I'm only at Collector Level 24 and Iron 16 so far, but I'm really enjoying it! Burned through my Daily and "Recruit Pass" Missions as fast as I could, so I hit a temporary wall on the Collector side of things. I also keep forgetting to Snap lol
Seems to work just fine on Steam, too, despite the Early Access. Looks the same as if I'm playing on my phone.
My Relic Demon Hunter build is still killing opponents left, right and center. It is averaging at least 10 wins each run and I am rapidly closing in on that sweet 1500 Demon Hunter wins milestone. Only 150 wins left, which means about 15 more runs still to go, w00t! 😋
This is just one of those things that you'll only know from experience, because the card description doesn't clarify this interaction even in the slightest.
Edwin's effect will continue to happen within the turn he's played, regardless of his position. So even if you bounce him twice in the same turn he'll still grow as long as you continue to play the card drawn.
Does it defy hearthstone's prior established logic? Yes, because there's no other card that works the same way. But just like Rattlegore mechanics, if team5 wills it, then it shall be done.
It doesn't defy logic or mechanics at all. Bouncing only removes self enchantments, and Edwin's effect isn't technically self-applied. He places an enchantment on the card you draw, which grants that card the effect to give Edwin +2/+2, draw a card, and enchant the card you drew. Since it's possible for minions to gain stats while in hand, Edwin continues to gain stats off the enchanted cards.
Every time I open a prismatic chest, I wonder whether I’m making my collection better or worse. It wouldn’t take much to bribe me into setting up 2FA, but it still has to be better than that.
The Wildsteeds are good but they are not the reason hunter was strong. The bear is an Imprisoned Homunculus, and the Fox is worse than Pelican Diver. If I were to nerf the Wildsteeds I would have changed Wild Spirits because it is awakening them one turn earlier which makes them so strong.
Now that we're past the first 24 hours of the expansion, it's clear that the meta is pretty wide open. Lots of viable decks, though Vayne and Seraphine have made the biggest impact.
A version of Pirates is still strong. Fiora Pantheon and Jhinnie are both still strong. Somewhere between 5 and 10 new Vayne decks, and two different Seraphine decks are strong.
So yeah, feel free to keep away if you want, but it's pretty crazy out there. And frostbite is super viable currently (due to all the Tumbling), making Freljord actually good.
So when you bounce Edwin, it has regular stats in hand; when you play it, it has regular stats; and only when you play card drawn from it, it finally remembers its buff, right? And it is intended behaviour?
But it defias logic, goes against standard HS mechanics and isn't at least hinted in card text.
It reminds me about old bug with Saidan the Scarlet when it didn't double handbuffs until you played a new buff on it.
5 Classes with 50% winrate or over with only a 9.3% gap between Warlock and Warrior (at the time of writing).
Yes, these stats are across all ranks and that's what matters to most players and me 🙃
The meta is much more balanced than it ever was during the entire Year of the Gryphon (worst year of HS imo)
All Blizzard needed to do was tweak hunter to bring the class down to the same level as the rest and Voila! It feels like original HS again! (Aside from the same win cons each game, looking at you Denathrius 👀)
I opened a golden copy on launch of the mini set, and I was so pumped for it! Then I rarely played it. But because they buffed it and it was suddenly too good, after the eventual nerf back to the original state I DE'd it, crafted a regular copy because it's still good, and got a free legendary out of it.
Huh, you're right. I just looked around. Funny that I never noticed this before. I have to say, I don't really care for it. It runs contrary to how every other card works.
Well, I do own the card, so maybe it's time for some miracle rogue.

Finally I cannot play it on iOS as my region is Russia, even though I live in another country :D
How Progression Works in MARVEL SNAP
This looks quite P2W and predatory. No targeted acquisition, real money hidden behind two different currencies, buying missions for for real money…

Mmm, good ol' Healbot. And that Steamcleaner, I can imagine makes certain opponents cry. I'll have to remember about it next time DH gets offered.

This is still happening, just FYI. I got there and the article feed is the same as the OutOfCards homeoage.
Edwin bug?
Stiltstepper works the same way. If you play the card, bounce Stiltstepper, then play the drawn card, you still get the Attack buff.

Our Thoughts on Hearthstone's Recent Card Nerfs, Including Theotar, the Mad Duke and the Wildseed Package
The problem with hunter is the mana cheating of Harpoon Gun, Azsharan Saber, Pet Collector, and Wing Commander Ichman. And Prince Renathal makes it easier for them to survive to their power turns. I am glad Harpoon Gun was weakened but I am surprised they didn't also nerf Pet Collector.
Group Therapy! Need to blow off some steam? Mega salty? Here's the place!
Well it’s been fun everyone, but as long as Theotar remains in the current state he is in, I’m going on a long HS break.
I hope whoever designed him eats shit and dies, and see you all in 2 years when he rotates out of standard
