Contrary to popular belief Subject 9 isn't a must-have in the secret heavy highlander hunter list. I would try to copy that one as much as possible and swap Subject 9 with something else. This list has some very questionable cards.

I just ended up throwing Recurring Villian into my Quest Priest. I doesn’t help the Big Wall Archetype, but its something fun to think about, having an immortal minion on the board.

That's a neat idea ! i didn't even think about him - sure lilke you said not the best Rezz Target for Big Walls but still a good minion that the opponent usualy has to remove

Get off your soap box.  Jesus.  As he said, you're entitled to your opinion, but it's a game website for christ sake.  Relax.  Also, a deck doesn't need to run Leeroy to be aggro FWIW.

Deck seems kind of all over the place in my opinion. The normal Highlander Hunter is a more midrangey variant that tries to stomp the mid-game. This deck kind of struggles against that because of the weak 2 drops I feel.

Also, I am seeing a lot of weird tech choices like the anti-synergy from Dire Frenzy and a lot of random cards like the Rapid Shot and Cable Rat. They don’t really fit in that well, but maybe you could swap something for Tracking to increase consistency?

Also, Zilliax. Just a good card overall, you could consider adding/crafting him if you don’t have him already.

    Hope this helps :)

Looks decent even tough i think the secret version would be way better! but if you do not have Subject 9 i guess it could be a little weaker than it should be - i mean you could still try the Secret Variant without the Subject ...

I also saw and tried a Highlander Mech Hunter using the Bombs - doing pretty good - and even better since the Nerfs because there are not as much Warriors as before :)

So maybe that could be a list you could try.

And i think that's it - that's the Highlander Hunter Decks that i know of that are good or at least pretty decent for laddering.

    So to sum it up:

Secret Highlander Hunter or Mech/Bomb Highlander Hunter - the other lists are not that consistent i think!

And i personaly do not like the idea to put Dire Frenzy in there - sure for late Game and once you've drawn your deck but i guess that could be replaced!

Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez  is the character Sean Connery plays. Connor MacLeod is the main character, Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez is the swords master/teacher.

VS likes Overflow, but I have not. At least not in these more midrange-y lists. Perhaps I'll add it back in if I go back to being all in on Nomi if control warrior is still popular (it doesn't seem to be at the moment).

Phaoris has really performed well for me, but it was only 1 day of testing. He's one of the few ways to proactively apply pressure if you aren't running the token Taurens and the like. You're usually summoning 2 or 3 six drops with him plus a few odds and ends. Obviously, the drops you get vary wildly, but it demands an answer because a Cenarius follow up would be game ending.

Ok for now i will play without Overflow and see how it goes with Phaoris! even tough the only way i could follow up with a Cenarius is if i Discover him from a card, but my opponent does not know that :)

    Thanks for the input!

I think, that s mean no single player expansion on next week, eh.

  • Valeera's Bag of Burgled Spells

Most likely next week, so it is timed with the Adventure release, maybe?

When the nerfs hit I was able to craft Dinotamer Brann and I built a highlander hunter. I homebrewed the following list:

    Deck ID Not Found

I am still working on improving the list and I would appreciate your advice!

thanks to everyone who gave me feedback! the deck is working out a lot better now than it was before. I appreciate it!

Sean Connery's character, Connor MacLeod, was not Egyptian, he was from Scotland. I know this is not the point of the article but I had to say something.

Here's my latest idea. I'm going back to a spell format for now because I like it better and feel it gives better flavor. I'm working with the idea that the very advantage the card gives you is also how it can be destroyed, just like how a fort can be taken if its armies are beaten back or its defenses are destroyed. Exact wording is still being worked on and might require a better keyword for the sake of space.

Be careful about interactions forced upon you on your opponents turn, you can draw on your opponents turn, you cant however discover a demon.

Yeah sure, but this is not just a post in a forum, where everyone describes their personal view.

This is a guide, where you are explaining stuff to newbies (and this is the only reason why i dare to sound so picky). :)

  • Classic WoW is out! Get HYPED!

I'd probably play again if it were a burning crusade or wrath rerelease. I remember first playing classic back in high school and it was amazing. I could just never go back to it now knowing how much better the other 2 expansions were.

@Shakey, I believe the best build runs both Nomi and Phaoris. Although that was mainly to counter warrior. You would first bait out their removal with Phaoris and Cenarius, and then slam down multiple Nomi waves.

That actually sounds really good and would love to try that but it also means crafting Phaoris aswell, so it'll go on my 'to craft' list

Regarding the Quest Wall Priest I just got to legend from rank 2 having only 1 loss against Quest Druid (lol).

This is also my first time ever reaching legend so its pretty exciting, feel like I made the right choice there

Hey good stuff! Nice to see your crafting choice worked out regardless.

Phaoris might not even be necessary in the quest druid deck anymore at this point. It was required to beat warrior before the nerfs because of their insane amount of removal and high playrate. If the latter has significantly lowered it may very well be better to run a good anti aggro card instead of Phaoris.

  • Rock, Paper, Scissors - SMOrcy Dorks, Holy Leisure, and Quintessential Moonfare

We're beating a dead horse here. It's a midrange deck, that I think is more Aggro than Control or Combo. You're entitled to your opinion, this is not an end-all be-all guide. Just one dude's opinion on some fun decks.

Ah, the cop out response. I didn't expect anything else, really. Enjoy complaining about Blizzard actually putting in some effort for once in trying to fix unbalanced decks  because you can't play your broken stuff anymore. Peace.

So, just checking, what is the OP "we must nerf this" deck of the week?
I crafted two more and wanted to see if the choices were ok.
Let me get it right, before the nerfs, control was awful, but now you feel that tingle inside loosing to aggro, and you want to nerf everything below 3 mana, right?
Yeah, this time I'm just messing with you, so that people realise that nerfs is just a waste of dust, because, guess what, meta will never be perfect, and in the meantime, class identity or whatever bs blizzard throws in your eyes is gone. Spells and combo in rogues, ramp in druid, whatever they thought pali was, but now it's mummies... And I hate priest more than any other class, but that nerf on extra arms, even I think it is just uncalled for.
I have a golden Sahket Sapper and never used it  it seems super OP, maybe nerf that one?
Be sure to keep those daily nerf requests going, thanks!

Are you capable of actually providing a coherent response to my second to last post in this thread or are you going to continue going around in circles without providing any meaningful insight whatsoever? In case of the latter I'll just start ignoring you from now on, all good.
