Very simple to complete, and 1 mana for a 6/6 is clearly great value. Not 100% sure how effective this will be in practice, though. What is a mage going to do with a 6/6 dragon on the board (that you can't attack with until the enxt turn)? I'm also struggling to see how the spell synergies and dragon synergies will fit together in this expansion, and this card exemplifies that.
Token decks don't benefit from this as much as it seems at first glance, so I'm not confident that this card find its place in meta, but we will see. Effect looks strong and we all remember scourge of Prince Keleseth.
congratz, but I don't really get why they would promote this as a wild deck when it doesn't even contain any wild cards (and it's not like the wild meta is any more forgiving towards Gonk)
Rush and taunt isn't exactly the best combination and the low attack isn't good on minions. It's not good anyway and thankfully it's a beast so it won't disrupt the dragon discover pool.
I don't believe this can work. Shuffling cards into deck is too unreliable, mana cost is too high, stats are not threatening and random dragons can be good (in most cases), but in current meta its not enough.
More expensive than the other 'explorer' cards in other classes, so I think you'd really have to justify that +2 spell damage. There are some decent dragons you could discover, though, in Malygos, Aspect of Magic and Cobalt Spellkin. Imagine discovering Malygos Aspect of Magic and being able to play it straight away next turn.
Although some invoke goes nice with this, the plain body value of it is too low—the 2 health doesn't really matter anyway as these rush minions are usually made to die.
Isn't Faceless Corruptor better than Oasis Surger if you don't have quest in the deck. Of course you will need a minion on board to make it effective but it is a considerable option in my opinion.
Whoops ! I realized that they are already in the deck. :D
1 mana draw 3 is obviously insane, and it has support in this expansion with . Works great with . Seems like a certain include for Spell Mage. But based on what I've seen from Theorycrafting Livestreams so far I'm wondering what the late-game of this deck will be. Once you've drawn all your spells and cycled through your deck, what's your win condition? Especially as you'll be using a lot of your spells dealing with huge dragons and other minions on the board.
I don't think you can run Galakrond in Highlander, as tempting as it may be.
You will only run 4 invokers total, meaning that for a fully upgraded galakrond you'd need to play all of them beforehand (and you really don't want to play Galakrond without fully upgrading him)
that also makes Kronx much worse, since you can't play him until you've played Galakrond.
Did not play mill mage for quite some time, I will try your list, thanks!
In case that you do not care about winning that much, you can cut the mill package and put in some Deck of Wonders and Augmented Elekk, it is also fun:)
Fantastic low-cost removal, and the fact that the battlecry (when holding a dragon) is 'discover' makes this insane. A definite include in dragon-based Mage decks.
Obviously has great synergy with Malygos Aspect of Magic, so you can play your upgraded spell for free. Could be even more effective as a combo finisher. If you had Pyroblast and Fireball in your hand, you could play this, the 'free' Pyroblast and the Fireball for 16 damage to the face. Nice!
Flavorful and strong. Reminds me a lot of Meteor from Un'goro. Provides some great flexibility for removing minions. I imagine that when this card is used successfully, it will be a bit like pulling off a really good Defile when that was in Standard. Great design.
I've built a highlander deck for rogue. I've tried highlander package on rogue last season. It had promising comboes with Zephrys The Great, Shadowstep, Spirit of the Shark but didn't go so well because of the lack of support on rogue's highlander package.
Now I'm thinking that Dragonqueen Alexstrasza + Kronx Dragonhoof + Galakrond, the Nightmare can help the deck so much with so much lackey generation of Galakrond and huge combo potential of all of the value generation cards. I know that rogue has always best lackey generation but now it is beyond best i think.
Anyways, the deck is here;

I am open to all suggestions because I want Highlander Rogue deck to be viable so much and want to improve the deck as much as possible.
So, if you are also interested in Highlander Rogue, Please share your ideas + decks + replacement suggestions here to help me improve it.
A strong card, as the condition to reduce its cost is not that difficult, particularly with the new cards Violet Spellwing and Cobalt Spellkin. Should certainly see inclusion in 'Small Spell Mage' decks alongside Mana Cyclone and Chenvaala.
New Druid Spell - Breath of Dreams
If dragon theme for druid is somewhat relevant, this card is absolutely bonkers. Wild Growth recieved well deserved nerf and this is even better.
New Druid Spell - Aeroponics
Treants see some love this expansion. Draw two (potentially) for 0 is huge, but I feel that simple swarm decks don't have a chance in upcoming meta.
New Mage Spell - Learn Draconic

A Weekend of Wild Decks
congratz, but I don't really get why they would promote this as a wild deck when it doesn't even contain any wild cards (and it's not like the wild meta is any more forgiving towards Gonk)
Hippogryph
Rush and taunt isn't exactly the best combination and the low attack isn't good on minions. It's not good anyway and thankfully it's a beast so it won't disrupt the dragon discover pool.
New Druid Spell - Secure the Deck
Gonk, the Raptor finally viable? I don't think so, but nice try :-)
New Druid Minion - Goru the Mightree
Ancient of War with bonus effect. Some support for treant token decks, but too little, too late. At least nice curve to The Forest's Aid.
Evasive Feywing
Faerie Dragon parents or something. Seems to just be some solid arena card or a mediocre discover option.
New Druid Minion - Ysera, Unleashed
I don't believe this can work. Shuffling cards into deck is too unreliable, mana cost is too high, stats are not threatening and random dragons can be good (in most cases), but in current meta its not enough.
New Mage Minion - Azure Explorer

Devoted Maniac

Embiggen Dragon Druid
that sounds like a euphemism for jacking off.
Shield of Galakrond
Pretty solid body that will be see play in decks with galakrond in it. One of the better invoke cards as the stats is okay and the taunt is nice.
Highlander Galakrond Rogue
I don't think you can run Galakrond in Highlander, as tempting as it may be.

New Questline & Login Rewards Coming for Descent of Dragons
I watched some Fireside openings, and the Galakronds don't come in a pack, it's a Chest like the end of season rewards.
New Mage Spell - Rolling Fireball
Flavorful and strong. Reminds me a lot of Meteor from Un'goro. Provides some great flexibility for removing minions. I imagine that when this card is used successfully, it will be a bit like pulling off a really good Defile when that was in Standard. Great design.

A strong card, as the condition to reduce its cost is not that difficult, particularly with the new cards Violet Spellwing and Cobalt Spellkin. Should certainly see inclusion in 'Small Spell Mage' decks alongside Mana Cyclone and Chenvaala.
New Paladin Minion - Nozdormu the Timeless
Hard to use, but at least the stats aren't as horrible as with Mojomaster Zihi.
Duel Paladin isn't good now and this won't make it much better.
