I totally agree! Was initially disappointed when I opened the mage quest as I usually don't enjoy playing mage decks that much, but man this deck is tons of fun! And a lot stronger than I expected.

Just kidding, I never play that. It is actually the new Quest Warlock with Plot Twist. Definitely not the best deck around, but I get immense fun playing it everytime when Whizbang decides to roll it for me.

I'm going to change some things around soon though, but it will be a completely new version.

Bloodmage Thalnos doesn't have a lot of impact. A Loot Hoarder would be better, since it at least can damage something if it trades.

Dwarven Archaeologist has not enough impact in early or late game, so I'd like to replace it with a good 2-3 drop.

Arcane Dynamo is just too expensive for the body you get when it is full price. I'd also like to replace at least one of them with something else.

haven't actually made my mind up yet. But leaning to quest priest and quest shammy. So far I have not been impressed with the expansion yet, so who knows who's gonna be the winner

Quest Paladin (I call it "Mechromancer" because of the reborn and mech minions) is a lot of fun and is incredibly annoying to deal with. I won 7 straight with the deck until I ran through a gauntlet of aggro/tempo decks, which it just loses miserably to. Of course, I didn't face a single Control Warrior in all of my matches despite that deck being my most favorable matchup. Way to go, Blizzard...

I'm trying out a regular Secret Hunter with only Hyena Alphas Hunter's Pack, with Zephrys the Great included for the late game. It's working out fine so far, I'm 5-1 with it. I find the highlander version too inconsistent for a tempo deck. My opponents also aren't prepared when I play two straight Hyena Alphas.

I use SS in a Mech Mage build of mine. As was already mentioned cutting out small spells isn't really that big of a deal since the deck is minion based anyway. The spells I use for SS are just burst spells (1 Pyro, 2 Fireland Portals, & 2 Fireballs, which is your only low roll).
