I would say for sure the 2 [Hearthstone Card (blatant decoys) Not Found] for this deck - sometimes getting a free Damaged Stegotron is just game winning against zoolock or quest shaman. King Phaoris has won me a few games but is a very niche card so you can replace him with a Living Monument or Burly Shovelfist (or even Varian Wrynn soon!)

So far I've peaked at rank 4 with a 58% win rate and over 35 games played so it's definitely viable on ladder!  

As far as fun... this is one of the MOST fun decks that i've ever played!  There's not many things more satisfying than seeing a board full of huge minions and 2 shotting your opponent :). I hope you have just as much with it as I've had!

Evolve is the one i'm most excited about as someone who plays shaman.  Desert Hare can be the new Doppelgangster.  It's a battlecry so there is quest synergy.  lackey synergy with evolve.  desert hare wide board cheats out mogu for even bigger evolve.  Maybe it doesn't go in quest shaman because there isnt wide board payoff other than the evolve but Jambre's aggro/token shaman has to play this.  Seems nuts.

Swashburgler is going to see some play.  In vendetta rogue it should see play over the one drop cat.

n'zoth priest is going to be a thing with lightbomb, sylv, and the plethora of good deathrattle activators it has but few payoff.

Flamewaker is going to make cyclone mage a thing again.

Ragnaros maybe is a thing in big shaman or some resurrect priest decks but I think it will mostly be just a strong topend lategame for highlander decks.  

Mysterious Challenger and secrets in HL pally for deck thinning and late game power spike.

I also do not understand the hate for renounce darkness especially considering how it can play in the modern day meta. It will be very fun.

Lots of people seem upset/confused as to why Warlock got such a joke card. But I am personally very excited to play this card, and I know that there are plenty of other people who are excited to play this card as well, some people just like the jank/meme decks. Different cards are for different people.

Get ready for the big mix-up! In this Tavern Brawl, you’ll need to strategize around minions constantly rotating board positions – all while controlling the Horseman’s time-shifted Dreadsteeds!  -  Did anyone else notice time-shifted. That sounds like its talking about the pre-nerf dreadsteeds. Deathrattle: when this minion dies, resummon it. If so, thats going to have an impact.

I have a golden mogu cultist, so I've been having a blast running it with innervate, wild growth, zephrys, swipe and elise.

Summoning Ra is fun!

Agreed, I really like this deck, gives you infinite taunt/lifesteal resources which is typically enough to win. Sometimes it does take some time to win. Starting hand is typically librarian, merchant and something else (depending on the matchup)

Sorry to hear that m8. Remember the game doesn't count for the quest unless one of you is below 15 health when it ends, so you can concede any time before then and retain your quest.

If I get your point, I totally agree. Although Mysterious Challenger is thematically to the point, who on earth would Renounce Darkness on Halloween?!

I don't understand, why wouldn't he be summoned by Shadow Essence? he is a minion, Isn't he?

I honestly didn’t notice the exclusion of Classic/Basic in that list.  I did notice there are 11 sets total.  Which now that you point out they are all the Wild sets, yeah... I bet Classic/Basic are excluded.  That’s pretty sweet actually!

If you think about it, they have never had that many sets in Arena since they made it Standard years ago, but removing the largest set means adding a few more to replace it.  And since the Adventures are only around 35 cards each, you’d need all 11 Wild sets to make up the difference in card pool after removing Classic/Basic.

Should have included some of the HoF too!

We know for sure that said cards will be in Standard till the end of the month, so I guess that by "major update" Blizzard means those which aren't just routine patches for performance or maintenance. 

Edit: actually, Chris Attalus (the Community Manager) just confirmed that the Wild cards will stay in Standard till the new expansion (source)

Edit 2: the portraits will be added with Tuesday's patch (source)

The way it's implemented now, the only way I can find to send a message is to copy the username, then go to private messages and paste the username into the "to" field. I think it would be much better if there was a button or link in the user profile to send the user a message. Some forums I've seen even have a PM button with every post.
