attached, and also the Arcane Missiles you get works with the 'spells not starting in your deck' synergy for Mana Giant.

  • Troll Batrider

A throwback to Flame Juggler but this one does more damage and has an additional attack for 2 more damage. Not good enough for non-arena formats due to the randomness and lack of power compare to other cards

  • Embiggen Dragon Druid

Floop your Frizz until you Overflow! rofl!

  • New Druid Minion - Emerald Explorer

Breath of Dreams needs strong dragons for druid, and here comes Emerald Explorer. Exellent body for mana cost with taunt and as a cherry on the top discover dragon (possibly another Emerald Explorer). With this card I believe that dragon druid can be a thing.

  • New Druid Spell - Treenforcements

Outside of token decks unusable, otherwise solid inclusion for token strategies. My main concern is that this expansion has way too many better cards, thus this will probably not see many play.
