Something like this. I often read comments to the posts, but if I skip 20-30-40 of them it's getting hard for me to continue reading from where I left :)

  • New Warlock Minion - Expired Merchant

Yeah the more I think about it the less I see this impact wild. It's just far too slow and value-oriented. With value barely being a thing in wild this is just not worth running.

Cutting Voidlord in cubelock is basically conceding against the entire meta, which mostly consists of aggressive decks. Doomguards aren't going to save you against those decks.

Why not? I mean, I also don't think that people would cut a whole Voidlord for the Expired Merchant, but imho the 2/1 could easily replace something else. If I have to look at GetMeowth's list:

    https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/getmeowths-cube-warlock-5/

I would probably cut a Nerubian Unraveler, since most of the popular decks seem to be minion-based and Miracle Mage can be stopped with a bunch of sticky minions on the board (hey don't run single-target removal). This is just my opinion ofc.

Regarding the current popular Reno list:

    https://www.vicioussyndicate.com/ksrs-reno-warlock-2/

I would probably not cut anything from it, since all of the cards seem to be essential in the current meta, but if that slows down a bit in the next expansion, then another value generator wouldn't be a bad inclusion in that deck.

    Let me phrase it differently:

Against which decks do you want a second/third Bloodreaver Gul'dan or N'Zoth, the Corruptor? Compare that to the number of decks against which you don't want to play a 2/1 beforehand and/or don't even have time to play a single 10 mana card.

  • Aggressive singleton deck is actually not that farfetched

I thought the aggro singleton would make more sense as hunter, as brann can be an extra finisher. An upgraded hero power is likely more for midrange or control as the more uses it gets, the better (odd pally and hunter were different because they were guaranteed those buffs from the start of the game). At least, thats my opinion

inconsistency in aggro is a death sentence.

Let‘s compare it to Prince Keleseth. For the cost of no 2-drops, you get a potentially game winning effect in 1/4 of the games (assuming you saw 7-8 cards of your deck on turn 2).

The consistancy remains high because the 2-mana gap can often be closed by double 1-drops. The Payoff is undoubtly worth it.

Now sir Finnley is a whole new story. With 3 premium aggro heropowers (Paladin, rogue, hunter), you have roughly a 50/50 Chance to hit or miss. That means he pays off only every 8th!!! Game. And not only that:

    - The heropower is way less gamewinning than the Keleseth buff

    - There is no synergy between heropower and deck

    - Changing your heropower can even be a downside when you miss the good ones.

No matter how good or consistant the singelton aggro deck is, it almost never is worth it.

  • Idea for Genn and Baku Nerfs

    Quote From LyraSilvertongue

I see this all of these complaints about Genn & Baku in wild but I honestly don't see it. With the exception of Odd Pally I really don't see many Genn/Baku decks on wild ladder and Odd Pally counters Big Priest (which is very complained about) so I fail to see why the playstyles need a nerf.

Plus many of the Genn/Baku decks don't even see play at all. Point me in the direct of Odd Warlock, Even Mage, Odd Priest, Even Priest, Even Rogue, Even Druid, Odd Druid, Odd Shaman, Even Hunter, Odd Hunter, Even Warrior, or Even Pally. They are almost non-existent in wild.

That's 12 out of a total 18 Genn/Baku decks that see almost no play in wild. That's not indicative that the playstyle is as big of a problem as people like to suggest. Plus, these decks have to compete against Reno & Dks for the late game.

Odd paladin, odd rogue and even shaman are the strongest decks in wild. Odd warrior would be up there as well if it wasn't for big priest. And this will most likely stay this way forever until Blizzard oversees another broken combo like they did in the past (Naga Sea Witch buff/Juicy Psychmelon paired with Star Aligner and the standard druid combo). The consistency of those hero powers cannot be matched.

You don't see those other odd and even decks (minus a few) because their hero powers don't benefit as much from being upgraded nor is there a deck that syngerizes well enough with it. That doesn't mean it excuses Genn and Baku from being busted though.

Dark Pact was never an issue in zoolock either, because the deck doesn't gain anything from it. That doesn't mean the card didn't deserve a nerf. The thing with reno and death knights is that those need to be drawn first, and can only be played from turn 6 onwards. They're value bombs, not consistency bombs. That's a big difference.

