I have the "watch a friend play a game, win a pack" quest and it's USELESS because I have all the cards in standard, I need gold for the expansion, not another Nat Pagle
Nozdormu the Timeless - 5 - Stupid good card, especially since you drop this massive body THEN it resets your mana to play more around it. This will feel alot like an on curve flappy bird back in Un'Goro.
@Nozdormu - are you sure it refreshes your Mana Crystals? Cause based on the text on Mojomaster Zihi and Astral Communion for example, i dont think so. Still a good arena card, but i dont think it works like you suggest, that would be beyond busted.
@Candle Breath - just a nitpick, it draws 3, so with a dragon, it is better than Arcane Intellect :) Still probably an average rating anyway, since the requirement is draft dependant.
Wait. How would Scaled Nightmare work, since after each battle, your minions reset?
I didn't know there were upgraded cards either. Are those just rarer versions of the normal cards?
All your cards except for the Classic ones also have the wrong watermark. Not your fault though. It's a weird HearthCards glitch where importing an existing card into their database gives it the watermark of the set after that card instead of the one for its own set.
EDIT: Now that I'm looking at the fact that Micro Machine and Rockpool Hunter are in Battlegrounds, I guess enchantments carry over, so in this case, this works fine. Me big dum dum head.
Dragons! I haven't played battlegrounds yet so the balancing of the tavern tiers on these is probably trash, but I think some of these could be really interesting and fun additions to battlegrounds.
Some notes:
- Golden alexstrasza would set your hero's health to 30
- Golden Emeriss would quadruple the attack and health of minions in your hand
- Golden Scaled Nightmare would quadruple his attack
- The idea of Swamp Dragon Egg and Bone Drake is that they give you insane value (if they die during the battle phase) at the cost of having a relatively weak minion that takes up a board space.
- The poisonous 2/1 that is summoned by the Marsh Drake is added to Bob's minions and can therefore be bought for 3 gold. Maybe the golden version could summon either two of them or a golden version of the poisonous dude?
Edit: added twilight guardian because I forgot to do it at first. Also it should probably be tier 2 and not tier 3 but I'm too lazy to change it :p
The dragons are powerful, as they should be in an game because dragons are awesome. Without seeing it in play even once, I'd say Emerald Explorer needs an arena nerf. :D
Right now the sample size is small but the commons are very strong. Whenever we see lots of strong, common cards in a set, it translates to a big shakeup for the arena meta.
I'm very curious to see if the set gets balanced out with more reveals.
It's still OP with mutate IMO after evolve gets put back into wild, I dont know what they were thinking with it, theyr should have just made it have giant cost or cost 10
Also Blizzard: Who would have thought that mana-cheating is powerful?
I'm not usually one to over-simplify and poke fun, but I really don't understand how Blizz couldn't foresee a card that synergises off of board size in a class that specialises in having wide boards of small minions, and with a cheatable cost in a class with Evolve tools, and with direct board effect, would not be super powerful, especially considering their past experience.
Wild should not be properly balanced as Standard, because it will require indeed too much effort. But from being looked at and instead being abandoned in an not-so-healty-situation for months... Well, the difference is pretty clear.
To make a comparision: MtG also has a format where you can use every card ever printed (with limitation and some ban) but they keep it updated with restriction from time to time when something "broke" it. Wild on the other hands it's totally abandoned and when they look at it they just make pointless fixes that will hardly change anything and even those are done so rarely that the whole format often feels pointless.
Thanks for looking at my deck. In its original form I would say that it was too inconstant with the N'Zoth, the Corruptor package. The hope was to have a late game last ditch effort to get off a few key Quest Buttons, but it rarely mattered or even got to that stage in the game. Sea Giant Amazing in this iteration of the deck as there are a lot more trash creeps that if unanswered will push tons of face damage. The old Eccentric Scribe would often time be the reason I won games honestly having a minion that effectively spawns 5 bodies was surprisingly good in most situations I faced as long as I had some semblance of board control. Desert Hare is a must as far as I can tell whenever I play it usually gets answered, but is often time overreacted or under reacted too. Tends to setup for card draw or just be an easy 3 summons. Looks needed to keep up with getting quest done at around turn 7 or 8. Most importantily I have 100% found that it needs to have no copies to keep the Dinotamer Brann into Zephrys the Great combo constant. Revenge of the Wild Had to be cut was way too hard to setup over 30 + games
As of now above is the deck that is keeping me alive on the ladder at all lol
p.s. I don't have any of the cards that you speak of so I could not say Nine Lives [Hearthstone Card (Boommaster Flark) Not Found] or [Hearthstone Card (Halazzi, the Lynx) Not Found]...But Bone Wraith Was a VERY good idea saves lives lol

I don't know if I should laugh or cry.
Right now, basically any Battlecry minion (except for stuff like Ornery Tortoise) is a must kill if you're playing against Shaman

Don't compare Corridor Creeper to evergreen cards. Nerfed for different reasons.

I swear half the time it gets mutated to hireek. They added that other 5/5 card which does weaken it a bit.

Before they announced the Deathwing Alt hero for Warrior I was hoping Blizzard would make ETC and alternate hero portrait for Warrior.
His hero power could have a sweet metal lick and then add the armor.
But for now I'll stick with Magni, "IT'S HAMMER TIME" is such a fun attack quote.
Also I don't think Deathwing says anything when he attacks, which is a bummer

I already have them because I like the sense of completion. In that vein I'm one of many that would pay money or gold for Card Backs.

Mogu Fleshshaper May Be Too Powerful!
In fact, Wild just needs only few but clear meachanic/design restrictions. Stuff like:
- no cards discounted to (0) (limit of discount to (1), even for stacked discounts).
- mana-based synergies count the expended mana, not the discounted price.
- no ridiculously cheap summons based on deck or graveyard.
Or similar ones (i didn't consider all the possible cases here).
There is still plenty of design freedom within those boundaries.
Mogu Fleshshaper May Be Too Powerful!
Blizzard: Forced to nerf Corridor Creeper, Innervate, Wild Growth, Preparation, etc. because their mana-cheating effects were too powerful.
Also Blizzard: Who would have thought that mana-cheating is powerful?

Hunter Quest Highlander...That works! New Recipe.

I won't deny this guy's a strong minion, but I think once Evolve rotates back to wild he won't be so "OP"
Also if anyone's familiar with how murloc or battlecry shaman works will know to control the board to limit this guy's value.
