Breaking bundles up into individual items would definitely help, especially here in the UK where it is still drastically cheaper to buy Runestones in batches of 500 than anything else. So to get a 2000 Runestone bundle I need to go through the "is this worth it?" debate a whole 4 times more than I would if it was straight cash!
I had already gone back to F2P for the Nathria expansion due to a lot of my focus being elsewhere, but unless something changes the Runestones will cement that as a permanent choice. It's a shame, because I really do like that Aranna portrait, and I was a dolphin who wouldn't have needed much of a nudge to get it previously.
They would sell like hot funnel cakes if these portraits were standalone items in the shop, also following their original reasoning of introducing Runestones in the first place. Class packs are useless for us whales/dolphins anyways. I feel like Blizzard is currently missing out on a pile of money.
The Aranna skin is the perfect 'friendly DH' skin I've been waiting years for. If only it wasn't bundled up with a Maiev skin I'd never use and behind Runestones providing extra stages to let my doubts win the debate. Better luck next time Blizz.
On a lesser note and please do not consider this a rude/privileged comment because I still enjoy my visits on OoC.
My general experience in past weeks/months is that the overall communication/response/updates is less frequent compared to before. I do not know if the staff is working on a big update or perhaps a change in the staff has occurred?
They've supposedly fixed the suspicious achievements to work as expected a while ago. Is it still causing issues for you (as in, tried just now or it's based on previous experiences)?
Anyone found out how to complete the suspicious minion achievements? Obviously the idea is that you're supposed to successfully fool your opponent but its not triggering even when that happens.
I read somewhere that it only triggers if you're fooled, i.e. your opponent has to actually play it (good luck with that, suspicious pirate is unseen throughout the last three months). Anyone can confirm this?
Also, Framester is a card that should never be good. Ive played this in wild for fun and achievements. Got plenty of laughs at my opponent's expense. Im not even trying to win, but if you pull it off, your opponent can easily skip two turns for nothing. Just so cancerous to suffer through I'd imagine.
probably a well-known fan-favorite apart from fantasy, but I dig any medical thriller that Tess Gerritsen writes. with her medical background, it's always bound to get bloody and gory right into the details of the murders, but hell, she's creative with her stories. super +1 recommendation for crime gore fans! :)
Ayyy, Carnage here! But it seems that it counts your wins on PC, because I had 71 points contributed right after I joined the event from a phone, so it must have counted them either all this time or retroactively from the event start. Either way, claiming those "quests" is possible only from a phone as it would seem.
There's a few more tricks though that I was able to make use of (and wanted to tell you beforehand but just never found the time to do so)
Archmage Vargoth and Queen Azshara are fantastic for both Druid and DH (and Priest to some extent). The DH achievement got done almost twice as fast thanks to these two.
Regarding Paladin there'S actually a cute little turbo strategy. Put Brann, Zola, both Lawyers and Order in the Court into your deck and fill it with only class 1-mana cards. This way you can basically tutor your entire combo and get up to 9 procs per game (although it's mostly just going to be around 4-5). Significantly speeds up the process if playing Pure Paladin isn't your thing.
Finally, regarding Hunter. Fuck this thing and whoever came up with it. I wish genuine misery upon them just for being this much of a dickhead. It's the antithesis of what an achievement should be. You have basically no agency and if your opponent decides to surrender all your work was for nothing.
Wanna know how I did it? Once by accident with Tavish before I even knew the achievement was a thing. The 2nd one in Wild (!) with Aggro Shadow Priest where I just threw in Sketchy Stranger until I eventually got lucky. Third one was in Secret/Quest Rogue in Standard. Once again, Stranger to the rescue (seriously that card is an MVP for these achievements).
My genuine advice is to not force the Hunter one and just play Secret related decks with Stranger until you get it by chance. It's much less frustrating than getting the perfect set-up only for your opponent to concede because they already know what you're doing and can't be bothered to be nice about it.
As far as I can tell there are essentially two decks in the meta.
Seraphin which are the do nothing decks and Vayne that are the do something decks.
They each have something like 3 decks a piece.
Wouldn't call that wide open personally so much as a victim of the mini set release formula but I'm optimistic that when the last part of the Drakin Saga releases and gives Freijord something to do there might be some balance.

OW 2 is great by the way but they cut two characters on launch due to bugs...so still waiting on that.
Thanks for the snap content. I’m not sure why there is no card text on the cards, but it makes the article pretty difficult to read, for new players (everyone atm)

It seems the latest card nerfs are not yet updated on OoC:
Also, the pretty card background/thumbnail is not yet appearing for all the latest expansion + mini-set cards in decks.

MARVEL SNAP's Symbiote Invasion Event Is Ongoing - Compete to Feed Your Side!
Yeah, re-confirmed. Continued playing on PC and it counted my wins+cubes for the event. I mean it would be really stupid if it didnt.
Elementary, My Dear Watson - Neutral Castle Nathria Achievement
Played about 5 games with this deck in standard, didn't discover Murloc Holmes once.
Is it just terrible RNG?

How to Complete Maw and Disorder's Achievements for Rewards Track Experience - Great Deck Lists!
Using Kurtrus Jace in DH will count your procs on All Fel Breaks Loose
Relic Demon Hunter
I did not think it would matter at all, but Double Time is so much better than Idols of Elune in this deck. Possibly broken even 😅

Go Team Venom! Such bias does not stem from being assigned to him, either: I would've wanted a Venom avatar even if I was placed on Team Carnage haha
Discard Warlock - Wild Hearthstone Full Deck & Guide on the Wildest of Wednesdays
Discard is a struggle for me - I really don't enjoy watching key cards float out of my hand.
Maybe I should take this deck for a spin and work on getting over that.
Shake, Deathrattle and Roll!
Hmmm... sounds about right
Shake, Deathrattle and Roll!
Imagine a dart board. Now imagine 87.55% of the board is another regurgitated RNG brawl designed at least three years ago.
Now imagine sucking at darts and trying to hit the bulls eye...
Shake, Deathrattle and Roll!
Yup, at least then, both can laugh at the absurdity of randomness!
