Yes, I did check there once I knew the reward was supposed to exist.  But there was nothing there.  And don't worry, you could never insult my intelligence more than the IRL friend of mine who after I said 3 times I already checked the in game Inbox he sent me a screen capture and was like "Go here".  So I sent him a screen cap of my empty inbox and was like "OH FOUND IT!"

Not sure what the issue really was, but when support got back to me they had me delete the app on my phone and reinstall, then sign in again.  Not sure if they actually had to do anything on their end or not, or if something just didn't work on the first install, but it worked!

I was actually kind of surprised they had someone get back to me so soon with all that was going on for launch day, but I guess they didn't have any major issues to attend to so they were working through bug reports or something.

Still funny to see a full board clear take up 6 minutes waiting for the game to remind us of all the deathrattles one by one.

Probably my favorite champion of this expansion. I also have been using her with Aphelios this deck is nowhere near as good as Sera/Ezreal or Viktor/Sera but it's fun.

If you're one of those players who finds themselves drowning in Credits but lacking the right Boosters …

Even if you think you are in this group for now, it will quickly turn around as your collection level increases. Credits are the limiting factor on progression unless you dump your entire life savings into the game, so the Fast Upgrade shop is a big trap, a terrible waste of credits. If you want more boosters for a specific card, just use that card and you'll get plenty of them.

Here's my version of the On Reveal deck:

Workin' with what I have and been quite successful: Bronze 26 after just the one day, only conceded a couple times and straight-up lost just once. Not a fan of Wolfsbane, to be honest, but I lack a suitable replacement.

Currently Collection level 71, but I haven't found many cards to swap in yet. Just pulled Nova, so now I can be a few months behind the ball with the Nova -> Carnage combo lol

My personal favorite deck is called Deathwave. It has Death and Wave in it, but it will take new players quite a while to get those cards. It's a combo deck. You play Wave on turn 5 and then you play Death + something else big on turn 6, allowing you to play two very large cards when your opponent can only play one. This works because Death's discount applies after Wave's effect. So, as long as two or more cards have been destroyed by anyone before turn 6, Death will cost 2 or less, allowing you to play her alongside another powerful card. If you have Odin, you can play Wave on turn 4, then Odin to make her reveal happen again, then Death etc on turn 6.

These are some common inclusions in the deck:

Death Card ImageCost 1 less for each card destroyed this game.  Wave Card ImageOn Reveal: All cards cost 4 until the end of next turn. Odin Card ImageOn Reveal: Activate the On Reveal abilities of your other cards at this location. Carnage Card ImageOn Reveal: Destroy your other cards here. +2 Power for each destroyed. Deathlok Card ImageOn Reveal: Destroy your other cards at this location. Killmonger Card ImageOn Reveal: Destroy ALL 1-Cost cards. Bucky Barnes Card ImageWhen this is destroyed, replace it with the Winter Soldier. Yondu Card ImageOn Reveal: Remove the top card of your opponent’s deck.

I'm much further along than most anyone who would be reading this, so here is a list of the best cards that most new players should have before too long. These are just the best early cards in terms of raw power level and utility:

    • Nightcrawler
    • Angela
    • Scarlet Witch
    • Cable
    • Bishop
    • Namor
    • Iron Man

Whatever else you are doing with your deck, you should have several of these cards in it, if you are a new player. And some of these cards are even still used when you get to Pool 3 decks.

Such a fascinating game. The locations and card generation keep things interesting. The strategy is great too. Choices really matter and games can come down right to that last flip. Snapping too is awesome. I forgot to do it but beating an opponent when they do it feels great.

I swear I sat down to just see the tutorial and like 4 hours went by. Such a fun play pattern, satisfying leveling system, and great art.

Hearthstone will still be my main game I think, just love that world,  but snap will definitely be played at least weekly for the new locations.

Here's mine, level 11 for now.

I've noticed that turn 4 can be bad sometimes, and turn 5 more often, unless i have a healthy amount of 3s (to use with 2 and 1-costs). Quicksilver is good since you always have what to play on turn 1. Nightcrawler is awesome for the middle location since you can move it on turn 6, depending on where you want to assure the win.

