This seems pretty good. The 8 armor allows you to cheat out Crypt Keeper for free, and Anub'Rekhan is obviously setting up Druid for post-rotation, as Druids main "mana cheat" engine (Wildheart Guff) will rotate next year. And Armor druid technically has some support in the core set, and maybe the armor package makes Colaque a good legenary. (Finally)
And on it's own, Anub'Rekhan already is a 0 mana 7/7, which is decent i guess. The only thing i wonder about is how Anub'Rekhan works together with Ivus, the Forest Lord. Does ivus still take your remaining mana? Or does it use up all your armor instead. If it uses all your armor, then it might have an other niche i guess.
After seeing the 1 drop for druid thats a super sticky undead minion, and there being a lot of undeads printed i think this might see play. But if this does/does not continue seeing play depends on the undead minions printed in the future.
So only good in aggresive decks, and there its obviously meant as a finisher. I had to think hard about this card for a while, as i mostly thought "meh" because of its cost. But now that i took some time to think about this card, it seems a bit better. It does need a undead for the battlecry, but the upside is that you can go FACE with the undead minion, kill it with Elder Nadox and boost your other minions attack which is really good. Solid minion i guess.
Extremely sticky, also all of its bodies are undeads so it activates the undead synergy stuff, pumps up Sire Denathrius and together with Spammy Arcanist its 6 mana deal 3 to the entire board minimum. This seems really good, altough i think only aggresive druids will probably use this.
Okay so this is a great reload for Token Druid decks, and potentially +7 damage or more for your Sire Denathrius. This seems pretty good, run your opponent out of removal then play Unending Swarm, if they remove it Unending Swarm again until some stuff sticks and then buff your board and overwhelm your opponent. Sounds pretty good.
This seems like a very interesting card. This can be used in some Outcast DH decks, but i dont think the outcast package will be good enough pre-rotation but might have a shot post-rotation. However Felerin, the Forgotten works also as a value option on it's own, which might be good enough in some DH decks.
Thank you for the daily recap, makes it much easier to follow the release schedule, even with a busy full-time occupation, and makes the Tavern Crawl completion much more manageable - much appreciated!
Must-include in any Spell DH deck. Without this card the Spell DH deck is just horrible. Thanks to Souleater's Scythe you can run cards like Sire Denathrius, Jace Darkweaver and Artificer Xy'mox. And honestly those 3 seems really good, but Lady S'theno and maybe disruption like Theotar, the Mad Duke also seem interesting. Honestly it's going to be quite interesting to see which card will make the cut in the "optimal" Spell DH deck, or if there will be multiple succesful versions of Spell DH.
This card isn't bad, but makes me wonder if its good enough to make a list ; how often do we include "not bad" cards to our decks? Especially in this day and age of HS, "not bad" isn't quite cutting it.
Not good enough. Just plain simple as that. The outcast pool right now is not good at all, especially with cards like Vengeful Spirit in the pool. However this will be so much better after rotation because Vengeful Spirit will rotate, and hopefully outcast DH gets more outcast cards then. I feel like Outcast package here might be setting DH up for the next HS year i guess?
There are not enough Outcast cards for DH in standard rn, especially considering DH barely got any outcast cards during the previous expansions. That being said, Outcasting cards is pretty easy and i think this will see play a lot once outcast DH gets the support it needs.
Very good card for Spell DH, probably one of the pay-off cards honestly... Especially because this works well with Kurtrus, Demon-Render AND Sire Denathrius. (Denathrius thanks to Souleater's Scythe) I can see this card being a very important/vital Spell DH card, as this can help swing the board back into your favor early on, followed up by a [Hearthstone Card (Deal with the Devil) Not Found] the turn after.
Spell DH will 100% run this card, as it probably will need some more draw, and then the damage will just be an additional upside. Will probably see play, because Spell DH seems like a very fun deck.
I cannot wait to play against silly-casino mages, playing both Grand Magister Rommath and Magister Dawngrasp, and just spamming whatever spells they have in hands (twice)!
I'm worried to see that Druid can deploy 2 big treats, and possibly 16 mana worth of minions (and more, actually), for only 8 mana..! That should make for pretty big tempo plays and swing turns.
On an unrelated note, think this might be my favorite artwork for this expansion; like how dynamic the pose is
Nice flexibility if you don't need the armor, although I do feel the 3/3 taunts are pretty lackluster for the cost you're paying. It'll most likely see play in this new armor druid archetype or off of random card generation.
That was also my train of thought; the 12 armor seems more valuable to enable major discount for Crypt Keeper and the new stuff. If I wanted to populate my board instead, cost for cost, I'd go for Flipper Friends instead. Unless, you know, Fandral Staghelm
Not sure if this was mention somewhere, but after you've accepted a re-roll of your lower quality card, will a notification appear (like on the rewards tack) saying what new card you got from the re-roll? Or will it silently do it in the background and you have to go to your collection to view new cards?
