I love the absolutely broken stuff that they roll out for adventures. Staff of Renewal? Truesilver Lance? These are so far beyond what game balance could manage, they will be so fun to dominate the AI with!

Yeah, I realized after making it that it didn't make much sense, so I'll try to fix it. Hopefully this version makes more sense (plus it's better since it can linger). Now it summons an non-interactible token that will deal damage to minions. Once the token runs out of damage, it self-destructs.
I got just one pack, though my total viewing time was only about 5 hours or so. Basically, it's totally not worth watching for the packs. You should watch if you enjoy it, but if you're just after packs, the odds are VERY low.
I got 2 classic packs on Friday and 5 suo packs Saturday. I had the stream open all the time. Didn't even shut down at night. Since our newborn son couldn't sleep I had to stay awake anyway for the 3 days.
I don't Arena specifically because of that 5 gold. It triggers my OCD I've no use for 5 gold, you can't do anything for 5 gold, and it pisses me off that I can't just delete.... 5 gold.
I've always been kinda curious where midrange decks fall in this division. Intuitively, you might say they're halfway between aggro and control, but I feel like they tend to have a lot more in common with the former than the latter.
Lately, I've been feeling that "midrange" isn't a useful qualifier. To me, "midrange" means being able to make strong proactive plays turns 5-10, and that's most decks other than maybe pure aggro like Combo Priest or pure control like RoS-era Control Warrior. Nowadays most decks fall into this category, and the pivotal decision comes with evaluating your opponent and deciding for that specific match whether you need to play beatdown or value.