Ironman has a strange behavior with negative power, and it actually doubles the negative values instead of the actual power of the cards (and then to apply the location/etc effects). Kazar is nice to have since some locations summon 1-cost minions. Basically, couldn't find better synergistic cards yet. Planning to build an "ongoing effect" deck if stars align and i get the right cards (already have Spectrum).

  • Five Strongest Vayne Decks to Tumble Into the Legends of Runeterra Meta

[YuGiOh Card (CardID or Name) Not Found]Kai'Sa and Vayne are very different archetypes.

While Vayne has obviously an insane base powerlevel, she isn't necessarily the buildaround card that Kai'Sa is.

The huge difference here is: Kai'Sa decks all will look mostly the same, and Kai'Sa decks being meta makes the meta feel a lot more restrictive, while a Vayne meta will cause some cards to be overplayed while leaving it's decks enough space to build around their individual theme.

Therefore a Vayne meta isn't nearly as toxic as a Kai'Sa meta imo + that these decks don't tend to win out of nowhere with no real counterplay being present

MARVEL SNAP is here! I'll tell you, I'm pretty excited to be playing the game now - haven't gotten too far on the Collection Level or Ranked Ladder, but I'm enjoying myself. I thought that other members of the community might like to have a place to share their decks, so they can show off their collection and give other members of the community some lists worth trying out.

EDIT: Our SNAP deckbuilder is up and running!

  • MARVEL SNAP Is Now Live - Play on PC, iOS, or Android

Don't know about anyone else, but I didn't get the Iron Man variant for the special launch day stuff while playing on iOS.  Anyone else have this problem?  I don't really care so much about the variant artwork, but the other stuff this week... would be nice to get in on the launch week loot!  Filed a bug ticket already but not sure what good that will do.  Hoping it was a larger problem than just a fluke on my account.  That way they'd have to address it.  If it's just me I'm worried they might ignore it with all the launch day stuff that is happening and keeping them busy ...

  • How Progression Works in MARVEL SNAP

I really don't think it's that bad. The point of completely "random" (actually the cards are split in 3 pre-defined pools. Once you got every card from a pool you move on to the next one, to ensure that you can atleast have access to the base archetypes) card rewards is that everyone is supposed to have a different collection, which encourages experimentation with the tools you have, because you can't just netdeck for the most part.

Though the devs did announce a soft way to get the few cards you really want, without completely destroying this idea.

Another important thing to mention here is that the matchmaking also takes your collection level into account. So you are never going to play against someone who has access to way more cards than you. So I'd say there is no way where paying gets you a advantage over your opponent, besides that higher pool cards aren't better than the lower pool ones and especially the season pass cards have been mostly mediocre at best.

Also as a anecdote: I've been playing for 4 months, without spending a penny, and got every collectible card in the game so far.

I was definitely in the boat of "I'd love to just buy cards" but the current system feels good enough. Pacing on unlocks has been alright, but I do know that players later on talk about it slowing down so if I end up in that realm, maybe I won't be as happy.

I've only ever bought a battle pass, never felt like I needed to be buying a ton of gold bars to have fun with the game - Hearthstone's Runestones on the other hand...

  • How Progression Works in MARVEL SNAP

I have mixed feelings so far. The number of currencies, tracks, and mission types is overwhelming at first, and if I didn’t know better I’d think this was a 3-year-old game that had slowly grown to be way more complex than it can handle. And the basic paid tier is $10/month, when I like to aim for $5/month in a game I’m enjoying.

On the other hand, I don’t think the system is too predatory. You earn most things through play, and all money can do is speed you along a little. I think I’d call this less predatory than a system like Hearthstone, where you can always pay to get that next legendary you want. And it isn’t too hard to find people on Reddit *begging* to pay money for targeted acquisition, so it feels like the designers intentionally chose a system that leaves money on the table. (On the other hand, everyone also seems to hate that lack of control. I’m not far enough along to have my own opinion.)
