The Battlecry is strong, and getting Lackey through Invoke is good, but I’m not sure that paying 2 for a lackey is good. EVIL Cable Rat was already borderline, and that puts an extra 1/1 beast on the board. I wonder if Rogue will get another card that benefits from Lackey synergy. That might make the difference.
I am however considering trying to make a deck that desperately tries to get a Tekhan, because 3 mana for a 4/4 with a powerful battlecry each turn is pretty sick.
yes. ppl said this mode would never be competitive. this will prove them right or wrong.
im hoping it proves them wrong but lets see. i think the biggest challenge of BG will be how ladder will turn out after Descent of Dragons. that will heavily impact BG. on both my accounts my friends list is alwasy filled with ppl playing BGs. that will change with the upcoming exp but question is how long?
how long will it be until ppl get fed up of broken ladder and opt to play BG more and more until it eventually turns to be the main mode in HS? far fetched? quite possibly, but you never know...
Im interested to see this, i understand why the team tournament was played the way it was, dont damage your teammate too much and get draw if possible, but thanks to that you had pretty easy early game sometimes. Not at all how you would play a regular game. So im interested to see how players in a "regular" environment match up.
Decent value for one mana. Seems too slow to help Unseal the Vault much, but might be good with Zul’jin. Don’t put this in a deck with Swarm of Locusts.
I have high interest in this card, mainly because of handbuff effect, just for fun. Might as well try out the legendary paladin one that does handbuff too.
I always think handbuff is simple and cool mechanic, but it’s rarely been a viable since gadgetzan expansion. This will be easily be my most favorite one. Glowstone Technician might not able to pass this in an instant value of big stats with draw engine at the same time. Val’anyr can make better value for a long term, but is weak alone by itself.
Play all 6 copies of Claw so your hero has 12 attack.
Play 2 copies of Savage Striker to deal 24 damage your opponent's face!
Then you can punch them for another 12 dealing a total of 36 damage!
The beauty of this combo is that you only need to draw 4 cards to get the full combo, albeit it does take up a lot of space in your hand, but it should be pretty easy to get around that.
Another thing to note is that emperor thaurissan will reduce the cost of this combo from 10 to 2 with just one proc, so you can add whatever other card you want to the combo in order to deal extra damage.
I got an argument on why this card will see play regardless of dragon hunter's viabillity: bobody ever put emperor cobra into his deck, but neither did they put Silverback patriarch..
But the did put stone hill defender and frightened 2/2 taunt guy..

More than early, the tutor i hoped for was for consistency purposes, of playing them when most fitting.
Druid's one could be fairly good without Gonk, provided more Savage Striker are released. And the tutor.

I’ve heard a lot of hate for this card, but Princess Talanji might make this good until rotation.
New Hunter Minion - Primordial Explorer
Looks like good value. Hopefully Dragon Hunter works before Witchwood rotates.

It’s really good if Dragon Druid is, but it’s not enough to make it so.

Good if Dragon Druid or Highlander Druid is good, but who knows if they will be.

A variation from DK Priest but seems pretty useful. Any kind of removal without drawback is a good removal.

I think this is a bit RNG..imagine getting wailing felhound and completely ruin your hand..

It would be great if this could make my Gonk good, but I have my doubts.
