Presumably being a DK rather than a shadow priest is just a choice (either yours or the Lich King's, depending how much autonomy you have), since playable classes are always a matter of mechanical convenience rather than strictly distinct entities in the lore. Many NPCs don't fall neatly into the playable classes, for example. So I think it's fine to have an undead worgen shadow priest, especially since it would be assumed Arthas raised it in this case.
In addition, I asked a large number of old Blizzard players, and they were reluctant to use vpn to play Hearthstone, because there are more games to choose from in China. And Netease also issued a statement that it will keep user data and provide partial refund service. The only problem is that the enthusiasm of players will be greatly reduced.
It's also true about the picture being modified.Scourge Rager. Its exposed intestines were sewn up in China. In addition, many card pictures and names have been modified.
Im actually surprised that the total revenue from the entire country only factors 3%.
But perhaps not too surprised. Im fairly certain that most serious players use VPN, so likely the currency paid cannot be tracked or paid in USD instead of yuan. China have other distractions, mobile being a serious thing there, and hearthstone being so expensive I cant see it topping charts anyway.
Very likely blizz wouldn't even bother trying to regain access. Chinese players would likely have a wealth of options to gain access to western media, the only question being how desperate would they be.
It is true that minors can only play games for one hour on weekends and holidays.I can't imagine how these children should entertain during the popularity of Covid-19.
I'm from China. You are really friendly, but the world is so cruel that we can only talk outside. I have the opportunity to communicate with you because I am abroad, and it is illegal to use vpn.
3-mana draw 2 basically, except you lose a card forever. Feels like a worse Arcane Intellect, unless you draw something that benefits from being discarded.
I don't know how many dragons will be gone by next year, but even with the dragons printed for this expansion, there should still be enough that activating the battlecry won't be a problem. A 4-cost 5/5 rush should be pretty good.
If I drew this early, I don't know if I would want to hold this for four or more turns, but there's no way a 5/5 with taunt for 1 mana wouldn't be great at any point in the game. Hell, even if it accomplishes nothing, by turn 7, you probably end up floating a mana crystal or 2.
So far it seems the pool of cards that do something for you when discarded is really small. I'm not going to try to figure out what you might be okay with losing to get out a 7/7 on turn 5, but I'm sure there's a decent amount.
Well, I don't think this is going to be the next Hand of Gul'dan. Still, discarding is free, and 6 randomly split damage for free seems alright. Paying 5 mana for two Arcane Missiles seems insane.
If you played this on curve, Onyxian Warder looks most likely to be the best turn 5 play, since the whelps would also get divine shield. Or maybe you could play a pair of cheaper dragons, not that I've gone through and checked what's available. Either way, any dragon good enough to play will be even better with divine shield and taunt, except perhaps those that already have one or the other naturally.
Interesting. I think this is the first card that summons a previously discarded minion. We've seen summoning minions from your hand plenty of times, but unless there's some discard payoff, I don't see much value in doing it this way. In fact, it seems slightly worse since if it just summoned something from your hand when it died, you had the chance of drawing something worth cheating out.
I'm going to assume this means all minions are removed, then get re-summoned two turns later. Probably in the order they were originally played so it's predictable which ones will disappear into the ether if a player played more minions during those turns and they can't all fit. As for how good this is, I'm really struggling to see how this is useful other than you have an 8/8 on an empty board, which probably increases its chance of hitting face at least once.
Do mind that they also only had the Twitch Drops enabled for the first 6 hours, even though the broadcast and the showmatches lasted for well over 7h. So anyone joining in very late would've been out of luck anyway. Not much foresight went into setting up this campaign.
At least it'd turned out to be "only" a Castle Nathria pack for today.
Sticky as hell, and its kinda the thing that aggro druid really needs, particularly since druid currently lacks ways to protect their board from being endlessly destroyed.
Also helps that it synergizes with all those 'undead dead a turn before' cards.

Don't believe Lord Godfrey when he tells you he got his ribcage removed for China's sake. We all know the real reason he did that.

New Druid Minion - Crypt Keeper
With plenty of ways to play this for (0) before turn 4, I believe someone in Team5 just wants to play Druid
New Warlock Minion - Walking Dead
I'm pretty sure a 3-cost 2/5 taunt is good regardless, but summoning it for free off of something like Scourge Supplies? Nice.

Dont know what broken things you can do with this card but somehow someway some pro will make it happen.
For that reason alone Im tentatively giving this 5 stars, simply because its inevitable.