Don't even get me started on how one-dimensional it is to play with and against those decks.

  • Aggressive singleton deck is actually not that farfetched

I like Prince Liam's inclusion very much. He reminds me of the reason why warlocks put Arch-Villain Rafaam in their zoo decks, although the latter minion comes with a Taunt and can also replace the cards in your hand.

But if you honestly ask me, I think your deck would be considered to be too fair against the current popular lists. Although I also believe, that Sir Finley of the Sands is powerful, his reward isn't game winning as Prince Keleseth's was and the highlander requirement would be too punishing for an aggro deck. I think having a single copy of Blessing of Kings and Truesilver Champion isn't something minor. Maybe the unrevealed highlander card would change things and make such builds desirable, so let's see what it would look like.

  • Aggressive singleton deck is actually not that farfetched

Except aggressive decks want consistency. Cutting your consistency in half by only running half of the cards that you really want, and replacing the other half by lesser cards, just so you can run one card that might not do anything at all if you don't draw it early or might discover hero powers that you don't need, is just a massive waste.

  • Theory about the evil class legendaries

So for warrior so far we've had armagedillo. My theory is that 3 of the remaining 4 will be the 3 creatures we see chasing the heroes in the trailer - so the mummy chasing finley, the tol'vir (possibly tekhan) chasing Elise and the sand worm/corridor creeper chasing reno. Not sure if this has been said before or anything but just thought of it. Any thoughts?

  • New Paladin Spell - Making Mummies

    Quote From ArcticFox

Does the copy of a mech keep only the buffs and not the 2/2 stats when summoned from Kangor's Endless Army and I have the same question when murlocs are summoned by Anyfin Can Happen perhaps less murlocs are needed in a deck to make the spell crazy powerful.

The heropower gives the summon minion 2/2, so i guess stats buffs doesn't work, only other effects like ongoing effects or divine shield, deathrattle, etc.

In case of Anyfin Can Happen, you can still copy your [Hearthstone Card (Old Murk Eye) Not Found], Murloc Warleaders or Bluegill Warrior.

  • Best game so far since Archmage

The day Archmage came out, everyone and their mother was flooding the wild ladder with that nonsense. There's a good 5 or 6 ways to do it. Not just rez but also Vivid Nightmare, Shadow Essence, Seance.... the list goes on. And then you Mind Blast next turn.... Which is why they Hall of Famed Mind Blast.

  • Saviors of Uldum: Arena Impact

Armagedillo (2): Decent stats for a 6 - although not premium. The effect is insane, and has game winning capabilities if it goes off more then once. Keep it mind it's an "all" effect, not just one, so it can be quite devastating with multiple hits in hand.

Dinotamer Brann (4): Probably unplayable in Hunter, but there's an outside chance of this working, and the 7 mana King Krush is just insane.

Elise the Enlightened (3): Fine stats with an upside that's good but not as game breaking for it's requirement.

Reno the Relicologist (4): Below average stat line for the the mana cost, but has an insane AOE effect if you can work the high lander build.

Sir Finley of the Sands (2): Tribe 2 drop with fair stats. The effect is again quite good for Arena but the requirement is stiff.

Expired Merchant (2): Pretty nice value card for Warlock. It's a small investment and with 1hp probably comes back immediately. It's similar to Loot Hoarder.

Murmy (2): Good alternative to Mecharoo and Possessed Villager. The lack of deathrattle tag hurts in some spots - but it also has a relevent Tag to make it up a bit.

Scarlet Webweaver (2): Potentially a 5/5 for 1 mana swing for Hunter. It's similar to Menagerie Warden, but better since the minion doesn't have to be in play and can still be in your hand.

Wild Bloodstinger (3): It's a disruptive card that has huge upside. Anything less then 3 attack being pulled out will make this card a bargain since it essentially delivers a 6/6 for 6, while removing a card from your opponents hand. The up coming Arena meta rotation will bring a lot of poisonous minions so this could be a huge risk for this card, not to mention some really strong larger minions like Violet Wurm.

Hidden Oasis (2): 6 mana 6/6 Taunt is solid - the heal option is over priced, but the flexibility is there so it does give the card added value.
