From my personal experience, most people don't care whether or not you explicitly credit your art sources. It's more of a personal preference thing, so you've got nothing to worry about.
Just got shat on by the luckiest fucking quest priest ever. Turn 5 he completed his quest.
When I try it, "Nope, fuck you. Have shite draws and face super aggro for 10 games in a row"
Fucking beyond inscenced right now. I literally want to punch that lucky fucking cunt straight in his dumb ass face
OP said "surprisingly bad decks", not "salt thread"...
I'd agree on quest druid and would like to add quest rogue as well. These two quests seemed like the stronger ones but so far haven't exactly been doing well.
I've done okay with Quest Rogue - though definitely had a good laugh when I lost to Quest Warrior of all things. But yeah I was *this close* to crafting Druid Quest but the times I played against it I won most of them with Quest Rogue/Shaman/Paladin unless I just drew for shit - so glad I held off on spending dust. So add that one to the pile!

That's nuts to complete the quest that fast.
But yeah from what I've seen/played Quest Priest is very much that you either totally dominate or get blown out of the water - very little "middle ground" as it were. But it does seem to be playable so I think generally in line with a lot of people's expectations - not broken/horrible, but not really consistent either. Maybe I should re-title this thread "Priest is meme-tier" lol?
Still though - with all the new-meta experimentation going on, I have to believe there's more "this'll be great" theorycraft out there that's blown up in people's faces?

Great Guide! I’ve used HearthCards before to make a SoU custom card before the expansion came out. One question I have is about the artwork, I’ve always been conscious about using someone else’s artwork from Artstation or Deviant art. I usually (if I can) credit the work of the art used to make a custom card. My question is, is it something I always need to do before submitting a custom card
I beat a deck running Micro Mummy's with a Mechanical Welp and Kangor's Endless army version just last night. They completed the quest first and had an annoying board of mummies the whole game, but I was able to pull through the win because of the Kangor's and the big taunt/divine shield minions i was able to get off of it.
I would greatly recommend running Seance over [Hearthstone Card (Archivist Elysianna) Not Found]--against straight control warriors, you'll always have the option to copy their Elysianna and then play it a turn later, and meanwhile you open up so many other possibilities for your other games too.
Used to search for lethal or a card that can handle a situation quickly. I used to think Tracking was crap because of the discard, but then I realized how much I missed it when I didn't put it in my decks.
Thank you very much :) I applaud your own clear and concise writing in this comment. I agree that both of those topics are very worthy of covering. Perhaps an article covering the Old Gods themselves would be a good topic to put in the que for articles, as it would be a good excuse to cover exactly what the Curse of Flesh is. The current goal of these articles is that they revolve around topics that feature either several normal cards or a few legendaries in order to give them identification, context, and story connections with other cards. This makes it difficult for me to currently write an article directly on the Titans because they themselves have yet to appear in many cards, with Highkeeper Ra being the only major one so far. I've been hoping for a Titan-themed card set for a while now, and perhaps we'll get one someday. Until then, I'll see what i can do in terms of feeding the info as it relates to other topics I cover. The good news is that since the Titans are in the story from the very beginning, pretty much everything ties back to them or their involvement in some fashion, so there should be plenty of times I can drop some nuggets until a full article can be written someday.
Curious why no Mechanical Whelp. Having only the egg as your big copy threat feels a bit risky and you can run out of threats if the opponent manages to deal with them. I run this without Murmy because it is such a terrible draw beyond the early game. It does slow down your Quest completion a bit but I use the Questing Explorer to help me get there. I've also tried Pharaoh's Blessing but found it a little too situational. Beyond that it's pretty much the same except I run it with Mechanical Whelp to double the amount of potential scary cards for your opponent to deal with. Mechanical Whelp is also a Mech so it can be Magnetized on to as well.
you could pull off the same thing with Stormwind Knight since classic and it's never really a combo people play in their deck not even with Shadow Visions
so.. yeah that combo is just MEH it's a combo but it's just too much set up for little consistency.
That's a simple way to put it, thanks! The gist of it has been pointed out before, but never too much for one to understand it. Aside of that, clicking and not copying your signature twitch adress takes us to this -> https://outof.cards/accounts/twitch.tv/MasseBre007 ,which does not work :/
Making your own cards would be pretty complicated and HearthCards already exists. I'd say keep the creation of the cards there (no need to re-invent the wheel) but allow storing of cards here on the forum. Maybe you could even make it so you only need to give the URL of the finalized card on HearthCards and the forum will attempt to read/download the image data from there (and you can then ofcourse only send a valid HearthCards URL).
That way the only thing you'd have to do is create the card on HearthCards as you normally would and give the finalized URL to the forum here when posting. You could manage some restrictions here and there to avoid any blatant abuse. (no need to allow hotlinking for example since the stored card should only be displayed on these forums anyway)
Just a thought, not sure if HearthCards would allow the Out of Cards server to read their card image URLs though.
To paraphrase Kibler, most hunter decks are fast enough to where you won't ever see every card in the deck anyways, you're essentially looking at your top 3 cards and putting one into hand and the other two at the bottom of your deck.
This is good because instead of just relying on the top card of your deck to be your last Kill Command, it can be one of the top three cards and you still kill them dead.

Really usefull, thank you.
Surprisingly bad decks?
I know guys, I didn't mean to be so salty here. Was the first time I even saw the quest and that happened.
Op I am glad you took the correct message from that post 😂. It is literally a steamroll or a get rekt deck with no inbetween.
Group Therapy! Need to blow off some steam? Mega salty? Here's the place!
Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron
I used to complain about nerfing Yogg.
Now i remember why they did it. And they must be trolling us to re-print basically an unnerfed, unconditional, repeatable and tutorable version of it.

Posts like these should be in the salty thread, not this thread

I did not know about "P" making the text appear on the card. That will save me some rewrites that's for sure

History Buff
Would this card be overpowered if it read summon instead of play?

I recommend Shudderwock and The Storm Bringer.

*Looses to a Priest who completed his quest on turn 5 through god tier draws*
*Plays 10 games with same deck and cant even get past turn 5 without already losing because of fucking shit draws and hyper aggro*
Yea thanks Blizz way to piss a man off right there. Fuck your RnG bullshit
This deck is great for a laugh. Have tried a similar one with a couple of Bright Eyed Scouts, on the off chance you get a turn 5 KP.
It definitely needs an alternative win condition to become competitive.
