  • Blizzard Provides an Update on 15.6 Issues - Patch Next Week, Some Bugs Already Fixed

I had something like that when i had added Ragnaros and the deck became wild. turned out i used my old ragnaros from the hall of fame instead of the temporary Ragnaros.

  • Mogu Fleshshaper May Be Too Powerful!

Should be: Costs (1) less for each friendly minion

  • Hearthstone Heroes on Sale Until December 10

They should add more heroes to the store. They haven’t added any in 4 years..

  • Mogu Fleshshaper May Be Too Powerful!

Wow, who would have thought an 8 drop on turn 4 would be problematic.

  • Hearthstone Heroes on Sale Until December 10

I'm glad that Blizz is finally thinking about it's HS community. Considering new players as the topic tho, for me I'm new and started a year ago. I would like to see the adventures come on discount including more Wild bundles. I would not buy them clean straight off the bat, because it's to expensive. I'm no streamer so I don't make money by filling up my collection, but I also like the sense of completion.

I think that just making it that the mana discount will also work on the battlefield. 4 mana random 8 cost? Now its 4 cost.

  • LUCENTBARK WITH SATHROVARR

Literally the only sentence in this comment is "literally the only sentence in the guide is "REPLACE SAFEGAURD WITH SATHROVARR".".

I'm curious since this is Wild and Hunter - why Chief Inspector rather than Flare or Eater of Secrets? Just the bigger body?

    Read the deck "guide" :)

As Sinti said, the "guide" explains all. My theme decks have a bit of room to use the most powerful options, but in this case the the Chief Inspector was irreplaceable for the story to work.

  • What do you think Casual is Supposed to be?

If you are in early experimentation phase and don't want to be bothered with conceding, play against Innkeeper.

But if you want to face another human player, you must expect them to use their best chances to win, according to their own terms.

Casual is not a dumbed down place. That is just a misinterpretation. Casual is just a place where a loss or concede have no consequency.

    Casual != low tier decks

Actually, that's more likely at floor ranks in ladder!

I don't understand why they don't just rework the mechanic so that minions retain the mana cost they were summoned with. That would have solved the Conjurer's-Issue and would work out this one as well. Summon a 3/4 rush for 0 mana? Well, it's gonna evolve into a 1-cost. That seems like the fairest approach.

Would be interesting to see. Poisonous is obviously incredibly good, but it’s also immediately targetable

Worked for me. Did the brawl three times as hunter, I think I won twice, don't remember. Then I got the same quest with different classes today, and won three in a row with a token druid deck.

I hope it was a coincidence that I got that quest twice, and not some other bug. I don't really want to do the same shit over and over until the patch.

Edit: Now three days in a row. I'm leaning towards bug.

  • What do you think Casual is Supposed to be?

    Quote From KANSAS

Is casual a place where there is supposed to be no tier-1 decks? or is it supposed to be just like ranked mode with no risk/rewards? What is your philosophy about the Casual format?

I personally think that Casual is a place where you can play whatever deck you want without having to worry about winning or losing. I think that looking at he format as a place where tier 99 decks can be viable is the wrong way of looking at it. I enjoy playing casual because I can be at rank 7 - 5 stars and still be able to try out a odd homebrew deck without having to worry about falling back to rank 10.

Definitely agree. If you don’t want to face that T1 deck, you can just concede and move on, especially since you’re not losing anything

Just make it a neutral minion.

  • The Pepper Thread - Share Some Good Vibes!

Yeah I've had some pretty good luck last 2 days.

Won a DoD bundle giveaway for 60 packs 2 days ago which I immediately claimed on my EU account.

Today I won another one which I used on my NA account.

Asia account will have to suck it :)

Good luck if you doing giveaways - may RNG be with you :)

  • Hearthstone Battlegrounds

    Pro

I like the overall experience of this new mode, but the games I've played have been very frustrating. I keep getting offered those crazy demon synergy cards, but no demons. Why would they create new cards for demon and beast synergy, but not mechs or murlocs? It seems like whoever stacks those guys most wins. Also Ragnaros? Yeah that's fair. I'm hoping for better balance as they improve it.

  • What do you think Casual is Supposed to be?

I play casual when I have had one too many drinks, I just know I am going to make some dumb mistakes but I still like to play.

I also play casual to play with older decks, it's just a bit of a muck around.

  • What do you think Casual is Supposed to be?

I definitely don't think it would solve the issue entirely, but I'm sure that at the very least it would encourage more experimentation and odd homebrews when the gold incentive is taken away.

In any case, I'm ultimately of the opinion that people should just play what they want, where they want. I don't mind facing tier ones in casual at all.

This is an awesome idea. I give it a 5/7 , absolute perfect score.

Thanks, so I don't know if this is the place to ask, or if you have a road map of what's coming to the site, are the design competitions coming back?

And with that question, could it be possible to implement a custom card bank onto the site, and along with that, do a card of the hour (because there'd be an abundance of cards) similar to Hearthcards.net? Just curious.

We don't have a roadmap, yet. What I can tel l you though is card design competitions are going to come back better than we ever did them before. We will allow users to store their custom cards on the site and even eventually let people tag them with custom sets and such so it is easy to present them to other people. That will tie in to card design competitions and probably also expansion design competitions when we figure out exactly where we want to go with those. The biggest goal though for fan creations stuff is to make it as fair as possible. I was hoping we'd have something out for it already but unfortunately there's a ton of stuff to do still. It's close though, some initial work has been done =)

But yeah, card of the day is something that we'll get done, likely sometime before the next adventure comes out since we have most of the cogs in place to make it happen now.

I think now would be an excellent time to launch it since we're still a few weeks before reveal season. ;)

  • Mogu Fleshshaper May Be Too Powerful!

I hope this is sarcastic, because yes, absolutely, a 3/4 rush for 3 would be absolutely a good card. Probably too good.

  • Mogu Fleshshaper May Be Too Powerful!

    I meant this.

They simply will not develop other game modes unless it earns them more money, but they cannot see that player happiness = more money + more players.

Firstly, Battlegrounds is free. No packs or collection are needed to play.

Secondly, more players + more money ≠ player happiness. More modes + more communication + more events + more ways to play = player happiness = more players = more money potential for Blizzard.l

You didn’t even quote me correctly, so I know you didn’t read my post lol

I did, and I re-read it to make sure I had it right, and I still stand by it.

I agree with your point but your little equation was too short sighted that I had to add to it.

Also edited the main post again for the last time and I'm sure we'll agree on what I have to say there as well.

Other modes are not going to happen at this point. Hearthstone is dead in the water, at least to Blizzard, and this half baked attempt at an autochess competitor is an attempt to inject more people back into Hearthstone. They simply will not develop other game modes unless it earns them more money, but they cannot see that player happiness = more money + more players.

The Battlegrounds is an attempt at finding new players and bringing back old players, and it will not work in the financial way they want. People who do end up enjoying battlegrounds likely will spend little to no money on Hearthstone, because it’s not even tied to your collection. This is simply Blizzards way of saying “sorry we tried” as HS dies.

*In a thread about a new game mode*

"They will simply not develop other game modes."

    Okay, bud. Good talk.

Way to take the exact words you want and really push the “take it out of context” boundaries. ROF
