Who knows what will happen on the release, but this looks like a wonderful way to deal with the plague of Druid tokens before they vampire you with Sire
You could put this in a deck with (HAS TO BE) neutral Spell Damage and maybe clear a board. Good for you.
Question: what exactly do you do now?
If you're in Wild, you try to win with Il'gynoth or Jace Darkweaver or both and you do badly there because those decks are bad even though they should be good and the sort of thing Wild is fine with. Power escalation doesn't increase options, it forcloses and shrinks them. So: jank. And all the Standard decks to follow are even more laugable in Wild, so no need to review them there.
If you're in Standard, you're not playing spell DH. (Nor do I think that's going to be a good archetype, anyway.)
So you're playing a minion deck. Cool. What's the win con? Feels like it has to be Jace, but, again -- that's not good. Daddy D isn't done better in DH than anyplace else, so you're just playing an inferior version of the archetype.
There are no synergies with any other cards that make this strong or even fun; it comes pre-nerf because Jace has to be strictly controlled (Team 5 seems to think).
The irony is that the devs give DH these needs-spell-damage cards precisely because DH doesn't hav easy access to spell damage. Instead of building on strengths, they ruminate on weaknesses for DH.
I'd love it if the next DH reveal is something that works really well with this and single-handedly lets a DH archetype back into a good space. I hoping to eat that crow, but I expect to go hungry.
Mage is going to have a great time randomly generating this, though, and Rogues might as well.
Now if only Ilgonoth OTK DH was even remotely playable (in Wild) DH might actually become a relevant class again. But...well...iceblock exists... Having an autolose matchup ain't exactly promising for any deck, let alone one as questionable in other matchups as Ilgonoth DH.
EDIT: Actually, scratch that, I'm an idiot. This only hits enemies, so you need your opponent to have shit to hit in order for this to do any reasonable amount of damage. Considering that Ilgynoth most frequently nukes its own minions just to have something to go off on, this really doesn't do much good for that deck. But 1 mana deal 1 to only enemies might actually come in handy to proactive DHs since they don't have to trade or blow up their board and can just keep snowballing their board advantage.
Variants are purely cosmetic, so they can price them as they want, keeping in mind it is their main monetization avenue. I bet they will offer some "old" ones at reduced price at some point, similar to what is done in Hearthstone. At the moment the game is still brand new.
Its the sort of card that dhunter really needs right now, so it doesn't just fold to aggro. Implock into relic dhunter is practically an instant concede because of the lack of early removal options.
That said, this card fills the hole only imperfectly. 1 damage across the board doesn't really do much, so its almost 100% dependent on spell damage or something like Enchanter to do anything useful. At least going for that combo will usually result in you gaining a ton of health, a not insignificant plus I may say.
If there isn't any more early board removal options this card may well be mandatory outside of aggro.
Seems great but I'm kinda worried about how they keep making variants more and more expensive. When all of them cost 700 gold that was already really expensive for a damn jpeg. Then 1200 and now 5000 of these collectors tokens? They really need to cool it with that price increase man.
It does plug that one hole dhunter is currently suffering from, which is early board removal, but its so weak. Not so much the Immolation Aura that the class needs as much as it is just another version of Felscream Blast
Probably not going to be too impactful but it will see play because there's really not many other early board removal options available. Maybe Enchanter + spell damage would be the new board clear + healing in that class.

I would imagine it should show us (similarly to any popup whenever a new card/copy is acquired/claimed outside of card pack opening), but I don't believe this has been specifically mentioned anywhere. If it's just silent, I'd expect a lot of people to complain about such an opaque implementation.
Anub'Rekhan is looking better and better. This, followed by Anub'Rekhan next turn (assuming you don't lose all your armor in the intervening turn) will make for playing a hell of a lot of big minions in a single turn.
I would think you would choose the armor in almost all cases, especially if you have Anub'Rekhan handy, but if you need board presence more, the taunts are certainly a strong choice.
Oh, here's some more random spell generation for Grand Magister Rommath. It should also be pretty good on it's own, since a 2 mana discount should easily make up for losing some of the spells that were deliberately chosen for your deck.
I could be wrong, but when you play a card under a cards cost health effect, don't they take armor first if you have any? So this would be like that, except that you can't play anymore after you use up your armor. Still, the fact this gives you 8 armor to play with means you could play 16+ mana worth of minions in one turn.
Will being able to cast everything you got from The Sunwell a second time make that a good card? I'm not seeing a ton of random spell generation for Mage.
This might stick around for you to kill 2 minions by attacking. Maybe 3. Too bad this isn't a Druid or DH card, so you also need a weapon to take advantage of this. I suppose this will at least be decent.
For the record, what I posted was not a tier list. It was just meta stats. So, it only shows what people are playing most, not what is actually performing well.
Edit - For the list of the best-performing decks currently, this guy has the lowdown on that: Best Decks Nov 22
With all that being said, I'm still kicking people's butts with Privateers, aka MF/Swain. It's hilarious to see people flail about trying to handle two or three Leviathans.
This is destroy a minion in all cases except if it has divine shield, right? In other words, Assassinate with a body, more or less. I don't think that card sees much play, so we'll see if this does.
So the best deck in the game elusive good stuff is only pulling a 53% winrate.
So realistically you can play whatever you want and win 47% of the time.
Thats less of a meta, and more of a wide open play arena.
Want to play Ecko Zillian time bomb printer go for, all those pings would actually be pretty gold right now.
Ionia is strong but not toxic so that means nobody is playing it.
Obvious overperforming cycle Champs have been tuned down, Tailor Swift is still nuts but you actually have to build around her which nobody will do but me.
Idk, it's pretty much perfect play what you want, when you want, don't suck, win games.
I can't wait for the 3rd part of the Darken saga to break things all over again so streamers know what to play again.
This sounds like it would go in a deck with a few strong undead minions that have more value than fueling your "if a friendly undead died" effects. I'm not going to try to guess what minions, but something will likely be figured out.

"All enemies"
1 mana.
Yep this card is good.

Talented Arcanist + this solves all the troubles DH had at clearing early boards. Absolute nuts cards.
