I feel like it's kinda petty to print a card to print a pure hate card that does nothing other than kneecap a specific archetype.
I'd much prefer a reprint of The Darkness in some form. You know...a card that has its own purpose and isn't specifically restricted to countering a single decktype (while still obviously being designed for that)
I also don't think a card like this would even see play, mainly because most of the Highlander cards aren't even that much of an issue. You can't just play this on curve and be like "suck it, your deck's unplayable now" because if they draw into 2 scrolls over the course of the game it was a wasted effort.
You effectively will have to predict at which point they'd want to play their respective Highlander (or Zephrys) which, in most cases will most likely be in an agressive deck that wants to prevent a Reno or Zephrys clear...and I doubt aggressive decks can afford an udnerstatted 4-drop that they actually need to draw into in time to get a benefit out of.
HIghlander decks are just a bit too consistent at the moment to really be hampered by this...just play Bomb Warrior if you want a counter.
I'm not sure of Standard, but the average Reno deck in Wild would be vulnerable to Aggro, without Reno Jackson. Not weak, but vulnerable. They should include more healing in their decks, if such a tech existed.
My idea was a specific tech, because i was afraid that a purposeful card would be too easy to throw in a deck as a tech, while i wanted it to be a choice one has to make, to avoid making Reno decks unplayable.
And the whole purpose of Neutral, is indeed it was meant as a tech. I didn't mean to counter Highlander, just generating a vulnerability that all decks could decide to equip.
This brawl should be called "Who gets their 2nd wish first". I've played 5 matches so far, I've only gotten 1 wish, and every single game my opponent top decks their 2nd wish to find lethal. This is a terrible brawl.
That seems like a really greedy take on mid-range'ish decklist, or a zoo that attempts to control? Guess I'm just puzzled about the win condition here
Edit: What I'm getting is that it probably relies on constant smaller threats as well as buffing in hand Omega Agent(s) for one massive game swing win. I think the concept is fun but that it may under-deliver compare to a more straight forward Zoo-lackey's list or a more deliberate hand-control approach.
Leeroy Jenkins + Unleash the Hounds combo always has been a favorite of mine. But it was a different era completely ; Leeroy wasn't as expensive, mana-wise, and neither was Starving Buzzard... Awwww, vanilla nostalgia
I described the cards in the deck. Think what you are doing. This deck plans ahead. Droping a merchant at the wrong time and you loose (mabe 10 turns later ) ...
Quick question: I vaguely recall back in the Un'goro days having heard/read that discover also gives you higher odds at finding cards from the newest set. EG Primordial Glyph had a heightened chance of giving Meteor or a second glyph, Stonehill Defender had increased odds of spawning more stonehill defenders and Sunkeeper Tarims, etc.
Did the last expansion bonus also get removed in this latest patch? Is it still there? Have I been imagining it all along? I couldn't find any documentation on this, but like I said, I could have sworn I heard about this being in the game at the time.
Sounds like you may be conflating discover mechanics with arena mechanics.
Neutral anti-Reno tech

Anyway, i wouldn't mind a Neutral Beneath the Grounds on a stick.

Anyone get packs from Twitch Grandmasters?
I got 3 packs total - 0 on Friday, 2 on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. Watched 10+ hours everyday - APAC, EU and bit of US. I was lucky I guess.
Secret Warrior Nerf?
They lose power through diversity. IMO it is a very good choice. I hope they do more of this.
Rock, Paper, Scissors - A Wish for a Lifetap, A Frozen Sandwich, and A Vault Full of Lethal Damage
Nothing quite like the Starving Buzzard and Undertaker pre-nerf nostalgia!

Patch 15.2 - Discover Mechanic Changes, Tombs of Terror Prep, Wild Gets the Smarter Deckbuilder
Imagine how amazing it would be if Zayle, Shadow Cloak and Whizbang the Wonderful costed 12. absolutely 0 impact on those two cards, while completely invalidating the Mountain Giant + Conjurer's Calling strategy

Subtle nerf, like it.
Just like they should have nerfed Conjurer's Calling by introducing rubbish in the 12-cost instead of just destroying Mage like they did.
Sinister History
Hi
This is for all that want to use unplayed cards and off meta decks. And in that case also a challenge to play.
It happened by searching for a discover deck that i ended with warlock and well... diffrent. Kind of lackey warlock. Its a realy sinister history ....
So if you want to play unused cards, this has a lot of them. And thats the realy nice part.
I am still learning and testing that deck but already over 100 games. The deck works competative on ladder.
It is difficult to play (at least for non warlock players). Unforgiving but rewarding off meta lackey lock.