The worst is Tyrael. Iirc, he has coins in only 1 bounty (the Secret Cow level), and shares it with Uther... so that's 2 legendaries, meaning you aren't actually guaranteed Tyrael coins even going through it in heroic. I get they were going for 3 paladins as rewards on that level, but couldn't they have put one of the Roames there instead of Uther?
Why do you abandon the visitor quests? Sure, by the time you've put the coins through the coin -> renown -> coin conversion the rewards aren't much, but they are still something.
Plus, I actually quite enjoy being given 2 or 3 mercs to work out a team for, especially when they are not obvious teammates.
It seems... fair enough ?! When compared to previous mana-cheating engine in Druid at least.
Apart from the usual counter (dirty rat, theotar &co), the opponent has the opportunity to counter it by interacting with your armor pool/ armor generation.
It's a replacement effect, so once it goes off, you are locked out of your mana pool until the end of the turn. It's actually quite restricting.
Also, it deserve some bonus point for being a relatively novel concept.
Finally finished Banquet of Bones last night. Now only the last remaining 29 ghosts I have to summon for Tales from the Crypt. That'll leave me at maybe 67% completion but couldn't be bothered with the Paladin and Warrior achievements coz those would be painful to complete.
New Druid Minion - Anub'Rekhan
This seems pretty good. The 8 armor allows you to cheat out Crypt Keeper for free, and Anub'Rekhan is obviously setting up Druid for post-rotation, as Druids main "mana cheat" engine (Wildheart Guff) will rotate next year. And if it does use armor, imagine a giant ivus thanks to the Linecracker combo in wild for the memes. And you can OTK with it if you do the Linecracker combo first, then Silas Darkmoon a Soulbound Ashtongue, then kill the Soulbound Ashtongue with the huge Ivus, the Forest Lord. Some Mecha'thun combo might be better/easier, but this combo sounds a lot more spectacular. (I really hope Ivus will use the armor now tbh)
New Druid Spell - Wither
After seeing the 1 drop for druid thats a super sticky undead minion, and there being a lot of undeads printed i think this might see play. But if this does/does not continue seeing play depends on the undead minions printed in the future.
New Druid Minion - Elder Nadox
So only good in aggresive decks, and there its obviously meant as a finisher. I had to think hard about this card for a while, as i mostly thought "meh" because of its cost. But now that i took some time to think about this card, it seems a bit better. All March of the Lich King Card Reveals for Day 14
Thank you for the daily recap, makes it much easier to follow the release schedule, even with a busy full-time occupation, and makes the Tavern Crawl completion much more manageable - much appreciated!
New Demon Hunter Weapon - Souleater's Scythe
Must-include in any Spell DH deck. Without this card the Spell DH deck is just horrible. Thanks to Souleater's Scythe you can run cards like Sire Denathrius, Jace Darkweaver and Artificer Xy'mox. Oh and in Wild, obviously Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate are *obvious* must-includes in Wild Spell DH. :)
New Druid Spell - Chitinous Plating
This card isn't bad, but makes me wonder if its good enough to make a list ; how often do we include "not bad" cards to our decks? Especially in this day and age of HS, "not bad" isn't quite cutting it.
Durable, detachable and dishwasher safe.
New Demon Hunter Minion - Wretched Exile
Not good enough. Just plain simple as that. The outcast pool right now is not good at all, especially with cards like Vengeful Spirit in the pool. New Demon Hunter Minion - Fierce Outsider
1 mana 2/1 with rush AND mana cheat. This 100% will see play in a lot of DH decks. This is nuts for only 1 mana!
New Mage Minion - Grand Magister Rommath
I cannot wait to play against silly-casino mages, playing both Grand Magister Rommath and Magister Dawngrasp, and just spamming whatever spells they have in hands (twice)!
New Druid Minion - Anub'Rekhan
I'm worried to see that Druid can deploy 2 big treats, and possibly 16 mana worth of minions (and more, actually), for only 8 mana..! That should make for pretty big tempo plays and swing turns.

New Druid Spell - Beetlemancy
That was also my train of thought; the 12 armor seems more valuable to enable major discount for Crypt Keeper and the new stuff. If I wanted to populate my board instead, cost for cost, I'd go for Flipper Friends instead. Unless, you know, Fandral Staghelm
New Druid Spell - Beetlemancy
A more fair card than Druid often gets.
And I'm enjoying thinking about what a Beetlemancer would do.

[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (Hearthstone Riddles)
That riddle has already been solved (Raid the Docks), the current one is
This legendary is really big.
I'd like to even say colossal.
It cannot be destroyed quick.
It's hard to turn it into a fossil.
Guesses already made are Colaque and Blackwater Behemoth. Rattlegore has not been ruled out yet.

Anub'Rekhan Druid Legendary & 2 More New Cards Revealed for March of the Lich King by Blisterguy
You're spitting facts here.
Yet I like it. It may not be a good card powerlevel-wise, but it's a good card balance-wise.
(okay, a less-awful card. Mana-cheat still sucks. But we can't abandon it overnight. They have to deflate it over a long period.)
I would touch it in wild, as a statement.
